Has anyone got news on Arsene and a new contract, I have been told he has as good as signed one, but also heard today he could be off after the Final

ED?

{Ed025's Note - arsene is the only one who really knows BG, im sure he will let us know very soon mate..

It depends on his thinking man.

if winning the cup and leaving the club is his parting gift, its because he does not see us competing or strenghtning in the way our competitors will in the coming years. so its like a farewell gift.

if he does stay on, then perhaps he can guide us to a trophy and leave us as champions.

I have no idea why he did talk about germany as a coaching opportunity, is it because guardiola's time at bayern maybe up?

has he been contacted to get his reaction? if he is interested?

perhaps he will sign on for a year more, all I can hope is we can sign players and attract some world class managers.

Its a tough one to call mate, he's given his word but why not sign then?
At a total guess he's off and he and the board have agreed to wait until after the final to announce it.
If so his replacement is already and waiting as the club would be in panic if not not, they've done we'll to keep it quite if he is going very dignified

Hes not off! We are stuck with him for 2 more years.

{Ed025's Note - stuck with him steve?...i can think of at least 16 other premiership clubs who envy your position mate...be careful what you wish for fella, arsene is an honest guy and a great tactician, IMO you are very lucky to have him..

He is a great manager no doubt. But nowadays his tactics has been found out. When required he is not delivering. That instinct has been slowly faded. As an example in this season the worst performance by ManU and still we couldn't put a single goal past them. But Sunderland did it thrice including league cups. I think he has to move on now after serving Arsenal for the last 17 years with a trophy (FA Cup for sure). Maybe Klopp would be an ideal answer. But not Roberto Martinez thou.
