"He gave us his answer. He chose to join Arsenal and so he left his last medical visit there" - Auxerre president Cotret Guy

Ashley Williams will not come to arsenal. We will get a new CB but he will not be from another premier league club.

Lol quoted 100mil euros

I would love to see him in arsenal. He is very talented young men.
Agree0
Disagree0
They asked for 60m for Giroud we got him for far less than that,
If we get him it will be for around 10-15m
Agree0
Disagree0
However, he has a price tag of 100 million
Agree0
Disagree0
He's also 5ft 7, as is Cazorla. Walcott, Ox and Wilshere aren't much bigger. That's too many short-arses in one midfield for my liking.
Agree0
Disagree0
Its quoted by the same men who said we have to pay 50m for Giroud but we paid 9.6m for him so we might be able to get remy cabella for less than 20m
Agree0
Disagree1
Oh good, a 5' 7" attacking midfielder. Just what we need to replace Jack and Santi
Agree0
Disagree0
The Ox is 5ft 11, hardly short for a winger.
Agree0

This fella is quality who cars how short they all are barca are all short arses have you seen them play and to be fair good footballing sides football is played on the floor
Agree0

Ox is 5' 9" u actually having a laugh I u think chambo is almost 6ft!
Agree0
Disagree0
BOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I remember him fallin all over the place when he got the ball. We on't need that light weight poofter!
Agree0
Disagree0
Wow an argument about how tall the Ox is! Can I join in? Wiki and Fifa13 both say 1.8m or 5'11 in real money.
terry ;)

Cabella has a recently had a 60mil price tag put on him.

It sounds like we are close to agreeing to sign Ashley Williams, which will be an excellent signing for a reported £8-10M, plus wages of approx £60,000 per week. He is an experienced player, who is used to playing in the Premiership. I have a feeling Vermaelen may depart as he had a poor season, maybe the injuies he sustained have taken their toll. However, I cannot believe we will only receive the reported £5m, for him. If he stays & Williams signs, we will have 4 decent options for the center back positions. We have 2 quality left backs & of Sagna stays we have 2 right backs. So the defence is sorted.

Would be good to have vermallen, williams, kos and mertsacker, now that's amazing: none of them are egos either and wouldn't mind staying on the bench - it will give us serious depth in the central defence department - winning EPL is about consistency and having an arsenal of centre backs is a good start
Agree0

Swansea chairman has denied it, saying there has been no contact with arsenal.
Agree0

Maybe he has, but (apparently) there have been two rounds of talks with Williams' representatives.
Arsenal are likely to secure him for between 8 and 12 million

Waste of money in my opinion :)

Will only happen if TV leaves. can't see us spending that money to have 4 CBs all of who can only play CB and all of who are 28 ish. They won't be happy with the squad. If TV stays, we are more liekly to get a young CB or a RB that can fill in there. I'd actually like to keep Sagna cause he's actually quite a good CB.
Agree1
Disagree0
Vermaelen will not go, unless a 15 mill plus offer come's in, defo not 5m. The man has had a bad season Holiday plus pre-season he will be back, hopefully not as captain though
Agree0

Sagna is not an option!

Is there any news on Lewandowksi? That man is class. Is there any interest from Arsenal?
Believable11
Unbelievable48
Lewandowksi is a good friend to Podolski and Szczesny.
His preferred club in England is Arsenal.
But. there is a huge interest from real madrid.
Everything depends on the manager signings in real madrid / chelsea / city
Agree0
Disagree0
If he moves, it will be to Madrid or Bayern IMO.
Agree0

Where did u get that info?
im polish and there is "new" stuff about lewandowski about 10 times a day in our media and NEVER EVER has he even mentioned arsenal. if anything there has been talk about united first and recently about chelsea. no arsenal at all. (he'll end up in bayern as was said from the start).
secondly, he is very far from being "good friends" with podolski and szczesny (only because they polish or almost polish don't mean they are automatically friends). actually, he isn't even good friends with his polish teammates - piszczek and blaszczykowski (they openly said it in polish media many times - they are "work collegues" nothing more) and is regarded not really a likable character by many in poland.
so don't really know where you are coming from with your info. no point in making stuff up and confusing people mate.
