Just been reminded that Eto'o is out of contract this summer, a very useful striker in front of goal even if he is getting on a little now. Would Arsenal consider him as an option for a year to ease our striker shortages and leave more money to be spent elsewhere, such as CDM?

{Ed002's Note - In signing on fee and wages it will be £10M for a one year deal for a 40 year old.}

1.) HAHA ok, yeah that's fair enough. Probably best use the money elsewhere for someone with some longevity.

I've said it before on this site, but it wasn't posted. Would it be the worst idea to try out TV5 out at CDM with our current crop of injuries in that area. A good ball playing CB that would help sure us up at the back against these top teams in our hard next few games, especially at set pieces.

{Ed001's Note - why do people always whine that it wasn't posted when they just haven't seen it, there is a huge difference.}

1.) Great shout Bear. I think due to our current injury situation that might work, and also it would give TV5 some much needed game time.
Cause I hear there are some grumblings coming from his camp, due to I being world cup year.

2.) City did that yesterday good result.

3.) I think it would but worth a go as I can see the potential for him playing there.
Dropping him has been Arsene's best move for years no way would we have made top 4 last season or be top now if he hadn't.
But part of being in a top side is making your self as pickable is possible so if he could add another string to his bow it would have to be good for him and us

City did it yesterday with martin demichelis who looked every bit of his 33 years of age Chelsea also did it with david luiz who had a great game

Just seen some interesting comments from Pep. On Kroos he said 'Here today, gone tomorrow'. I know that comment has been largely linked to United's interest in the player but is there any chance our delegation over in Germany may turn to Kroos with the Draxler deal seeming to be stalling? He's a really classy player, he may not have the pace that perhaps Arsene is looking for to be used on the wing as cover. But overall one of the most mature midfielders in the world I think.

1.) He was god awful last night his Shooting is a lot like Guarins & Hulks all power no precision. When he came off Bayern were a different team Pizzaro & Manzukic changed that game. There was no maturity in the way he acted being subbed throwing his gloves at the bench, refusing to shake hands with his boss & heading straight down the tunnel it was pathetic & Pep made the right choice.
