David Ornstein is saying Silent Stan is digging in deeper following the protests .

Sallyjannine

1.) 02 May 2021 10:37:20
I doubt very much Stan is ruled by his emotions Sally, he doesn't strike me as the kind person to take protests personally and lay awake at night worrying about why Arsenal fans don't love him ๐Ÿ˜‚.

If it makes financial sense to sell he will sell and if it makes more financial sense to keep hold of Arsenal he will keep hold.

It must be a slow news day for Ormstien, either that or he's writing what he's been asked to write by the club in return for inside information during the summer.

{Ed014's Note - you should be a PI 62 with your suspicious mind! ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿคฃ

2.) 02 May 2021 10:41:47
I'm reading today that he's done a U turn Gunner. Who to believe? haha.

3.) 02 May 2021 10:44:09
I could call myself Sherlock Moans or Inspector tragic Ed014 mate ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜€.

{Ed014's Note - love it mate and yes either would be brilliant ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ

4.) 02 May 2021 10:49:40
I think if we had a poll on it Sherlock Moans would stand more than a fair chance of coming top mate ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜Š.

{Ed014's Note - you could always ask ed033 to set up a poll.

Should 62 change his name to A or B

Youโ€™d have to stick to it though!๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ

5.) 02 May 2021 10:59:49
I'd have no problem sticking to it at all Ed014 mate, it wouid be good laugh ๐Ÿ˜Ž, but I do think other posters migh have 1 or 2 suggestions of thier own they'd like to include in the Poll before the final candidates are offered ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜Š.

I reckon Mal would suggest I was known as The Wise man of the south ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜.

{Ed014's Note - haha more than likely mate!

6.) 02 May 2021 17:52:10
More like Ernie Wise.

7.) 02 May 2021 18:19:31
๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜ Mark.

8.) 02 May 2021 22:17:31
Ha! Shirlock Moans. That's great. Crockett and Shruggs.

9.) 03 May 2021 15:06:36
I could handle Crockett and Shruggs Ricky mate ๐Ÿ˜€

I might struggle with Stan and Joshie though ๐Ÿ˜ฃ,

That's another fine mess you've gotten us into Joshie ๐Ÿ˜ฅ๐Ÿ˜ฅ๐Ÿ˜ฅ๐Ÿ˜ฅ.

11 Apr 2021 12:02:39
Would the eds be able to comment on whether the unhappy players at Arsenal are angling for a move away or if this is just a temporary blip?

Sallyjannine

{Ed002's Note - I think many will go in the summer.}

1.) 11 Apr 2021 13:00:10
Thanks for replying Ed. It's sad to see a club with unhappy players.

2.) 12 Apr 2021 00:13:47
Edโ€™s logically Aubamyang has just signed that big contract so is going to be very content where he is but does seem disinterested and more focused on hiding his hairline (itโ€™s fine men age, atkeast your lifestyle is insane) . Do you think either party (arsenal or Auba) will be looking at considering options this summer.
Also looks more and more likely Bellerin is being moved on.

{Ed002's Note - I donโ€™t see Aubameyangadingding leaving this summer - he would need to be looking at Turkey to get the sort of money Arsenal are paying. The expectation is that Bellerin will move to Barcelona this summer - but nothing is agreed just yet.}

3.) 12 Apr 2021 11:17:58
Ed, whatโ€™s the situation with Lacazette, will he offered a new contract or will he be sold?

Cheers.

{Ed002's Note - I would think he will leave if the opportunity arises.}

4.) 12 Apr 2021 11:25:42
Sorry to annoy you, but whatโ€™s the situation with Willian, could he be on the way out?

{Ed002's Note - No I think he will be stuck at Arsenal.}

5.) 12 Apr 2021 11:28:28
Thank you for your time.

6.) 12 Apr 2021 11:25:42
Sorry to annoy you, but whatโ€™s the situation with Willian, could he be on the way out?

7.) 12 Apr 2021 11:28:28
Thank you for your time.

8.) 12 Apr 2021 17:10:46
Thanks for this Ed.

9.) 12 Apr 2021 22:30:43
Very typical that the players we don't want are the ones who want to stay. So Arsenal.

10.) 13 Apr 2021 16:25:05
I wonder if we have a few players going, if we will have interest in players that are available, pending they want to join Arsenal.

Just read camavinga is likely to be sold this summer. would figure we would have some interest. then again I have no idea how much the lad would command in a transfer fee.

11.) 14 Apr 2021 01:24:28
I'm surprised they pay crazy wages in Turkey, how do they afford them?

