Eds, I was wondering if you had heard any more rumblings about gotze? After his comments yesterday I imagine there HAS to be some intrigue. Any chance wenger would make an offer? Seems like quintessential wenger signing.
{Ed002's Note - Bayern Munich offered Goetze as part of a deal for Gundogan but nothing came of it and they expect him to stay, but there have been issues caused by his agent. I am not aware of any approach by ARsenal.}

Hearing reports that a bid for busquets has been officially lodged somewhere around £24mill and a breakthrough in the benzema saga. Supposedly a £40mill bid will be accepted. Is there any truth to this?

The busquets deal won't happen as barca won't sell a first team player until they can buy. And Benzema is one of those wait and see situations. I can see real selling just a game of cat and mouse atm
