I read at a swedish site that we are interested in Bernard from Shaktar Donetsk. Any truth in that? I think he was mentioned a couple of years ago when he eventually joined Shaktar?

It's a job to say who is strong enough and who isn't until they get a chance 23 mate, Di Maria looked a much better bet than Mahrez when the they arrived in Britain.

Agreed 62, was genuinely asking the question, not taking potshots.
I guess it's more a question of how he fits into our team and if he will provide more balance to the squad.
For years we stocked up on smaller, technical players who lacked the physical presence to challenge teams like Chelsea and United, but I'm really liking what Emery is doing thus far.

Hi Ed, sharkopod made good listening. I don't think you mentioned him in it. Kovacic. There were rumours last year that I think you quashed but with his lack of playing time at RM is there any truth in the latest rumours that we're persuing him?

If it was a choice between Torriera and Nzonzi then we have chosen wisely. No need to go DM mad. Some discipline and compusure with this lot and we will push a top 4 over 38 games I’m sure. It’s the prem it can change on a year to year basis. For me city and Liverpool will be there and a mix up with spuds, Chelsea and United is where the fight lies. We do have a genuine world class striker in pea and a great wideman if we need laca through middle. A winger would be nice and I’d like a punt on Meyer! Hopefully there’s a sense of a squad wins a league and people accept their roll and work hard.
