eds, what's the situation regarding reus? is he now set to stay at dortmund, would be a shame as i'd love to see him in the prem. Cheers for the good work!
{Ed002's Note - The Reus situation remains the same in that Borussia Dortmund offered a significant cash sum to the player to sign a one year extension to remove the release clause that German clubs could use to force a deal for the summer. Manchester United's interest has moved on, at least for now. Chelsea stepped back from any deal in December after several discussions resulted in a significant issue becoming clear - if that goes away then it is possible something could still be done, but I very, very much doubt it. Bayern is no longer pushing for him. Real Madrid would like a deal but need to move others on first - which it looks like they will try, but it could be 2016 before they want to make a move for him. Barcelona may look to striking a deal for January 2016 as a replacement for Pedro - but Reus has made it clear that he feels let down by them last summer. Arsenal will be interested if he is available but my expectation is he will probably remain at Dortmund next season.}

Well reus is supposed to be Madrids signing if benzema leaves. Looks like we will have to wait a season to get the player we need

I have, dare I say it, a more interesting question. Is Theo's imminent contract signing, given the players ambitions, likely to include promises of regular starts as centre forward? If yes, will that effect our willingness to sign a striker (I don't believe we need one but that is by the by). I don't expect the Ed's to have the answer, but it's certainly something to ponder.
{Ed025's Note - i cant see arsene giving anyone those kind of assurances mate..

Thanks for your input Ed. Assurances or not, I believe he will play himself into that position this season. He was showing promise there before his injury, and he is more suited to Ozil's game than any one of the strikers we have been linked with. One of the best I've ever seen at running in behind.
{Ed025's Note - well if thierry can do it...then why not theo?...ill tell you why because he will never be mentioned in the same sentence as the great man mate.. :)
