I think we all need to face that Sanchez will leave. Rumour mill is Mourinho has had a little chat with him and he seems keen enough to go to chelsea, just baffles me why he didn't do that 3 years ago when they came knocking originally. Our best bet is to look at the benches of the top clubs and cherry pick from there. Could be anyone as a possible replacement.

The Eds have told us Reus may be looked at as a replacement, but his injury troubles might be a worry.
We've had scouts attend multiple Lazio games and whilst it's apparently to keep an eye on Milinkovic-Savic there's always the possibility we've been watching Keita Diao and Felipe Anderson too.
Bernardeschi from Fiorentina has to be an option too.
As much as we'd all want players like Douglas Costa, Coman and Mbappe I think it's highly unlikely any will make the move to the Emirates.

Also, if Maureen has spoken to Sanchez without Arsenal's permission he is guilty of tapping up.
Given the reported mutual hatred between Wenger and Maureen I'd be amazed if anything like that happened without a complaint being made to the Fa.
Take what you read in the press with a bucket of salt. All every form of media isinterested in is selling papers or generating income from adertising based on circulation or listener or viewer numbers. The truth is a very poor secondary consideration.

I get the media thing but they have been saying for ages that alexis and ozil have turned down deals and will wait until the summer. They've been proven correct tbh.

We can all agree that Sanchez is great, most seasons too, but what i can't get my head around is, if he is, such an amazing player, then why is it he 'doesn't always' turn up when we need him? Give him his dues, we'd be far worse without him -
But we know players can carry teams, i.e Luis Suarez at Liverpool.
I Haven't seen Sanchez carry us like the media make out he can, Sometimes he just isn't around. And he throws his dummy out when he gets subbed off after not scoring a goal in 75mins against Stoke (for example) , which, by rights, he should be doing.
Either he's a great player, surrounded by other great, great players - or - He's a player surrounded by terrible players, making him shine.
I Want to love Sanchez, i really do, but i feel after the way he's been over the last two seasons, i feel we can do just that little bit better.
And before anyone mentions, I'm aware this season he's one of the top scorers - but i feel maybe we're showing that we're not that strong of a force if the best of the best for Arsenal is what we call Alexis Sanchez.

Sanchez for me is in a class above would of love to of seen him link with rvp. Cesc. He has down tools a little this year but previous don't think so.
Great player hope he stays but if he does go I will follow him career and im sure he will be a success.

Sanchez needs to be played as a centre forward for a couple of reasons firstly when he plays wide he provides no cover for our full backs leaving them completely exposed secondly when Sanchez plays up front he puts a great deal of pressure on opposing defenders so in affect he is our first line of defence which brings out extra qualities in an already very good player.
Sanchez like other players has been mis managed and he is a winner not a top 4 specialist without him this season we wouldn't even be in the top half of the table.
Sanchez is our only world class player and with a few more top class players around him would only get better it's hard to criticise Sanchez who this season has played in a very poor team.

Couldn't agree more jay, how anyone can criticise him is beyond belief. he's south American and has a temperament but he is an out and out winner, who works his socks off, unlike many.

Any info regarding Rob Holding? He looked pretty good affter we signed him, getting game time etc. Are we going to see more of him next season? Is he any part of the potential overhaul plans?
