EDS, please educate me: what really is it between the Baca fans and Cesc4? I wonder if any other midfielder did better than his 8 goals and 19 assists in 36 games!

Hi Eds, just seeking clarification: how many spaces do we have for Home-Grown over 21( I think it's 3)? and how many for Non-Home-Grown (I think 4)? I ask because it may guide us in all our wishes. People keep talking about a ST, AMF, DMF, CD, GK and some even talk of "a dire need" for wingers (I wonder how many wingers Barca have!) when we can register a maximum of 25 players. Thank you.
{Ed022's Note - For the 2013/14 season each club had a deadline of 4th September to submit a squad containing no more than 17 players who do not fulfil the "Home Grown Player" (HGP) criteria. The remainder of the squad, up to a total of 25 players, must be Home Grown. An HGP means a player who, irrespective of his nationality or age, has been registered with any club affiliated to the Football Association or the Football Association of Wales for a period, continuous or not, of three entire seasons or 36 months prior to his 21st birthday (or the end of the season during which he turns 21). Changes to the squad list of 25 may be made during the period of a transfer window. U21 players are eligible over and above the limit of 25 players/squad. For the 2013/14 campaign Under 21 players will have been born on or after 1st January 1992...}

Hi Eds. With Mr. Henry's pronouncements, I expect we should look elsewhere for a striker. Everyone talks about Muriel but I have a feeling he will have work permit issues. Could you please educate us. Thank you.
{Ed022's Note - Educate you? That would be a bit patronizing surely? Luis Miguel is a 22yr old Columbian striker who plays for Udinese. He was on loan for two seasons at Granada is Spain and Lecce in Italy. He returned to Udinese and played 22 times, scoring 11 goals. My patronizing nature will explain that is 1 goal every two games. He also laid on 3 assists for his mate. Bloody nice bloke!}
Sad. Could it be that the Arsenal authorizes wouldn't want players from his agent?
There you go wrong again! He is not just one of our best players, he is the best striker in the world! Some respect please.
I do not feel sorry for Arsenal but for Cesc. There is something not quite ok. I am certain Arsene has more reasons than that our midfield is loaded as he is likely to still buy either a DM or a box-to-box. We should ask ourselves why didn't Pep Guardiola snap Cesc up despite him being Cesc childhood idol- like he did for Alcantara. There is a reason.
Wenger used decoys this window. He was not going to sign Guilavogui. If he was, he would have sold Coquelin rather than loan out.
That IS the problem: the boy isn't likely to become a van Persie at WHL!

Arsenal have their rating of players and once the valuation of the player is unfair in their opinion, they pass. Like all human beings they make mistakes but in most cases their decision has Ben the better. Remember the way we all felt about Acquillani going to Liverpool? Remember Nuri Sahin? Those are the more recent ones that come to mind. Relax, we will get value for money.
