heard the henry deal may fall through.

Believable4 Unbelievable14

It's a BS Twitter rumour b/c the Insurance hasn't been done yet... There's nothing concrete in it, whatsoever.

=Miss Arsenal.

Agree6 Disagree2

I read that the problem was Henry's new york return date.Apparently AW wants him to stay for the spuds match on 26th feb but NY want him back on 20th i guess only time will tell.

the longer arsenal take to sort out the henry deal, the less time they are going to get out of an already short '2 months' loan. Honestly, I'd love to know who actually does the transfer deals for AFC, because he should be replaced with someone more prudent

Believable18 Unbelievable2

The Henry deal has to be done by midday tomorrow(6th),if not he won't be elligable for the Leeds game.

Agree7 Disagree0

Everyone does appreciate that this has been only been the 3rd day of the transfer window and insurance documentation is far more complicated than a standard insurance contract.

It requires Arsenal to go to several insurance providers to get coverage - each of whom have there own internal processes.

Timeline for this is NOT driven by Arsenal, so please be less cynical.

Billybob452

Agree3 Disagree4

Though i share your thought about replacing the transfer dudes for AFC, this time around it seems the problem is in the NY red bull team not doing there part.

AM

Agree1 Disagree2

Just read that the deal has stalled over a thigh injury henry picked up in training. arsenal is waiting to see how serious it is before deciding to go through with the loan

Agree0 Disagree3

How did Everton get Donovan done then? Unless they lined him up and got it sorted weeks ago? At the end of the day, Arsene knew the second Henry was back at training that he wanted to bring him back to the Emirates, in fact I think he knew after the Emirates Cup. There is no excuse whatsoever, this should have been and could have been wrapped up ages ago. It isn't as thought the club doesn't know insurance takes time. Weak.

Raz

Agree6 Disagree0

"Just read that the deal has stalled over a thigh injury henry picked up in training"

This is a stupid Twitter rumour without any basis or foundation whatsoever; based on the delay of the signing...

The other one doing the rounds is that NYRB are p!$sed off at Arsenal and don't want the transfer going ahead.

Arsenal are competing with Everton for VVV Venlo's Ahmed Musa.

Believable3 Unbelievable8

I hope not... he's the most one-footed player i've ever seen and a carbon copy of gervinho
AG

Agree5 Disagree1

Even more one-footed than Ramsey?!
Raz

Agree6 Disagree3

Talking about ramsey...the case of ramsey, just like eduardo makes me really sad. both just dont look like the same players after their injuries. i watch some old clips and old match compilations on youtube of them.

eduardo was amazing, the best finisher ive ever seen at arsenal and ramsey looked a lot lighter and sharper, he was really agile and he was skipping past players with ease, his decision making was so much quicker, almost every pass was a forward one...now hes like a rich mans denilson.

and well eduardo, i dont think hes up to too much other then shaktars bench perhaps. :(

i guess the question is can ramsey come back to his best and become a great player for us? i guess only time will time, but other then that chelsea game where he was exceptional, he's been poor this season. i feel for him.

i feel he will follow in eduardos step of "what could have been?" i really really hope im wrong though :/

Agree4 Disagree4

My friend Ramsey is still young, but his future position was always a deep lying playmaker and Wilshere as Iniesta type of player. Ramsey doesn't need to have a great deal of pace for that role. Ramsey has a magnificent engine already and he hasn't hit his peak yet. His passing will only get better when Wilshere is back. Believe, Wilshere actually brings the best out of everyone, everyone can remember Chamakh scoring goals well quite a few were the pass of wilshere. He makes the team tick. People say when we Lost cesc we lost any future success. I strongly disagree, we have Wilshere. This kid bleeds Arsenal and with him fit for both milan + league we will be fine this season.

Agree4 Disagree1

...it feels like both eduardo and ramsey are haunted with the injuries..from a few times i have seen eduardo play for shaktar he has looked better then his days at the emirates after the injury..

Imagine this...

Podolski......Van Persie......Henry

Just until Gervinho returns from the Africa cup of nations. Could be realistic and this forward line up would bang in some much needed goals.

