I feel sorry for Szczesny - he puts in a blinding performance, made about 5 INCREDIBLE saves and we still go on and lose, we are pathetic.

Metal Gooner

Believable74 Unbelievable6

U shouldn`t call the team u support pathetic just move on and hope we win the next game but szczesny did play very well

Agree0 Disagree4

Don't worry he will be off in the summer and we will have flapianski as back up to Mannone - all is well. Theo, all the best i hope for the sake of your career you get to move in January. I have supported Arsenal now for over 40 years and this is the first time that I want us to lose so that the club will act and get rid of a manager who has not won anything for 7 years and there is no chance of any trophy this season. Listen to the boo's it says it all!

Agree1 Disagree0

Try backing your team or go support anotherone .im sure there is more important things in your life than a football result

Agree0 Disagree0

They are pathetic at the moment and fans have every right to criticise the team they love when they look like a shell of a team and the heritage they are supposed to represent

Sheeny

Agree0 Disagree0

For someone who has supported Arsenal for over 40 year, i can not believe you want them to lose, even if it is for the board to take action and to also say fabianski is going to be back up to mannone next season is nuts, szczesny is our best keeper by far, he has made a few mistakes by the guy is young! its at times like this we need to stand by our team and players and get behind them!

Agree0 Disagree0

Totally agree, the fans are the one's who follow the club in all weathers and all over the country at great expense. This team do not deserve the support it gets. The team are totally pathetic.

Agree0 Disagree0

If ever you have played high level sport you will know that to perform at your best you need to fill relaxed and confident. Any so called supporters that boo'd today haven't a clue about how to raise the standard of an already struggling for confidence team. While there are many things wrong behind the scenes and fans have the right to express their views negatively.....once you are inside that stadium your are a SUPPORTER, which means you support. I don't care what you pay....... If you we're one of those that boo'd today cut out the moaning as you were as responsible for the poor performance as the team and the manager. So take a look at yourself and jus think how well you would do your job if you were shown no encouragement... And dont bring money into it, they are humans who will underperform if they lack confidence. Home support today was a joke..... As is the board!

Agree1 Disagree0

Actually if you know anything about high level sport you'd know that not only are the players paid so much that the fans shouldn't affect them, they are also the most elite athletes on the planet and mental control and ability to get into a high performance mental state and shut out external factors is something again they are paid to do. While there's no doubting the crowd CAN affect a team, it shouldn't. Not to the point where we lose at home. If your logic is so sound then please explain to me the miracle of every away point we get? Simple truth is this team IS pathetic, the crowd has every right to boo at the END of a weak display after CHEERING AND SIGNING ALL GAME, and a true professional works hard to make sure it doesn't happen again, NOT sits there and asks 'please fans be nicer to us at the end of each half because we're rally trying and it's not easy :( ' seriously pass me the sick bag.

If Fergie was our manager every single one them would be dropped. Disgraceful team, they don't deserve the shirt after games like that. And Wenger has done nothing in 7 years to justify his salary either, he's as pathetic as the team he fields.

Agree0 Disagree0

To metal gooner, you've answered your own post by saying 'there's no doubt that the crowd can affect the team'. Most of those who cheered and sang and cheered all game were probably not those who were booing at half time and at the end. Without a doubt the players are struggling for confidence, and my point is the fans will not help them get that back with the attitude that was shown yesterday. Also, it's no miracle that we get points away from home, as our away fans arent booing......do you see the connection? Thanks, you made some very good points that backed up my post, without realising!

Agree0 Disagree0

Actually no - your post implied it does as a rule. I do not doubt it can, but it doesn't to anywhere near the extent you imply. I am sure a person of your literacy can see that's what my post says, and the difference is subtle yet significant. Can a crowd affect a team? factual answer - yes. Should it? And does it as a rule of thumb? no. Otherwise if your theory was right then we'd lose every away game. Big difference. Metal Gooner

Agree0 Disagree0

Metal Gooner, you talk from both sides of your mouth. How do you know what Fergie would do? How do you know what Arsene hasnt done? I read your non sensical ramblings all the time on here. Clearly youre frustrated with the club, but it amazes me that your conclusions are all based on assumptions.