{Ed002's Note - They have tax advantages and direct sponsorship is allowed. Italy also have tax advantages over England and others.}

12.) 16 Apr 2021 03:07:33
Ed, you may not be able to answer this. Regarding Aubamayang again. Do you know if Real Madrid have had any interest in him in the past. Iโ€™m just thinking, could Arsenal try offer a swap deal for Odegaard as itโ€™s clear we want him.

{Ed002's Note - When he was younger but you are clutching at straws.}

08 Apr 2021 09:27:08
Morning Eds, are we looking again at Saha do you know?
And ed002 are the Arsenal fans generally treating you with more respect these days after the problems last year?

Sallyjannine

{Ed002's Note - I am afraid Louis Saha has retired now Sally but perhaps Arsenal could add him as another Director of Football? The fans have been fine recently thanks.}

1.) 08 Apr 2021 10:19:09
My mistake Ed I meant Wilfried Zaha :) glad to hear things have improved :)

{Ed002's Note - Wilifried Zaha (LW/F/RW/AM) The club would like to resist a sale but with funds being tight a good cash offer might have to be considered as his value will no doubt start dropping. PSG have looked previously and like his versatility and see him as an Angel Di Maria replacement who can also take the place of Julian Draxler as an AM if necessary. It is likely that interest has gone in favour of another. Arsenal considered him two years ago and ended up opting for Pepe - there may still be interest but the likely ยฃ40M asking price might prove a struggle for the club - and it is enough to keep any other interested clubs away.}

2.) 08 Apr 2021 10:20:51
Sally I must say, enquiring about Ed002 and the disrespect faced last year is very supportive. Hats off to you. This may be a banter site, but there is a line that must not be crossed, but sadly some have not adhered to this in the past. Edoo2, well all the Eds for that matter, are very generous with their time, we should all be grateful. As a club we have always demonstrated class and this is the same with the fans.

Hopefully the Eds can see that the fans appreciate them as you have demonstrated.

{Ed002's Note - Well thanks.}

3.) 08 Apr 2021 12:59:25
Well said Lefty :)

05 Apr 2021 19:07:27
Good evening Eds, is there the slightest possibility we might sell our brilliant Saka to fund further purchases/ pay off debts? It would break my heart : (.

Sallyjannine

{Ed002's Note - The only reason to sell him this summer will not to fund a rebuild but if he wonโ€™t agree a new contract.}

1.) 05 Apr 2021 20:25:04
Thanks Ed. I am pleased to hear that
:)

2.) 06 Apr 2021 09:25:07
He signed a new long term contract last year.

{Ed077's Note - till 2024 according to transfermarkt.}

22 Feb 2021 19:05:44
Good evening Eds, is there anything in the rumour PSG and Barcelona might be coming in for Bellerin?

Sallyjannine

{Ed002's Note - Perhaps Barcelona - there has been interest.}

1.) 22 Feb 2021 19:37:06
Ed any chance we can get rid of PEA?

2.) 22 Feb 2021 20:10:37
Thanks Ed.

3.) 23 Feb 2021 12:27:09
Get rid of pea ๐Ÿ˜‚ was that meant to sound as disrespectful as it looked.

4.) 23 Feb 2021 17:13:37
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. Not intended to be disrespectful. Is he worth his wages? Not a chance. I don't think there's anything disrespectful in that statement.

5.) 23 Feb 2021 17:28:57
I agree Alex.

6.) 23 Feb 2021 19:09:05
Come on eh guys
This is a guy who has carried us with his goals the past few seasons, especially as our defence was so dire.
Iโ€™m sure everyone woulda been saying at the time โ€œauba signing a contract would be the best signing of the summerโ€ he signs. If the contracts huge so what, we got what we wanted no? Donโ€™t forget agents are at play when negotiations happen, not all Aubaโ€™s fault.
โค๏ธ๐Ÿค.

{Ed077's Note - You(Arsenal FC) got what you(AFC) wanted when Oil was tied down to his bumper deal and yet it was fine to slam him but PEA should be held immune because why exactly? His performances have been below par since the beginning of the season and he hasn't lived up to anywhere near the levels he set. Be measured and respectful fine but don't be blinded by his goals 12 months ago when you are judging him NOW.}

7.) 24 Feb 2021 07:54:21
Maybe you should all show some respect, could you concentrate on work if your mother was on deaths door I know I couldnโ€™t.