BU

Believable14 Unbelievable8

Awesome, but Podolski doesn't seem likely.

Agree11 Disagree5

The Dream Died At Henry.

Agree0 Disagree9

Am I the only one who is being realistic about Henry. You want him ahead of theo!

Please arsenal fans don't give Henry te limelight. RVP is are star and deserves to be. Henry WAS our star and left a long time ago now...

Agree5 Disagree1

Henry at his age isn't going to be able to play on the wing. He can't make it back to defend for a whole game. Likly he will play up front on his own or he will come on as a sub.

Agree2 Disagree1

Neither can Walcott though... Walcott still plays like he is in the park with his mates, running around like a headless chicken.. Henry has style, and is still one of the best finishers around, 2 months aint a bad deal.. people thought United were wrong when they did the same with larsson and it worked a treat. If it was upto me Walcott would be sold!! YEAR OF THE OX!

The strikers/forwards we are looking at (not neccesarily going to buy) are: Podolski, Suarez (from Anderlecht that is), Sow and Hunterlaar, maybe some others.

I think the most likely of these is Suarez, as we have good connections with Anderlecht and we would like to make a move up to a bigger league, he is 23 and has scored 14 goals in the Belgian league, typical Wenger signing! Sow is a possibility, and more likely to come than Hazard, as Lille won't let us get Sow, Hazard and Gervinho in the space of a year, plus Madrid is the more likely destination for Hazard. Podolski is a possible, depending if we stump up the money, and Colgone are willing to sell, I am sure Podolski's head will be turned. Hunterlaar, I am sorry but I do not want to see him in an Arsenal jersey this January.

Henry will probably be back once all the paperwork has been ironed out, lets face it, when have you known Arsenal to do a quick transfer?

Believable8 Unbelievable0

I would dearly love to see huntalaar in an arsenal jersey. he can be lethal

come on all these rumours about hazard to arsenal Are being posted by spurs fans.
So ignore it and agree with them so they feel a sense of pride for a while they want to make us look like fools . I like the banter but if you are a spurs fan admit it not"believe me because I am a fellow gooner".
1732

Believable5 Unbelievable3

You're probably right mate. But the reason that we don't just laugh out loud at the prospect of signing a great player is that Arsenal have a fantastic history (unlike Spurs) as a football playing club winning the league countless times - far more than any London club...

"Arsenal have tried, and they did speak to him [Podolski]," confirmed Honigstein to talkSPORT. "They might try again with a slightly increased offer.
"[But] Cologne really don't want to sell, and unless you're talking crazy money - around €20million, it's not going to happen."

Believable8 Unbelievable4

He is the same guy who said Reus is off to bayern in summer. he talks so much nonsense

Agree2 Disagree2

Slightly increased offer? what to £27.50!
as if arsenal will sign another has been, after henry. Two has beens would be to good to be true.6th place at best for the pikeys. ha ha ha!!!!!!

Agree1 Disagree10

I wouldn't expect us to have to pay any less than that for Podolski haha, what is the world coming to? As for Talksport - this interview probably never happened.

To be quite honest, if we aren't prepare to offer 20m+ for Podolski then we will never sign him.

Raz

Agree3 Disagree3

Him saying its not going to happen is probably just a smoke screen for Arsene Wengers transfer tactics (c) Deluded people on this site

Agree3 Disagree1

20m euros is about £17m so not exactly pauing over the odds is it

Paddy

Agree4 Disagree0

20m Is about £16.5m - Crazy money? Think not... Some of the money will go to Sponsors who own rights so it would prob' be more around £20m. Considering we paid £15m for AA23 it's not crazy at all.

=Miss Arsenal.

Agree9 Disagree1

Podolski will never happen, only reason people bang on about him is because Sky sports / BBC newsreel hasn't mentioned anybody else.

Lol come on people we can all read BBC/Sky come up with better rumours!

From Irish Gooner, no some one at Irish times and he says Podolski, and neil taylor are Gunners targets , Hazard going to Real madrid. Wenger will buy Gourcuff, and Vargas in Summer.

Believable0 Unbelievable9

The bloke at Irish Times, isn't really saying anything that isn't known worldwide already RE: Pod & Taylor.

