Eds.
Do you think Arsenal will sell Wilshire?
I think he has been a drain on our resources injuries or otherwise.
He has missed around 170 games at Arsenal (how many seasons is that combined ) you can't say that he has played the rest as he may have only had minutes in a lot of the remainder.
I've been to France twice for these Euros and seen the England team train I think along with others that he is basically mediocre to say the least.
I don't get this obsession with holding on to him. What is it all about .
He's off field antics when he is supposed. to be injured or not leaves a lot to be desired too. It's like Arsenal are treating like some sort of demi-God . Why?

{Ed002's Note - I am not aware of any interest in him.}

I wouldn't be too upset if he went for the right price but i would be a shame to lose our only real Academy player. And obviously wothout injuroes he could be a monumental player.

I would retain Wilshere, as you need to keep a group of the best homegrown players. The problem we have is that Wilshere, Ramsey, Cazorla and Ozil, all look best in the sole central attacking midfield role. If we don't sell any of this group, it will be interesting to see how Wenger fits all of them in!
I quite like the idea of Xhakka and Elneny, in front of the back four,
With Ramsey, Ozil and Sanchez in the attacking midfield roles. That leaves no place in the top starting line up for Cazorla, Wilshere, Walcott and Ox.
As stated we have many midfield options. I believe we need cover at RB, quality CB and a top notch LB.

RG surely you believe we need a CF as well?! Defo agree on the CB position.

I think selling Wilshere would be a huge mistake. For me, he needs to play along side someone in the holding role. I think he plays best when he sits deeper as it allows him to play with his head up and run with the ball.

He's been unlucky with injuries, but again, he's struggled with all impact injuries and not muscular. Wenger has huge faith in him and I believe he is about to sign a new long term contract. For me, I'd like to see him or Coquelin as future captains - both players that have grown up at Arsenal and you see can it means so much to them to play for Arsenal - apart from Jenkinson, the only other two that play with real passion for he shirt.
