Eds any truth in the Pedro rumours? Apparently we looking to bring him in in Jan? Starts have been limited since the arrival of Neymar he is looking to move?

Keep up the great work! {Ed002's Note - The only interest that I am aware of is from PSG who were also interested in the summer. Barcelona won't want to sell.}

Mark1234

1.) Thanks Ed002

2.) I would love to see Pedro join us, he is awesome. If we could also sign Reuss (spelling?), we would have quality options out wide.

Eds any interest of late for Dzagoev?

{Ed022's Note - Speculated interest back in the January window but nothing in the last few months...}

Eds any possibility of Marco Reus? I know Wenger tried to get him before. Keep up the great work. {Ed029's Note - No mate.}

MARTIN ODEGAARD, what a young talent. Looks like we missed out on him, Real Madrid seems the likely destination. I think this boy has a big future ahead of him.

Mark1234

{Ed002's Note - This is nothing to do with Arsenal - he was never going to sign.}

Well that's it I'm done with this she*p! This just proves that nothing is going to change with our club. We have no transfer plans what so ever. We will start the new season with Vela and some kids we have never heard of as our new players, how ambitious! The fact that we let a player like cesc slip away when we have first refusal, well something is seriously wrong!

Mark1234

1.) LOL

How can you say that, we haven't signed anyone yet

Just my 2cents on the Cesc saga, nothing has been confirmed by anyone yet. Yes Chelsea have admitted they are interested in him but that's about it. Cesc hasn't come out and said anything, and since when can we believe anything Arsenal say about prospective transfers?( 1 day they say they never heard of a player, next day he is confirmed as an Arsenal player).

Now i'm not very knowledgeable about clauses an such but is it not a possibility that Arsenal are waiting for a bid to be firmly accepted by Barca for Cesc before it activates the buy back / first refusal clause?

Im not saying he is going to join us, but there is always a chance. It would be crazy for Arsenal not to consider getting him back well that's my feeling anyway. The only negative from the boards perspective would be that Darren Dein would be involved with the club again.

Here is a the link where Pique and Del Bosque are taking about the Cesc transfer.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g6_HBfqSp7g.

I don't understand Spanish so can't tell you what was said.

Maybe you guys who do speak Spanish can tell us what was really said?

Mark1234

1.) According to one of the newspapers in my country he is saying something like: "It's done. He will be sold for 25 million £."

I don't really remember any of my high school spanish, so i'm not sure if its true though.

2.) Looking at this from a very skeptical perspective it all seems very set up. The two of them are giggling the whole way through and surely they would of known the mics would be on? Also if I remember correctly for the whole Fabregas from Arsenal to Barca saga Pique seemed completely incapable of keeping his mouth closed and was constantly coming out and making bold assertions about Cesc's plans.

3.) The Dagala will translate it I'm sure, he's bilingual and he speaks a few languages as we'll I hear :-)

4.) Dagala lol love it

So all the rumours have started picking up pace now, I still wonder how legit some of these are? Eds perhaps you could shed some light please.

Aurier - seems legit esp if Sagna leaves
Di Maria - would be amazing but doubt it
Pedro - same as di maria
Sanchez - maybe

I think if we put in a decent offer they may consider. Mata no longer a guaranteed starter for them.

Similar to Arteta, but doesn't sort out our DM problem.

If we buy an out an out DM, then wouldn't mind Cabaye at all.

He has played RW at Malaga and for the Spain National Team, we haven't tried him on the right wing yet. I agree that he is far more effective down the middle compared to LW, however wouldn't mind giving him a go on the RW for the emirates cup.

Sadly I can only see Arsenal buying 1 CF/ST so if Suarez comes that means Higuain is off. Personally I would rather have Higuain, after the first season with us and 30+ goals he will be the most wanted striker in world.

NZ can be thankful the weather disrupted the RSA batting innings, would have been a diff story if RSA batted a full 50 overs. It was a very good game!

Hi Afghan Gooner, yeah I hear what you saying and mostly agree with you. The one thing that kills me is Wengers inability to change tactics. We have become the most predictable team to play against. Since the beginning of the season every time we have a corner where does Mert go? front post, its ineffective teams know he is going there and have prepared for it! In fact i'm almost certain that we are the most ineffective team at taking and defending set pieces.
What we need is a change of tactics and formation.Mix things up a bit, against the bigger team man mark as apposed to zonal marking.
If Wenger uses the same old tactics again for Man City believe me we going to have another "accident
" as he likes put it.
