If we don't get the 'top four is ok' mentality out of the heads of our Board and really try to get back to the Invincibles era we could end up like the Scousers or worse, Newcastle. The Geordies have a huge fan base, filll St James' with 50-thousand screaming fans every week and have slipped into the 'mid-league at best' category. If the Board don't pull their fingers out soon and Gazidis the clown doesn't start performing - getting the players we need rather than making moronic statements like winning is not the only objective (pillock!) - we could start slipping. However, i'm an optimist and think that even Ivan the Stupid will realise that a few marquee players need to be brought in this Summer. To spell out for the 'Slow One' - a GK, a CB, and a CM as a minimum please. Or, bring Mr Dein home.
Let's raise the roof off the Hawthorns this weekend; c'mon you Gooners!

ed how can he sign a pre contract the laws state that no1 can sign a pre contract agreement with any club in the same league until the last month of the contract, i am pretty sure that's right! {Ed001's Note - he can't sign anything but he can make a verbal agreement.}

Ive heard from a very good frield of mine that barca are preparing a 70m+Bojan for Fabregas and Wilshire. . Any truth in this ed that you know of?

would be a very good midfield 3 for replacing Xavi and Iniesta when there time comes.
Apparently they see Wilshire as Xavis replacement and Fab for Iniesta.
