No mention of the Liverpool vs City game ed01? 😉

Also just read all 10 pieces of your write up on Cruyff, brilliant mate, really enjoyed reading it and an apt quote from Lineker. Thanks for taking the time to do it.

{Ed001's Note - I never do the results as they are everywhere. Probably best anyway, as my heart couldn't take reliving it just yet!

Thank you regarding the Cruyff piece, really glad you enjoyed it.}

It was an outstanding performance over both legs by far the best team. Shame pep is whining about the goal that never was. I can understand it maybe if city went out by one goal but the fact is that they were comprehensively beaten Home and away by the better team and tactically out manoeuvred by the better manager over the tie.

Agree Sanogo, brilliant performance over both games, really hope they win it.

Salah's goal was offside in the first leg. And another clear goal disallowed for City as well as a penalty not given, at a time when Liverpool looked so shaky. Could been very different if the refereeing was spot on.

{Ed001's Note - could have been very different, Ederson would have been sent off, for starters. The ref was crap for both sides last night.}

Peole will talk about these two games for years this time next week no one will remember who the ref was.
The fact is the better team over two legs as usual went through.

I honestly never understand could have would have should have. It’s not like there was a goal in it, or even 2 or three lol. City were beaten home and away and convincingly over two legs, van dyke aside city’s bench cost more than Liverpool’s starting 11. Football one last night as did the better team.
