From what I've heard reports in Greece suggesting Manolas to Arsenal is a done deal with a £8m pricetag.

Any truth in this?

{Ed002's Note - There is interest in Manolas from a number of clubs including Arsenal. I am not aware of any deal at this time but he will be moving.}

Jim White from ssn said arsenal are 'certain' to make one last big name signing this summer, what do you think of this Ed? Cavani comes to mind?

From what I've read regarding the situation. Karembeu (Former Arsenal scout and current Olyimpiacos sporting director) says they are not willing to talk anything under 10million euro which is around 8mil pound. He says that Juventus are interested and are the players first choice should they bid.

However during a talk with Olympiacos president, the player agreed to move to whichever party offered the Greek club the most money.

Trying to start a bidding war between ourselves and Juve by the sound of it.

Can anyone update me on Gnabry's mystery injury. I have a feeling something is going on, as he clearly is a superb talent & would benefit from staying at the club. Yet, the rumours are that he is to be shipped out on loan. Has he upset Wenger?

{Ed025's Note - i think its just a numbers game robbie, if arsene is to bring someone in then a pawn will have to be sacrificed mate..

With a full squad, is he likely to feature that much? Mainly cameos off the bench I suspect, so I think game time is the priority. Looks a fantastic propect from games last year, and age group internationals.
Maybe an option to recall in Jan window if injuries in the squad?

I hope we loan him and he gets the first team football he deserves. IMO we already stalled his progress last season when he should have got more game time.

@ed25: But isn't be under 21 and therefore doesn't count towards the 25 man squad!? So keeping him at the club surely wouldn't hurt the numbers game?

I think he's in need of more experience, like JW10, JC (Joel Campbell not Jesus Christ) and other player who Wenger likes. Loaning him to a prem club gives him the minutes he needs to take the step from potential to BEAST
