What do you all think of the invisible spray that will be used in Prem League?

Personally, I think it's a joke.
I know we all try to take liberties now and than, but surely grown adults can follow a ref's rule, ie "stand 10 yard's away", without the ref having to spray shaving foam all around the pitch to stop them from moving.

I bet player's of yesteryear will be laughing their shin pad's off.

{Ed025's Note - i think its a good idea mate..by your reasoning they should do away with the penalty spot and just guess where 12 yards is!..

Fact is they don't stand behind where they're told. If they did as they were told they wouldn't have to use the spray.

{Ed025's Note - your right CS..

2.) 01 Aug 2014
They might be grown adults but there I doubt there is one footballer who doesn't try a creep forward - and basically cheat

{Ed025's Note - looks like dags is on his own here.."on your own on your own on your own....on your own on your own on your ooooooown".. :)

3.) 01 Aug 2014
Great decision to bring it in, Stops all the arguing about people moving forward!

I hear you Ed but it goes to show how ridiculous thing's are in the modern game.

Im all for winning, its the name of the game, but win at all cost always leaves a bitter taste in my mouth.

I know I'm going off track but the diving, fouling, cheating, simulating and feigning injuries does my head in.

Just my thoughts though Ed.

{Ed025's Note - i agree about all that dags.....but you cant get away from the fact you are the the elephant in the room mate!....your not getting away with it that easy...lol..

I'm all for it but I don't think it's a major problem in the Prem. I think it was introduced in South American leagues initially(or at least devised for those leagues) where it was a much bigger problem.
Either way I don't think it's any harm.

The best that could come of it is further use of technology in the game.

The worst?
Discoloured boots.

I think the spray is one of those simply brilliant ideas, apparently they've used it for years in south america and i'm shocked its took usand FIFA so long to adopt it too.

Lol Ed, I like that.

Mate, I've been "On my own" for ages, ie Loic Remy.

I'm not saying it doesn't work, it was a huge success at WC, but it goes to show the sorry state of the modern game.

Somebody please agree with me. :-)

8.) 01 Aug 2014
Dags I was with u with remy but this one I'm not for instance anyone caught and realy 100 percent caught for proper diving should be sent off, so yes great idea for spray to b used

9.) 01 Aug 2014
Ok Dags I'll agree with you if it makes you happy, you have been on your own for ages.

{Ed025's Note - traitor!..

10.) 01 Aug 2014
Can't agree with you dags.
I'm fed up of Refs bottling decisions like re taking free kicks when the Wall encroaches.
They should spray it in front of the goalkeepers to keep them on their line at penalties too.

12.) 01 Aug 2014

Dags and funny don't go together like spurs and Champs league

{Ed025's Note - im with you andy.. :)
