A source close to me suggests we r in advance talks wit ozil from madrid after they completed the signing of gareth bale earlier.
My source also suggested that 2 more madrid players will follow him in after his deal is completed. exciting times ahead gooners

southatlanticgooner

1.) Is your source every online football website by any chance?

2.) 'A source close to me. '
you mean the internet.
The idea with rumours is that the whole world hasn't already heard it. Maybe we'll sign a goalie on loan too.
Maybe it's Monday tomorrow.

3.) I can believe that, I might explain why Arsenal have linked themselves to so many other players not wanting anyone to get a sniff of they really want, might also explain why AW has been so calm through it all.

If. If it is correct then I owe the bloke a big apology

Hope we get zil and khedira

Hi Ed. with chelsea now in for willian and looks likely to sign. do u think we have any chance of nicking juan mata? {Ed044's Note - Apparently it is Moses that is available.}

southatlanticgooner

1.) The ironic thing is that Moses has actually looked pretty good this season

2.) I think if we put in a decent offer they may consider. Mata no longer a guaranteed starter for them.

3.) Moses will lead us to the promised land. but can he be bought

4.) As Mourinho himself states, there is no harm in putting in an offer. I think a £30m offer would get him myself

5.) Moses is decent. Not world class but would be a fantastic squad player. Utd are full of squad players who aren't necessarily going to play every week, but are good enough to slot in and out when required. We've lacked these kind of players for years and Moses could be ideal. I'd actually play him in goal as opposed to Sczcesny. Have no idea if he's any good, but I have every idea Sczcesny is too terrible.

6.) Surley they will need moses for thier HG player quota, can they really bring in 4 players and let HG one go. could be a real poss for Mata surley. should be top target if poss, geat LM or played behind striker.

7.) Moses, one of the most overated players in the premier league. No thanks

8.) As glasgow gooner says Moses is a good squad player, unfortunately our main striker Giroud is also only a squad player. We need a "top top top" striker

So everyone wants silent stan kronke out of the club.
Jusy wondering about Usmanov. he also owns a high percentage of the club, says he's a true arsenal fan hence the reason why he bought into the club. The point i'm trying to make or ask is. if he is a majority share holder and worth billions could or would it not be possible for him to buy a high profile player for the club from his own pocket and promote it as some form of investment? I mean I love arsenal pretty same if not more than he does, and If I was worth billions had majorty shares I certainly would do it. ed or anyone else's thoughts on this? I am not sure if this is possible but if it was this certainly would show kronke what a waste of space he is at our club. then again if he did propose this, i'm guessing the board would immediately reject his offer. ED'S : your thoughts please?

southatlanticgooner

1.) Pretty sure he tried to invest 100 million and didn't want anything in return but they turned him down said they didn't want it could be wrong but that's what I remember of it.

2.) It has been reported before that usmanov has repeatedly offered to put money in directly for transfers, and also suggested a share issue as an alternative to raise money to cover transfers and debts, the club always rejected his offers

3.) My understanding was if he took control of the club he would then spend £150m on players but this would be debted to the club and not from his own pocket.

Just want to make a small point.
Although I am just as annoyed and disappointed as the majority of the fans after yesterdays defeat and the lack of signings this season as well as season before.
Just remember fellow gooners. one game doesn't define our season ahead!
No matter how disappointed and upset we are with wenger and boards decisions for the past 8 years. we need to stay truthful and back our boys every game from here on out!
we were there for the boys before our glory days and I know we should or will damn well be there when times are bad!
Remember we support the arsenal. not wenger and not the our ignorant board.

Cant see this being true. Wots the point of signin a player for next season when we are in desperate for dm cover right now!the only truthful rumour I can see coming very soon is that if arsenal fail to qualify for champs league, then the arsenal faithful will be calling for wengers head. He had adequate time to bring in replacements for the 17 he let go. As normal he believes this squad was good enough to win the league even the the whole world of football could see how worrying light are team really are! I can see the pressure of losing out on champs league and lack of signings when there's 70+ mil sitting in the bank getting the best of wenger and leaving him no choice but to walk away from the club and leaving himself as an embarrassment and not the legend we all know he has been in the past.
ppl mite say who can reolace him and trust me I could name 10 just of the top of my head.

Agree with you both. that's is why your country and the place I chose to migrate too never win a major trophy. Whenever england are in a high place the media always and continue to find a way to pull em rite back down. are they the only people in the world to do this? Whenever the team needs more support the media finds a way to turn fans against them. for once like the brazil world cup why don't they actually produce stories that boost the teams confidence! It mite be that extra push they all need!

I'd take Michu over Moses anyday. I can't see how Moses could inproce Arsenal same way he hasn't improved Chelski.
I mean if he's so good why are they trying to bring in Willian and flog of Moses?
Your entitled to your opinion just like i'm entitled to mind.
In all honesty though I would really like to see Lamela in the red and white of Arsenal!
