Hearing rumours that Arsenal are open to move Xhaka on. I've got mixed feelings about this one. How do you motivate a player who you are willing to sell?

Absolutely load of crap I’ve ever heard. In that case we should keep the same squad for next 10 years as well as the other 19 clubs.

I don’t believe that paper talk anyway. Xhaka isn’t going anywhere. Arteta highly rates him hence convincing him to stay when everyone wanted him out including himself and he’s having the best season He’s had at arsenal. Arsenal have fallen short because of quality in depth. Getting Rice doesn’t mean he’ll be off.

Dagenham I didn't mean you should keep the same players, I was just ruminating how a manager motivates a player for the remaining games in the season when they are put up for sale. Apologies for the misunderstanding.

I have mixed feelings if Xhaka is leaving, I know his age and his short fuse but I just feel he is a strong presence in the team.

Talk of ESR, Tierney, Holding and most of the loanees being offloaded too. Hope all this change doesn't neutralise the obvious strength in the dressing room.

I think there will be departures, but I don't think Xhaxa will be one of them.
The players we are targeting are young but are experienced like Rice and Mount, not convinced on either of them tbh.
Whatever happens this season, next season ia absolutely massive.
Another charge at the title and Champions League as well.
Our squad as it stands is not equipped to deal with both plus the 2 Cups. I would expect a lot of transfer activity this summer.

Rice has looked fantastic, in a poor team, but I have no doubt he will make us a much better team. He would be first on my list. Mount is nothing more than a week number ten, of which we don’t need unless letting Ode go, and even then there are better options, so really don’t get these media links with us being interested.

There comes a time where players have to leave for us to continue buying. Arsenal haven't brought in decent revenue for longer than I can remember.

Fans want us to keep Balogun, Patino, Xhaka, Nelson etc but also want us to sign Rice, Caicedo, Osimhen.

We miss Xhaka a lot when he doesn't play but it's likely that out of everyone, he would be the player to leave. Jorginho and Partey are mainstays and Rice plus another (Lavia maybe) would be great additions.

The realisty is, nobody wants our dead wood for decent sums of money so if we sell Balogun and a few others for 70-80m then so be it.