=Miss Arsenal.

Agree5 Disagree0

Still think we could really do with an attacking mid though in addition to podolski and taylor

ibster

Agree3 Disagree0

Gourcuff not on his way to the Gunners, club don't want to let him go

Agree2 Disagree4

With wilshere coming back and ramsey playing that attacking role we definitely dont need an attacking midfielder this january.... january transfers rarely throw up big signings (other than last year) because who wants to lose their best players half way through a season? i hope we get people as much as the next arsenal fan but remember if wenger does feel pressured to buy this window and over spends on underrated players then we'll probably end up getting NO-ONE in the summer.... when have you ever seen wenger make lots of big signings in a year?

id rather see ox play more games + sell theo in summer, if we could get leighton baines that would be a dream but obviously we wont so just a quick defensive loan and then in the summer... vargas, hazard (fingers crossed) and possibly gourcuff or someone similar!

Vermaelen's yellow card from the qpr match has been transferred to koscielny

does this mean that he is banned for the next match?

-batch

Believable1 Unbelievable4

The reports says that kos got 4 yellow before the yr end and so it doesnt carries to the next yr(2012);so he starts with a clean slate,as also with arteta who had 4 yellow in the last yr(arsenal+everton)

Agree2 Disagree0

Kos isn't on 5 is he? Or do you mean does this mean is Verminator banned?
Raz

Agree1 Disagree0

No Kos is on 5 but because the match started in 2012 he now has to get 10 red cards which results in a 2 match ban.

Ie Vermealen has lost a yellow and Kos now has 5. Noone is banned (part from Djourou for 1 game).

BREAKING NEWS

Arsenal have been given permission to speak with two players over deals to the Emirates. One permanent, one temporary. My source is extremely well connected to Arsenal and Im sure you can all appreciate I am not in a position to reveal names. Just trust me as a fellow fan.

Permanent deal has been agreed with Eden Hazard. I can't tell you the fee just now but i'm told it will smash the club record. Whether Hazard accepts a move or holds out for Madrid remains to be seen. Expect this one to drag out throughout the window.

Second deal is not a surprising one. We are in for Wayne Bridge on a loan deal until the end of the season. Expect this one to be wrapped up in the next few days as Wenger wants to conclude the deal before someone seals him on a permanent move.

Like I said, the proposed deals have been agreed with the clubs, it is now up to the players to decide.

The good news is that we will be bulking up the squad and finally spending a bit of cash.

Max

Believable18 Unbelievable19

STOP WITH THE HAZARD RUBBISH, it depresses me even thinking about it, we have the cash but we wont spend it, it will not in a million years happen this month... If your sources were so good in fairness would you not be consistantly liaising with Media organisations for profit cause in fairness you dont seem to be shy about posting them?

Rob G

belfastgooner

Why sign WB on loan with his reported £90k per week wage bill, when we can loan Cissikho at a lot less and he's a better player.

Agree9 Disagree2

Oh you fool stop with Bridge rumours. He is not coming! Hazard would be awesome but with Wenger and our board wont happen

Agree8 Disagree4

I simply love these rumours!

and i wouldn't be suprised to see hazard coming. he's not overrated, the best player of the ligue 1 last year. meaning he beat remy, ayew and all these m'vila's and martin's you've been talking about. i've seen him play and he certainly is the player who will skin anybody and any team at once. something we badly need! also his finishing is good, he can link up with gervinho, he provides assists... he's just perfect!

remember he said a couple months ago he's ready to move on etc. so a move this jan may not be as ridiculous as it may sound at first!

iceman

Agree5 Disagree3

Wayne Bridge is off to either Wolves, or QPR.

Eden Hazard hasn't even been discussed by Arsenal's representatives at this point in time. As we're focusing on Lukasz Podolski albeit still keeping tabs on Hazard.

=Miss Arsenal.

Agree7 Disagree5

Hazard is simply world class and Arsenal are simply not. How can you honestly believe a player of his ability is going to join Arsenal in the current moment of uncertainty. Sure you are still in the Champions League, have a great stadium capacity, excellent consistency for the last decade, but hand on heart you know that the bubble has burst.

