Mbappe . Is who Arsene is trying to get. He probably won't be able to but that's who he is negotiating for behind the closed door.
Mark my words.

1.) 05 Aug 2017 20:42:22
Unlikely, I think if he does move it will be to Spain but who really knows?

2.) 06 Aug 2017 09:56:43
I hear Kylian has been on the treatment table since Friday and Wenger has now decided he'll fit right in at Arsenal.

25 Jun 2017 08:41:29
Alright Ed 01. Seeing as you are up and about. What's the latest serious rumours you have been hearing over the last couple of days mate.

{Ed001's Note - to be honest I have not heard anything new over the last couple of days. We had a blocked pipe and my place was flooded, so I have been spending the last few days just cleaning up between editing. Not had time to chase up any info.}

22 Jun 2017 06:35:25
Ed. All the Mahrez talk has gone a bit dead any reason for that do you know? .

{Ed001's Note - yes, because there is little interest in him right now. Once the window opens and a few moves are made properly, there will, I am sure, be a few clubs looking at him. Right now Arsenal are expecting (hoping?) that Sanchez stays, so are not looking at Mahrez as a potential replacement, which was the plan.}

1.) 22 Jun 2017 06:50:53
Thanks mate.

{Ed001's Note - welcome.}

2.) 23 Jun 2017 10:15:45
Is that a risky position to stick to? If he pushes through a transfer at the last minute and we don't have time to replace him.

10 Jun 2017 09:04:13
After watching the Sweden v France game I was thinking that Lemar looks like a bit of a talent.
I don't know what his story is I know he is at Monaco. But from what I saw from this game I wouldn't be dissapointed to see him at Arsenal if that's his usual type of performance.
What's the story with him Ed? .

{Ed002's Note - Bayern Munich approached Monaco regarding Thomas Lemar after a game where they were scouting another player. They were told he would not be sold but have asked to be kept informed. In similar circumstances, Manchester City scouts reported back on Lemar after scouting the same player as Bayern Munich. Manchester City spoke informally to Monaco who made it clear that it would take a wholly unreasonable amount of money to make them consider an offer. With a number of clubs watching another Monaco player I understand that Atletico, Arsenal, Juventus, PSG, Liverpool and Benfica have also all taken the opportunity to have Lemar watched. Chelsea raised the subject of Lemar during a recent discussion over another player but were told that Monaco are not looking to sell him.}

1.) 11 Jun 2017 05:52:56
That doesn't surprise me because he looks the business.
I've never heard of him before.
You have got to give it to Monaco they do seem to have this knack of finding some really good players.

08 Jun 2017 05:37:43
Ed 02 you ain't going to like this mate sorry.
I know if a player doesn't want to stay there's not a lot you can do and there's no point in trying to force the issue. But Man City! come on haven't we learnt anything?
If Sanchez wants to go let's do our upmost to make sure it's abroad not to a club that's in direct competition in this country.
Maybe Arsenal are. What do I know? . But haven't we been down this road in the past.
Help us out here mate please.

{Ed002's Note - Manchester City and Bayern remain interested. Sanchez is the same as any other player - a transient employee of the club. I would think Bayern may be of more interest to him.}

1.) 09 Jun 2017 02:48:50
If we sell him to City, I'm going to go ape. I'd rather he left as a free agent - he's already been worth his fee and more.

2.) 09 Jun 2017 05:18:03
Well that would be a relief mate. If he is going I hope it's abroad. We don't need him doing his damage in the Premier League next season for a rival club. πŸ‘Ž.

3.) 09 Jun 2017 07:04:28
what if he goes to man city on a free tho. i'd rather see them pay 50million for him. but I hope if he's of he goes to bayern or psg.

{Ed002's Note - PSG have moved on.}

4.) 09 Jun 2017 10:25:26
never said he was going to psg just stating places i'd like him to go. the auba deal for psg is a major coup. sanchez to bayern makes sense all round.

Gary Medel looked awesome for Chile in the World cup qualifiers. Do you think he would suit Arsenal?

1.) 08 Aug 2017 15:26:27
Why would someone thumbs down that comment?
Medel is an awesome player.
Oh yes sorry Sanogo again. Can't help himself. πŸ‘ŽπŸ€‘βœŠοΈ.

2.) 08 Aug 2017 15:54:45
No mate we thumbs down if it's somthing we don't like that's the point of the thumbs if you didn't post nonsense like this you wouldn't get the thumbs down, simple.