I applaud the club for being supportive of Arsene because unless we know all the facts its premature and arrogant to assume he is at the core of your presumed failures!

Gunners4Life, In AW I trust!

Agree0 Disagree0

The big difference metal gooner is that away fans don't boo arsenal players! You wouldnt like it the other way round if the arsenal players slated the fans for not singing and creating a better atmosphere...... My final point is.....if you want a better performance, you and many of the other home fans need to SUPPORT and cheer at every opportunity to raise the standard and confidence levels of each arsenal player on that pitch. If you fail to do that then in my opinion you don't have an opinion worth listening too. #takealookinthemirror

Agree0 Disagree0

I was at the emirates on Saturday and sang all through the game to try and encourage the team however I did boo at both half time and full time (i did stay to the end). My frustration was at the players for not working hard enough, the management for not motivating them enough and the board for not investing in the team. What am I meant to do to show my frustrations politely clap them off? The players, mangement and board earn a kings ransom and this year have consistently failed to deliver. I will always support during the game and some days you lose some days you win but I will not tolerate a lack of effort. Skinny

I'm one of wengers biggest supporters but I wish sometimes he would explain the selection decisions

I'm struggling to pick a good performance today, ashamed of the fans booing not sure at half time that inspires the players

The biggest problem today is that we are nothing but predictable

Not even sure we have any players that want to stand up and be counted michu's second goal was a shambles on defending although I'll reserve my opinion but guess he'll do nothing to address it

Villa game summed things up for me waiting for the coach to arrive turned up at 4:36pm wtf is that about and not even an acknowledgement of the fans

I hate too say it but its too much about money these days I get more enjoyment watching my lad play on a Saturday morning

I think we are badly out of confidence and its not one or two it's the whole team and I use that term team loosely

Very depressed gooner

Believable44 Unbelievable2

Fans have had enough and if you pay well over 50.00 to attend a game then you are entitled to show your feelings. This team is pathetic and for the sake of our club, please Wenger do the decent thing and go NOW!!

What I mean is end of the game booing fair enough no one has to tell me about ticket prices I travel home and away

It was half time booing that I think does the damage, we don't have the mental strength of the past

Agree0 Disagree0

Anybody with the slightest knowledge of football would be astonished to see Gervinho play instead of Giroud. What the hell is going on - Gervinho is total crap!

Any thoughts on Arsenal having a look at Lallana fron Southampton? Just a thought

Believable10 Unbelievable32

Since I seen him this season, HELL YES! Would make an excellent squad player. Very tricky customer, gets in great positions and rarely males the wrong pass.

Wonder of Southampton would be interested in Ramsey plus cash?

StEvE

Agree0 Disagree0

Personally i think the would more likely go for Squillaci and cash?

Agree0 Disagree0

Any thoughts on looking for a whole squad, board and manager while your there.

Agree0 Disagree0

Lallana wouldn't leave Southampton, he's been there since he was 12, too much love for the club, at Southampton he is the captain and he's aregualr starter, I don't think he'd want to move to a club that would hardly ever play him.

Agree0 Disagree0

If We r looking at them class of players then We really are not looking at champions league ambitions would man u city or even tottenham b ? Get hunter in and marquee signing fellani

Agree0 Disagree0

It's ideas of us looking at avergae players who perform well at poor clubs is what will put Arsenal in further trouble ! Right now we have Denilson, Djourou, Chamakh, Ramsey, Park, Gervinho, Santos, Squillaci belonging to Arsenal in as players. These players are not good enough for A Premier League wining side and would undoubtedly not get into Man United, Chelsea or Man City's starting 11. Why do we have low talented hard workers are we trying to emulate a mid table side with hard wark and average players. We need a Hunterlaar/Jerome Boeteng/Pato, Willian, Sneijder, Isco, Gotze, M'Vila, Ben Arfa/Robben, Mario Gomez