You remind me of when Tottenham were in trouble and brought Klinsmann back to fight for survival. The transfer greed over the last 15 years has seen a massive migration of talent out and whilst Wenger has done a remarkable with a few low cost players, the wheels have suddenly come off.

I agree some players forced the club to allow them to leave, but the proceeds from Fabregas, Clichy and Nasri were wasted on panic buys like Chamakh, Gervinho, Oxlaide Chemberlain, Santos, Koscielny and Mertesaker. If you had not dithered and acted more decisively you could have signed Skeltenburg, Samba, Charlie Adam, Parker, Saurez and Kompany who was out of favour when you sold Nasri and could have been a little bonus to the deal. Instead of conceding 28 goals like West Brom have, you would be challenging for the title.

With Skeltenburg between the sticks, Samba alongside Vermaelen or Kompany, Parker the Steel in the middle and Suarez with Van Persie the season would have looked so different.

Anyway back to the current matters, Arsenal have to sign big. The issue is everyone knows they are now an outsider for the Champions league spots. Man City and Man Utd will dominate with Spurs and Chelsea will always buy themselves 4th. Newcastle are hanging on and Liverpool must be a threat for Arsenal for 5th, 6th and 7th. I personally think the season will end with Liverpool just pipping you for 5th leaving you in 6th and Newcastle 7th.

Hazard will not sign for Arsenal, neither will Tevez, Kaka or any other fantasy people want to dream up. Time to focus on steel and ensure the January boat doesn't leave before you get on board. I fear your past exploits will provide a false sense of security, and there is a real danger you could shoot for targets too high and miss them all.

If the board don't plug the gap fast you will fail to win anything again, find yourselves in a massive stadium with a growing number of red seats, and them the financial of no Champions League football will turn the boardroom screws. If that happens expect Van Persie to be cashed and the lights to go out! There is still time for Arsenal to make it all happen, but this must be worrying times at the Emirates.

The Oracle

Agree9 Disagree10

=Miss Arsenal, why do you think you're so right and everyone else is wrong? Podolski himself has come out and said he is not joining us so why do you persist with this rubbish?

I hope you're telling the truth :)

Agree0 Disagree4

The reply above is so god damm retarded its untrue i never reply on here but.... you rate samba over kos are you brain dead or just have never watch a footy game in your life? you also list chamakh as a panic buy when he was free and you say we should of got a new keeper when we have one of the best in the league right now....

Anyway back to the BS from the first post why is it everyone goes on and on about Hazard he is so over rated its untrue to many people here play footy manger or something... i mean its just what we need right now another winger ? oh wait no we dont!!

Agree7 Disagree1

I thought you'd given up trying to be intelligent Oracle?
Raz

Agree7 Disagree0

"=Miss Arsenal, why do you think you're so right and everyone else is wrong? Podolski himself has come out and said he is not joining us so why do you persist with this rubbish?"

Because NO HE DIDN'T maybe? lol. The Guardian said he said it. Yet 24hrs prior PODOLSKI HIMSELF said on Sky Sports Germany that he wants to come to England and play with AFC his preferred choice.

He also said he felt the rift w/ Koln chairman was going to cause him European problems. - Yet The Guardian have apparently either legitimately misunderstood his words or decided to make up their own story.

Also Wayne Bridge is more suited to either QPR/Wolves and they're the more likely suitors for him...?

Please tell me that "The Oracle" isn't calling Charlie Adam a good player

that stuff makes me laugh

Agree6 Disagree0

The Oracle is a joke, even his own page think so. Sorry but if you call yourself The Oracle then you better write damn good posts or not bother. All your posts seem to be full of wishy washy holier-than-thou BS, most of your info is wrong anyway, and you often make points that nobody needs to hear e.g. Arsenal may sign someone this January, if so it could be a striker but maybe not til the summer, or i ould be a LB...i.e. meaningless cr4p. Sorry if that sounds harsh to those who are not familiar with The Oracle but I am and he/she never knows wtf they are talking about.