3.) 08 Aug 2017 18:12:34
Haha I actually have just seen this and not thumed you down. But there time yet. oops my thumb slipped πŸ‘ŽπŸ»πŸ‘ŽπŸ».

4.) 08 Aug 2017 18:14:25
Please don't take this the wrong way Lanesra but you are attacking the thumbs down to all your posts by getting upset about them in the first place.
You must have noticed that since you first got upset about someone thumbs downing your first post a few weeks back that now every post you put up attracts more and more thumbs down simply because people are having a laugh about something that means absolutely nothing to anyone but you, no one but you us taking it seriously mate, people really are just having a laugh and it's not personal it's just banter and the more upset you get the more attention and thumbs down you will receive, let it go and just keep posting, stop worrying so much about other people mate it really isn't a big deal :-)

5.) 08 Aug 2017 18:14:45
JELFY. Medel is an excellent player. What you talking about. You must be buzzing.

6.) 08 Aug 2017 18:22:28
What thumbs?

7.) 08 Aug 2017 18:36:10
Steve it's strictly on a need to know basis mate, thumbs the word :-)

I don't care what anyone says .
But you have to admit the Ox has been playing great lately. OR is he putting himself in the shop window?

1.) 08 Aug 2017 15:27:41
Another πŸ‘Ž By Sanogo . ✊️.

03 Aug 2017 10:03:12
JELFY. Before you jump down my throat.
I was talking about the Comminity Shield and OK it's on Sunday. Big deal I got the day wrong I said Saturday.
SANOGO. I do apologise to you if you don't agree with my posts. Let us know what you want to hear and we wi try and accommodate you.
EDS. You are heroes seriously πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘.

Yey a new post πŸ™„.

03 Aug 2017 07:04:02
To the question of where we predict we will end up next season.
Well I predicted a squad with names we never really heard of before for next season and mid table I'm afraid.
So far we have Kolasinac on a free that I never heard of. Lacazette I heard of but really just through the rumours that built up since the end of last season. that's as far as we have got up till now.
Mid table! Yeah why not forget Sanchez he can't work miracles on his own all the time. I just don't get Ozil I'm missing something with the hype that surrounds him. So far and let's be fair what we've seen if Lacazette in the friendlies isn't impressive and how long is he going to take to settle
in? . So I'm preparing myself for a rocky ride next season with plenty of moans and groans and Wenger Outs again! .
Horrible thoughts I know.
Best player I've seen so far is Reiss Nelson can we keep hold of him? I wouldn't even put him out on loan I would play him let him develop with us. I hope Wenger plays him on Saturday and our opener against Leicester.

1.) 03 Aug 2017 07:46:14
Shocking and we play Friday not sat.

2.) 03 Aug 2017 08:25:46
Can't know much or watch much football if you don't know the players we brought in neither were unknowns.

3.) 03 Aug 2017 08:28:45
5th again maybe 4th unless we buy more players we ain't got a good enough squad for the bpl title.

4.) 03 Aug 2017 09:01:42
Jelfy we play Saturday in the Charity Shield, aside from that Lansera I don't agree with you.

My post was in jest the other day about Lacazette, anyone who puts weight to an argument after pre season friendlies is a bit daft otherwise Bayern Munich will not be winning the Bundesliga and getting knocked out in the group stages.

Lacazette hasn't been here 5 minutes and Kosalinac looks a great addition in an area we needed to strengthen.

Whilst I believe Sanchez will go I'm not losing my head over it.

There is still over a month left in the window to move players on and bring others in. Everyone bar Sanchez has a bad season and that includes Ozil but he is class.

We will not be struggling to make 6th, we are not mid table or even close.

There is so much negativity around here it has even spread to ed025 but we really are not the utter rubbish a lot have convinced themselveslves and others that we are.

{Ed025's Note - my view is not negative stoner more realistic, city, utd and chelsea have stronger squads and liverpool spurs and possibly everton will be battling arsenal for that 4th spot, liverpool look good to me and would probably be favourites for 4th and that leaves you and us for 5th berth...dont ask me to choose mate.. :)

5.) 03 Aug 2017 09:23:00
Ahh I'd never ask you to chose ed but personally I'm certain we'll be in the top four and that's being realistic, strengthening on paper doesn't always translate to the pitch especially when you are buying many.

Liverpool still look good going forward but not so good at the back. Spurs are standing still. None of United's signings have filled me with dread.

