Following on from my earlier post.

we have seen a lot of players (I'm not just talking World Cup) get sent off for 2 silly yellow cards ( a slightly mis-timed tackle in first half than kicking ball away 3 yards in 2nd half, for example).

Again, the whole match could be ruined.

Does anybody else think, that perhaps, we could change it to 3 yellows equals a red?.

Jeez, I'm full of great ideas tonight.

Lets hope Sepp Blatter is reading my posts.

I just spoke to Seppuku and he does indeed follow your posts. Thankfully he says your ideas are crap - I happen to agree with him. He says the sin bin is a lousy American idea, and the idea of three yellows equalling a sending off is farcical. Yep you get the odd ridiculous sending off but 90% are right - so don't change a good rule for the exception.

It's just Sepp's thoughts but like I said for once I agree with him.

No need to change rules fro 3 yllow cards but referees do need to be less harsh in certain situations and take into account the conditions more and current context within the game. To me a slightly timed tackle Is just a foul not yellow card I why can't players not tackle from behind which is no more dangerous from tackling from the side or front, if is it not reckless it can still be a genuine attempt to get the ball.

One idea I think just for the silly petulant things like kicking the ball away arguing too much with ref etc. is rather than a yellow card have a 5 Minute sin Bin for such situations and basically keep yellow cards for the bad fouls. You could even use the sin bin for con-acting and diving So sill punishment for the offender and his team mates and will make them thing twice before doing it again, but will take away the chance of someone being shown red for such a silly thing if they already have a yellow.