P.s. It's STEKELENBURG, not Skeltenburg. Chamakh we didn't pay for, Koscielny is outstanding, Mert has brought calmness to the defence despite his weaknesses, Santos is miles better than Assour-Ekotto, Charlie Adam is sh!t, we never would have had Kompany despite your random musings, we didn't need Parker, Suarez is a **** who can't find the target.....

In fact, the only sensible thing you've put it that we could have had Samba.

Doesn't mean you aren't absolutely full of turd though.

Raz

Agree7 Disagree0

Lol the oracle, you chat the most s**t. i only read one as well haha...kompany was out of favour in the summer was he mate?

Agree5 Disagree0

The Chelsea Cahill deal was never on. This is just AVB helping an old mate drive up the price of a player destined to leave for free if they don't sell. Couple this game with the typical press speculation and you have a deal that is stalling as planned. Spurs will sign Cahill for a reasonable fee and salary. The only qUestion is whether the player and agent are trying to sabotage any deals intentionally driving up their bargaining powers for the summer. This seems very unlikely as well as risky and I expect the planed Spurs switch to finalise in this window.{Ed001's Note - ha you are deluded, Chelsea want Cahill, there is no attempt to drive up the price at all from Chelsea. This is Bolton trying to get the best possible deal they can get, as is their right. Even City gave up on trying to sign Cahill because of Bolton messing them about so much in the summer, it is only to be expected it won't be an easy deal to conclude.}
------------
1. Cahill - Chelsea what have you done ? Tried to force him upon Spurs for a massive fee and wage and Harry has left you with a right mess. No intention of signing the player and now playing the old personal terms card. I have to laugh but when you have finished your little game, expect Spurs to clear up your mess and sign him.

Is it just me or do your points contradict each other even your spurs mates disagree with you!

Agree0 Disagree3

Damiao* not Doumbia
Raz

Agree0 Disagree0

This Oracle guy is a joke, lets go through his so called "panic buys" shall we...

Chamakh - awful signing, but he was not a panic buy, we tried to sign him the year before and he was free.
Gervinho - not a panic buy clearly, we bought him before fab and nas left. great signing, everyone will be eating humble pie just like with kos.
Oxlaide Chemberlain - panic buy? lol
Santos - great signing, massive blow that hes injured. was recommend personally to wenger by gus hiddink. really underrated player who was improving in every game to the point where he was becoming dare i say it "solid". before his injury he made more successful tackles per game then any other defender in the league. his fitness is his only problem.
Koscielny - haha theres a reason why hes called "bosscielny" or "koss the boss" hes close to world class and our best defender.
Mertesaker - another great signing. whos brought calm, leadership and presence to our defence. theres a reason why weve conceaded the least amount of goals from freekicks and its him and hes argubably not even first choice when everyone is fit. hes not perfect, he is really slow, but its his first season in a new league and hes doing really well.

stop believing what the media tell you, the only bad signing out of those is chamakh but this is ofc just my opinion.

now lets go through the signings he recommended shall we...

Skeltenburg - why would we sign him when we have younger better keeper already in goal? to sit on the bench maybe? bizarre.
Samba - not better then kos or verms, so whats the point? arguably not even better then per. would he come here to sit on the bench?
Charlie Adam - LOL awful player
Parker - average over hyped limited player, we have song whos 10x the player he is in his position.
Saurez - hes a striker no? we play one upfront, if we were to change our system to two upfront then i'd maybe have him. can he play on the wings? i dont think so. also he is a bit overrated tbh, his goal to games/shots ratio is awful and people moan about gervinho! suarez is the same. talented player, cant finish.
Kompany - no chance. he wasnt out of favour at all. where the hell have you been? he was one of their most important player for them last season, in fact other then hart, he played the most games for them.

it shows how much you know about arsenals current predicament that you haven't recommended any attacking midfielders/wingers or full backs. basically oracle mate, you chat s**t.

Raz

Agree2 Disagree0

People don't seem to understand that when you loan a player you are not automatically paying 100% of their wages, in fact it is rarely the case. We would not pay Wayne Bridges £90,000 wage but a mere percentage of it. As for him coming on loan I think it would definitely be a good thing, he was a world class left back at Southampton and Chelsea but had injury problems, he has a huge amount of premiership experience and is not by any means a bad player as some people seem to think. As for Hazard I really could not say whether he would come or not, obviously it would be a great singing as he is quickly becoming one of the greatest players in the world but unless we adapt him in a trequartista role almost as a secondary striker I don't think another winger/ attacking mid is what we need. My vote would go fully to getting Podolski and Bridge, Hazard is preferred to either I guess but unrealistic at the same time.

