Hi ed, what's the news on krychowiak. Are we still interested in him and how much would the fee be?

No name

{Ed002's Note - Arsenal has sustained interest in Sevilla's Krychowiak - but he is not the first choice and they will only return to him if they cannot get the player they are looking at. An enquiry from Southampton was rebuffed although the amount of money theu suggested was well below the asking price in any case. Right now no one has made an offer for him according to Sevilla and I suspect he will stay there.}

Just putting two and two together, assuming Carvalho is the first choice, this suggests that Arsene is content to have Coquelin and Arteta as first/second choices through to at least January?

Big assumption, with wenger it might be someone off the radar like a wanyam or mccarthy, we sem to never know until we know.

When they come their mentioned briefly and next thing you know their in the shirt haing their photo taken with Arsene signed sealed delivered, the more reported the rumour the less likely it is to be true.

Who is the first choice Ed?

I agree with that G62. The problem with journalism now is that they get hits for every link clicked and advertising money. You get for example " Spanish Giants chief exec flys in to London for showdown talks for exciting goal machine" and when you click on it the reality is that someone from real sociadad has inquired about Joel Campbell . There seems to be very few journalists worth their salt these days and every one from man to his dog wants a piece. It's all part of the fake BS we live in these days

The Beeb had a really bad one a month back, BG82. It read, "Vidal joins Barcelona". This was at the time when the big transfer rumour was Arturo Vidal, however, obviously he had not joined Barca and it was infact a young Spanish winger. So it was in no way false, but as soon as you clicked on the article, you knew that it was clickbait.

The truth is very hard to come by in transfer windows these days and even harder to come by with a club like arsenal who keep their cards close to their chest

Simples really, just about using a bit of common sense