Chelsea need more depth but City will for me be the team to beat. It will be interesting to see how the Toffees do ed with money to spend.

{Ed025's Note - making lots of signings will not automatically make a team sronger in the short term stoner i agree, i guess im just being a bit pessimistic where arsenal are concerned as i dont wast to build up any false hope mate..

6.) 03 Aug 2017 09:29:36
im with eds as it stands battle for 4th. if i'm the board i'm getting two players in min possible three to give us the best chance.

im happy with the two signings but need more.

{Ed025's Note - there is still time derby i suppose but im with you on the need to add more mate, last year was seen as a blip but if it happens again then its a crisis and the top players will want out...and thats a very slippery slope..

7.) 03 Aug 2017 09:31:47
We won't finish lower than 7th or higher than 4th in my opinion
As much as all our problems of the past decade won't suddenly disappear and players who have never been consistently good enough suddenly become capable of challenging Niether will we suddenly become Stoke West Bromwich albino or West ham level.
The big boys have improved and have managers with recent proven track records of success and Spurs were way to strong for us last season and will continue to improve under Poch.
Nothing has dramatically changed at Arsenal on or off the pitch so why will our end result be different?

{Ed025's Note - fair point mate..

8.) 03 Aug 2017 09:35:55
It's not just the teams on paper that have changed Stoner other clubs have managers who demand success and a board and fans that expect them to build a team capable of being competitive.
Everything is different at Arsenal compared to other big clubs.

9.) 03 Aug 2017 11:17:49
gunner I really don't blind myself to our short comings, we are perpetual under achievers for various reasons, I just, after one season outside the top four, don't believe that will now be our lot.

We are much better than that, if we repeat it again this season then I may jump on board the we are pants band wagon but I'm not having that now. We have signed two very good players in positions of weakness with I'm certain more to come.

I'm liking the 3 at the back and Koscielny, Mustafi and Holding will be great back there.

I believe we'll be a minimum of top 3 mate and I'll think we'll have a bloody got go at the Europa too. 😁.

10.) 03 Aug 2017 11:42:38
Law of attraction please try and stay positive guys.

11.) 03 Aug 2017 13:06:21
Fair play to you Stoner I hope your right and I'm wrong mate, but I can't see how anything at Arsenal has changed too much other than we have 2 good editions and are going to lose our biggest asset in the next few weeks.
I just think other clubs have more ambitious steaks running through them and managers who simply have very high expectations of the players and the people who employ them.
At Arsenal it's all become a bit too relaxed and a title bid would be nice but it really isn't essential for us to all carry on as per usual.

12.) 03 Aug 2017 12:34:04
Much respect ed 25, always appreciate your contribution but I think you are too negative on us at the moment. First, if we can just have a normal number of injuries instead of the absurd level of last year, then our depth will match the top 3, for rotations etc and surpass Everton and Spurs. Second we have added some key pieces to help fortify the new formation. And third we were already looking much improved the last half dozen games last year. Count me in on this year ;-)

Prediction, win the Shield, deep runs in Europe and FA cup. And in the mix of a tightly grouped top 3 in the league, with one of the favorites dropping off BC of chemistry or injuries, guessing Chelsea, a battle between Blues and Spurs for 4th would suit me fine and if Everton pips the man both, all the better!

{Ed025's Note - you paint a very rosy picture rooster and i have to say no one would be happier than me mate if that came to pass..

I read this headline today in the Mirror.
' Arsenal stars convinced that Alexis Sanchez wants move away'
Wow! What a scoop. Amazing piece of investigative journalism. Genius.
Are there any reports about anything we don't know?

Undertaker. Something is definitely stirring now mate that's for sure. One minute I'm thinking he's going to see what we bring in first so as to decide what to do. Then on the other hand I'm thinking we are going to buy because he's going. I'm not sure mate.
Would Sanchez, Lacazette, Lemar, work in the same squad? . I don't know. But for me it's always been about who have we got to step into the fold if our top players get injured? . We always look a bit sad went that happens. I think that side of it needs to be addressed pronto.

I think that by now if Theo was going to make his mark it would of happened. I think he makes a great back up and gives the squad some depth. I can't see him improving any other clubs in the PL except that he may be playing more regularly for some. Certainly not the top six.
I don't think Perez has been given enough slack. I thought he loooked a decent player when he turned out.
Back on Wilshires case again. I don't understand this debate over him. What is this year in year out 'Love In'' with Arsenal and Wiltshire? . I just don't get it. Same with Ramsey too.