W12Gooner

Arsenal will not be singing a striker on a permanent basis as you all wish.

You're forgetting we have Wellington Silva and Joel Campbell both out on loan at the moment. With Campbell playing very well.

The plan is to bring them both back at the end of the season and integrtate them into the first team squad.

Not what you want to hear i know but thats whats happening so please stop all this striker nonsense.

Believable5 Unbelievable5

Campbell is not playing well, i Dont know where you have heard this, he has only scored 2 in 14 and form what i have seen he looks average (at the moment) at best.... As for Wellington Silva i wouldn't hold my breath, hes a trouble maker who may end up never getting a VISA... Plus his attitude is appalling and apparently this is why he was sent back he has been disciplined for staying up late on Facebook, partying etc.

Agree1 Disagree1

We have Afobe who is English and has rperesent England U 17-21 as a striker. He is coming back this month.

Agree6 Disagree0

^^ I disagree about Campbell, no young striker ever scores loads of goals whilst loaned out, especially considering atleast 10 of those appearances were coming off the bench after half time

I think hes a cracking player, will deffo be one for the future along with Afobe

Ivan Gazidis is in France negotiating the purchase of none other than Eden Hazard. This has come from an extremely reliable source. Abu Diaby will be going on loan to Lille for the remainder of the season, as part of the deal.
Whilst Neil Taylor from Swansea is being lined up for the left-back position on a permanent basis.
These along with the loan signing of Henry are the only signings.
Squilacci, Arshavin & Chamakh are available, if accecptable offers arise.

Believable10 Unbelievable7

I would love this to happen. Are your sources really trustworthy?

This would not surprise me as Arsene has not mentioned Hazard for a while, talking about goetze, Reuse and podolski using them maybe as a smoke screen to nip in and grab Hazard? Just my thoughts don't shoot!!

Can't see Hazard going to Arsenal, until he is sure we have CL football next season. Also it is rumoured that Lille have slapped a £43 million price on his head.I think he'll wait till the end of the season, and see if one of the big boys take an interest.
Unfortunately there is no reason for him to leave before the end of the season.

Agree0 Disagree0

This has come from a serious source. Dont forget Arsenal came very close to signing Hazard last summer & have the funds available. This signing, along with the loan signing of Henry will provide a major boost to club in the pursuit of a top four finish.

Agree4 Disagree0

Gazidis brokering the deal? Well then theres no chance!

Agree5 Disagree0

The only thing gazidis can negotiate is how much money he will get in his bank at the end of the month!

Imo I'd rather get rid of Gazidis than arshavin/chamakh or even Squillaci!
Am I right or... Am I right?

I agree with 1732

Oh no, hear Gazidis and negotiating in the same sentence cant be right!

Wenger recently stated that he was only looking for cover for Gervinho & Chamakh. With Henry on the way, I believe he will be looking for a player on a premanent basis, who can cover RVP & Gervinho.
In addition, a left-back could possibly be signed on loan, as Santos is unlikely to be back until April.
He may well sign a permanent left-back, if the right player becomes available, as he can play either Santos or Gibbs further forward.
Any suggestions who the left back & striker will be?

Believable9 Unbelievable1

For the striker position - Podolski
For the LB pos - Taiwo or Cissoko on loan

Adam Maher - the guy Arsenal are being linked with looks class

Believable3 Unbelievable2

But i don't see this happening cause we have our own Ozyakup.

Agree0 Disagree3

We dont need another unproven player. We need experienced world class players.

