Hi all,
Saw someones post a few days back about Santi leaving for spain and whether he would be replaced with a youngster and the name Beckham was used in his list of youngsters. My fame to claim is i used to play with brooklyn at bobby charlatans school of soccer in cheshire as did david when he was younger, travelling down to london to play in cheshire. He was a couple of years younger than me but I have to say he was awful! He went off the pitch and had to be forced back on by David and didn't look to like football at all (around aged 9) now around 6 years later he is in arsenals under 18s youth team. just shows what good coaching can do. Or was this just because david trained with us in the summer? i think so as he is now about to be releases, i can defiently confirm he isn't one for the future or the Prem. both of the other brothers are at renal i know nothing of their credentials. So isn't really a rumour concerning anything major at arsenal but is a nice story to tell and brooklyn will defiently never play for a top team, i guarantee. If you look in david beck hams my side biography there is a picture of me and him at the school of soccer, very proud of this sorry if i sound just like I'm showing off a bit but is my fame to claim

FC Twente Dortmund and Feyenoord have all made pre contract offers towards our young striker chub a akpom and despite Arsenal offering a new contract nothing has been agreed. Slightly disappointing considering his height and pace could lead to him being a powerful player and if he found his shooting boots the kid looks bright. does anyone now what the situation with him is regarding where his heart lies?
1.) Presumably Chuba being offered a combination of large wedge and first team football. A real shame if we lose him but wtf he's got to get his nose in front of Danny W yet so no immdediate loss. Still think we should've extended his contract much sooner at least we could price him out of a move.
2.) Hes been here since he was six, I suppose, its all down to what he thinks is best for him going forward, but the same goes for coq. I would hope we keep both and keep them happy.

Many people on this site repeatedly mention how we need to sign an established CDM (maybe two), a new keeper (chezney not experienced enough and his judgment is poor as demonstrated at s'hampton) a new left back (Gibbs door hold the defensive mentality to make our defence a solid bank of four, bombs forward without thinking about the consequence, and nacho seems very average in both departments, defending and attacking), two centre backs, one world class, one back up (we all know we need another cb as it is without him even being a starting 11 player and then we need to replace mertz, who looked slightly better after liverpool but is on the way down from here imo) chambers will then move across to cb cover while hector deb are both promising right backs. with world class attacking mids we will then be okay in that department as I pray ozil hits form next upon return. finally we need a poacher, a goal scorer, welbeck for me is our best front man who works so hard, has pace but as we have seen just doesn't score enough, this is a knack some players have and others don't. giroud, I'm a big fan of his and think he has improved a lot since his transfer several years ago, he is very good target/ hold up man. but again not a goal scorer, so we also need a new striker if we are to challenge for an trophy we want to, which is what the old arsenal did. my major concern!: all the player required listed above are going to cost a whole lot of money but we need them and the players we offload are not going to get any money hardly, but will decrease the wage bill a lot. this leads me to the point it will take two or three years to bring this personal in due to FFP, Wenger claiming the certain player isn't on the market or isn't the right one and our owner not willing to sanction the heafty price of becoming challengers for every trophy. 2 or 3 seasons and we will be lucky to get half of these players, trust me! And by this time kos will be getting quite old (might lose a bit of his pace he is regarded for) sanchez will only have 2 years at his best left, deb will be getting on. so my concern is more players are going to be have to be brought in after the others I mentioned are brought in if we are to see some years of success. on the basis of all this I think wenger can see this and will become overwhelmed by the task of recruitment and will retire at the end of the season, especially if we don't get the 4th placed trophy! furthermore this job of recruitment is a giant task for even the best of managers so we need to prepare for the seasons ahead because we will defeintly be dropping down from the 4th place we are known for before we rise back unto 2nd or 1st. very negative I know but wenger has let the club slip in the last 8 years by not replacing big players with other big player things big managers do.

The mail on sunday is reporting we are interested in signing a 17 year old who currently plays for benfica. His name is Goncalo Guedes and has been dubbed as the new cristiano ronaldo, however benfica want £40m for him! Can anyone shed any light on his sbility, goal scoring records or achievments to date to esrn him this proce tag. Can 17 year old really be worth when £40m?
1.) All I can say is that I will stick my neck out and pretty much guarantee that we will NOT be signing a 17 year old for £40m

steve mcmanaman played for liverpool and then moved to madrid on a free where he won the champions league and then moved on a free to manchester city, never cost anyone anything and has won a fair amount of trophies, not arsenal i know but was close to jointing arsenal but instead returned to perm through city
