Mr Wenger

This is what happens when you spend some money to buy quality, you get quality and it lifts up the whole team. I hope you repent being stubborn stingy person the last so many years but as long as it is lesson learnt for you we will let it slide.

I feel its time the truth was told on this.
Arsene is a very passionate collector of garden gnomes and 7 years ago his prijze gnome was kidnapped.
The gnome nappers were a cruel bunch who forced him to play Almunia in all games and then buy chamack and gevinnio plus other unspeakable things, humiliatingly horrible things like tactics and such were forced upon him.
Well thankfully interpol rescued the gnome in early September and Arsene was once again free to be his brilliants self and do all the right things all the time just as he did before,
I hope this helps to be a little more forgiving and now look forward not back. THE FUTURES BRIGHT THE FUTURE IS ARSENAL

Ashish,

I'm afraid this is the kind of post I'd expect to see from an ignorant Manc or Spud. A fan with no appreciation behind the reasons we have not been able to spend.

The massive strides the club has made during that period and just simply what Mr Wenger has achieved whilst under those constraints.

Hang your head in shame mate. Very very poor post!

He has proved it was not that he did not want to spend, but he did not have that amount to spend.

the emirates plan was 5 years and we can compete with the big boys, but with business nothing goes to plan. 4 years over the time period and we have significant cash.

i still think we are far away from winning even thou we are no1.

the nov schedule looks like it will be testing. not to forget december. and if at the end of that period we are top 4, with a 5-6 game +/- difference we can consider ourselves as being in the title hunt.

however we do need to buy in january, as I expect Manchester United and liverpool and even spurs to be busy.

top 4 has never been so difficult.

4.) 02 Oct 2013
Ashish, I will agree with you on that one mate

5.) 02 Oct 2013
Well said The Gunner

6.) 02 Oct 2013
Lakerville I can't help but feel a lot more loads of more optimistic than you me old mate, I totally respect your view and even understanding it but just can't agree with it this time. I am so looking forward to Nov just can wait . as for who finishes where at the end of the season its much less about how you do against the other top 4 or 5 the counts most come May, its the other 28 games where you don't slip up that really matters . I just want to beat the others for pure enjoyment more than the points

7.) 02 Oct 2013
That should have read "disagree"

8.) 02 Oct 2013
Well gents if we can beat west brom away. feeling optimistic. then I think we could actually put up a real fight.

as wenger said, one game at a time, and I think we should think the same way.

9.) 02 Oct 2013
I'm sure you and the boss are right Lakerville one game at a time is the right and professional way to approach things.

For me it's just that ever since we signed Ozil I am absolutely full of optimism and belief again, like a kid who just found out about Disney world ( and I'm 51 yrs old, )

Although judging by the teams reaction and performances i'm not alone:-) :-) :-)

10.) 02 Oct 2013
Gunner62, that's an awesome explanation :-) Some one must have really turned the screws on him for some of the signings (Silvestre!).

The Gunner, shame on you that you can't handle viewpoints which are not in line with your thinking.

Also Lakerville, 5 year plans do not finish in the 9th year :-) Where are you coming up with these numbers anyway? Heinz sauce?

Ashish,

If you seriously don't understand that well the shame is most definately upon you.

My intention was not to offend.