Agree8 Disagree1

He looks like a class act and would greatly benefit arsenal.
However we all know how arsene works, any player who does get all the rumours as this guy has is unlikely to come to arsenal

Batch

Agree3 Disagree0

He's not unproven he the reason az are top of the Dutch league is a genuine class act would be a much better signing than most wengers brought in the last few years better than Walcott and gervinho put together

Agree3 Disagree0

I actually really don't care if we sign strikers who are 'unproven' as long as they are quality. No striker becomes world class just by waking up, someone has to sign them and play them. Abdellaoue looks like a wicked striker, so did Ruiz, so does this guy.
Raz

Agree4 Disagree0

Maher no better than the 'Ox'

Agree3 Disagree0

He's actually a great player. which is why milan, ourselves, man city and barca all have tabs on him.

Agree0 Disagree0

Looks quality (don't be deceived by the first two deflections ;))

No use asking me mate I come here for the info ha ha!
But from what I've heard it's absolute bull shizzle.

Ivan Gazidis seen this evening in Saint Exupéry Airport. Wonder if he is going to negoiate for Gourcuff or Cissokho? {Ed002's Note - I love this stuff.}

Believable5 Unbelievable3

I like this stuff too makes it interesting. However as far as I'm concerned that snakey little b4stard can stay out there, I hate his guts.
Raz

Or maybe you just searched the name of a French Airport on Google and just for your own personal fulfilment you say " I know i will go out and put this on the arsenal rumours website just to piss us of

P.s which evening? He was either seen last night, or will be seen this evening, in which case this is horse dung. Why am I even responding?!

Lille striker Moussa Sow is still attracting interest from Arsenal and Tottenham, it has been claimed.

According to talkSPORT, Arsenal and Spurs have both made contact regarding the £20 million-rated hotshot, although Lille are desperate to retain his services this month.
The Ligue 1 champions, though, could be persuaded to sell Sow during the summer, and both Arsenal and Spurs have been tipped to follow up their interest then.

Believable6 Unbelievable1

Apparently Arsenal target Moussa Sow is set to join Fenerbache for 12m Euros (about 10m). If this is true, I'm surprised no good English club has gone for him, however I do not see where he would fit in in 4-3-3 with RVP in our team and the ACON coming up, but for just a great goalscorer 10m is very cheap. Any thoughts?

Colney Bandit

Agree2 Disagree2

This seems the most realistic target for Arsenal, although I think we can get him for less than £20mln.

In an ideal world, we would send park and chamakh the other way. ;)
For tottenham, I have to believe their first target would be the signing of Adebayor.

Anyone seen this Maher kid play? How'd he do for us? Where would he play...more importantly would he play this season or is he one for the future?

Thanks in advance....

Having watched a 30 second clip on youtube would say he's definately a right winger - looks to have very good control and flair ... we should buy him and shaqiri and sell walcott and arshavin
AG

CM/AM in the Fabregas mood. But quicker, and more skillful. Great great talent. Next big thing in Netherlands

Agree2 Disagree3

Watched him play about Six matches and alot of highlights from games this season and the boys absolute class he would definately play this season far superior to Walcott and gervinho and will only get better and is also a great goalscorer which we could defo do with at arsenal think he can play on either wing to if my memory serves me right

Gunner 14

Agree2 Disagree0

Younggunsblog saying he is more a Fabregas but he is damn fast. Would even sell Walcott and buy Shaqiri and Maher. Or my dream Hazard

Thanks a bunch guys. Clarifies things and excites me when fellow Gooners are this pumped about a prospect.

I def love Dutch playmakers...

"Arsenal are being linked with a January raid on Dutch playmaker Adam Maher.
The 18-year-old AZ Alkmaar player has been earning rave reviews in his homeland, with his form at the AFAS Stadium alerting a number of clubs across Europe, including Manchester City.
However, The Times reports that Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has taken an interest in the talented teenager, and is keen to bring the youngster to north London in the transfer window.
After featuring in every league game so far this season, Maher has helped propel unfancied AZ to the top of the Eredivisie, and is contracted with the club until 2015. With Europa League commitments too, Gertjan Verbeek is unlikely to want to sell the player at any price, although a lucrative offer could persuade the Dutch outfit to cash-in on the player and sell to Arsenal.
TalkSPORT go on to suggest that the player is of a similar ilk to Cesc Fabregas, who joined the Gunners at a young age before going on to become club captain at the Emirates Stadium. He was sold back to Barcelona this summer for a massive profit."
