Berba to join in the next 48 hours, had a tea party with AW. He is highly rated, able to play in CL, won the golden boot in PL, great passing and finishing skills, 8 years of PL experience, will play on 110% against our biggest rivals MU and Tottenham and the price is 2-3 M pounds. I call that better deal than Flamini.
1.) We'd be lucky to get 20% out of Berba.
2.) I think it would be a great signing. We need back up for Giroud. The problem is that realistically he can only replace Giroud & not as a wide attacking player. Also, we have Bendtner & Sanogo fit next week. Hence, I doube we will sign him or anyone else.
3.) Sounds like a really good deal take Draxler in the summer with the team we have at the moment Berba will shine again as he will acknowledge the skill around him as equals and perform accordingly.
4.) Berba is a player who always looks lazy as he drifts around - BUT every time a cross is ready to go in he's in the box and generally unmarked. He's like a ninja and nobody seems to pick him up. More than happy to have him as cover
5.) Is there any chance it could be a loan with a loan fee of 1m for 6 months. Very steep I know, but worth it because:
A) He is perfect for what we need this season. Somebody to come on for the last 20 minutes and replace Giroud. He would be a threat and give Giroud a rest.
B) He is not what we need next season. We need a Cavani or somebody of his level. If not, somebody close.
6.) I remember a game few years ago, MU were playing in the champions league. They took out the statistics at the end of the game and the person who cover the greatest distance was Dimitar. You couldn't really notice this during the game, but he cover more that 13 km in that game. Football is not only running from the box to the other box. You have to keep your stamina. Try to observe Ronaldo, he does almost the same thing.

Hi Ed, any truth about the possibility of Berbatov joining Arsenal for 2-3m pounds from Fulham? Few years ago he was rated at +30m pounds by SAF.

FC Barcelona received one year ban on the transfer market, I don't see Pedro coming to us.
Cavani is looking for a new club out of France. If he agrees on a lower wages, he could sign for us.
Khedira and Ozil are very good friends. If he agrees on a lower wages, he could sign for us.
Hummels is not happy at Dortmund. If Ozil and Mertesacker have a talk with him, he could sign for us.
Reus is the same case as Hummels, but I don't see him, joining us.
Cech is looking for new club where he can play in the first team. I don't see him joining us.

I also saw Vermaelen at the airport and he asked about the flavour chocolate I was eating. He found out that I was a Liverpool fan and told me that Mignolet had texted him and said that we'd be signing a gooner before the window closed, and there wad also a winky facr. To give me a clue of who it was, he said that they LOVE lollipops. Idk who that is but just sharing.

This will be very bad move to let KOs leave and Bring Benzema. We have Giroud, Walcott, Sanchez and Welbeck. Do we need another Striker? The only valuable option for this swap is to replace Kos only with Matt Hummels.
