It seems to the outside world that nobody at Arsenal PLC has the first clue about transfer dealings.
Take this Suarez nonsense for example. Why would Gazidis come out at the beginning of the summer and say we have £70m to spend when they are planning on negotiating a £40m+ deal? We have immediately told to Liverpool how much we have to spend and put ourselves at a disadvantage.
Liverpool being experts at overpaying when there is a few quid flying about took one look are our budget and pulled £50m out of the sky.
Its like an episode of the apprentice where little sir Allen sets a bunch of nupties a football transfer task.
If we were serious about signing big players Gazidis would have kept his mouth shut and done our business quietly instead of careering around the transfer market like an out of control wanna-be-entrepreneur from BBC2.
Mental.
Of course none of this is a rumour so here is my rumour - Because we've left things so late (again) We're going to end up with a 3 or 4 randoms that no other top 6 club wants.
Marca generally talk out of their bottoms. don't discount there being an alterer motive.
