Hi Eds,
Was just looking at the available free agents and came across the fact that Alex was a free agent before Milan signed him up from PSG. Any reason why Arsenal didn't go for him? Seemed like it would have been a typical Prof. signing. He's 34 but not a bad backup for CB.
On this note, do you think Arsenal are looking to sign any fee agents at all?

Anyone else reckon Serge Aurier is having a blinder in this world cup in an average Ivory Coast side? He's valued at £8 million which is a bargain to me. Not sure why Arsenal haven't made concrete offer yet.
1.) He looks ok better crosser than sagna but his positioning is not the best there a few right backs out there uchida, Isla, abate, vrsajko, coleman, juan fran, and the Italian right back he looked good against England

I agree. Signing Cesc is important to us. It would boost the team morale after FA cup win, make the fans happy and also lessen the chance of other clubs to improve their teams. The last factor alone should be prioritised by Wenger.

IMO - I think we need Matuidi-esqe player more than Draxler right now. If we can get Draxler I'll be more than happy but I won't loose any sleep if we don't get him in Jan (provided that he signs with us in the summer!).
We'd be lucky to get 20% out of Berba.
What about Di Maria?

I was hoping to see Podolski interchange with Giroud for the ST role but since he's out for 3 months I hope Sanogo or (. sigh. ) Bendtner can step up to the challenge.
