Why Mbappe?
I don't understand the hype with this kid.
He's already stated he wants to play for Barcelona (Or was it RM) in a few years.

Arsenal are not a stepping stone.

What's he done that's so fantastic that warrants that price.? Look at Pogba as an example Dags. Apart from when he was playing for France last year I wouldn't have been too happy with he's performance in the Premier League. I would say he's on par with lots of similar players in the Premier League. No, I'm with you mate. What I saw of Lemar and in fact I posted on here about him and asked the Eds what his story was as I honestly never heard of him, I would rather have him all day long over Mbappe.

Mbappe terrorized juve's defense and probably would have had 2 goals in the semifinal second leg if it weren't for Buffon. He's the real deal, only really got game time during the second half of the season and he still put up ridiculous numbers - six goals in six champions league appearances. He's 18 year old and he has an incredible maturity about his game already.

That being said I don't think we will be seeing him in an arsenal shirt. Lemar would be a more realistic, and more necessary as of Wednesday. Doesn't look like that will happen either.

{Ed001's Note - the difference is that Mbappe is a world class talent, Lemar is not.}

mbappe no doubt will head to the top, even if he came here for three years and went so what. i'd rather three years with him that not.

carvalho would protect the back four that's for sure, what do people think is the reason he's still at sporting? price? i'm coming round to the idea of him in our team.