{Ed077's Note - Strength to Auba and family. It's a tough ask to concentrate on your game when there is so much going on in your life. So take a while to approach when having a go and respect the issues going on in the background I say and that applies for everyone.
I completely agree that it would be nigh on impossible for me to be able to concentrate on anything if someone in the family is seriously unwell.}

8.) 24 Feb 2021 11:10:52
I hear what your saying ed077 buu it in my eyes Ozil was treated completely unfairly. Obviously something happened behind the scenes between him and the club over his comments about religion in China. Arteta started him in all his games up to tha point n then boom heโ€™s dropped completely out of the squad. Heโ€™s exactly what weโ€™re missing right now so maybe the club were right to extend his contract but other situations occurred to which the club chose money over squad Harmony.
Aubaโ€™s not immune to criticism donโ€™t get me wrong but to just get rid of him because heโ€™s had half a bad season in which heโ€™s had horiible family issues is ridiculous to be honest.

{Ed077's Note - something happened with Ozil and Edu as well, didn't it? Also they stopped showing any Arsenal games in China until Mesut was dropped.
Getting rid just now may be too harsh and too hasty of a decision but he hasn't been anywhere near the standards of his previous seasons. His off field issue does mean he deserves more support and time to turn things around.}

9.) 24 Feb 2021 17:02:55
Yeh apparently so Ed, not to sure what it was or what it was about but going by what ed02 says (Eduโ€™s out of his depth) then maybe we did get rid of the wrong guy perhaps.
Thatโ€™s right Ed, itโ€™s shocking by the Chinese to give Arsenal that ultimatum really and for Arsenal to oblige for that matter. Whatโ€™s your thoughts on it Ed077? Would you be happy if that happened to Utd with say Rashford?

{Ed077's Note - I would rather not speak about China or CCP too much but I would obviously side with whoever I thought was in the right ( Ozil's thoughts were justified IMO). I don't know whether it was a straight out ultimatum but showing a replay of Spurs game I stead of scheduled Arsenal game is a strong enough hint for most people. I would never be happy if someone is punished for raising a voice against wrongdoings be it be Radford or Fred or Jones.}

10.) 24 Feb 2021 17:59:56
Jegooner, ozil is wrong. He was employed by Arsenal and we have a code of conduct and he broke it
If he had political views he should of waited until his contract had finished and then expressed his beliefs.

Good riddance.

{Ed077's Note - it was more a humanitarian view IMO, malaga.}

11.) 24 Feb 2021 18:19:11
Really Mal, Really? Arsenal donโ€™t own him mate they pay him a wage (yes a luxurious one) but a wage nonetheless. Out of hours whoโ€™s right is it to tell someone they canโ€™t voice an opinion on human rights, equality and there beliefs to help people.
I canโ€™t see in what way he was wrong in that. How can you punish someone for that?

{Ed077's Note - me neither Jegooner. I don't see much fault in him raising his voice against an issue that needed more attention.}

12.) 24 Feb 2021 18:28:55
Ed, Iโ€™m sorry if this upsets you or any posters but I have 2 tattoos

1- I have an Irish and Italian flag crossed with my family crests

2- I have my wifeโ€™s, daughter and granddaughters name set on top of a cannon

I really couldnโ€™t give a crap about ozil s views about a province in china.

{Ed077's Note - it doesn't mean Ozil isn't allowed to share an opinion on it or raise his voice against it. Just like I can't tell you what to do with your tattoos or Ozil for that matter. You don't have to agree with something to see that there could be another point if view on a topic. Also you probably don't actually know what concerns Ozil was trying to bring some light onto with the way you are talking.}

13.) 24 Feb 2021 18:44:50
Ed, ozil used Arsenal as a speaking platform, he would never had done at a Turkish club

He used Arsenal.

{Ed077's Note - I don't see it as such Malaga. He didn't use Arsenal directly to raise his voice, Arsenal just got attached to it because he happened to be your player at the time. Or am I missing something.}

14.) 24 Feb 2021 18:59:52
Ed the problem at the Chinese Provence has been going on for decades. He waited until he got his new contract and them came out with it

Please, Iโ€™m not stupid

I.

{Ed077's Note - Better late than never malaga. And he got the contract while Wenger was still at the club and raised his voice after Arteta's arrival. A good 2 years into his new deal.

Maybe he only found out enough to show concern last year?}

15.) 24 Feb 2021 19:15:11
Ed, I want to make it clear, I am not a racist. But I am sick and tired of every excuse under the sun being made for ozil.

I have been an Arsenal fan for over 60 years and weโ€™ve had a code of conduct that every past player and manager has stood by

Ozil broke that so he can f^^k right off and will never be an Arsenal legend in my eyes.

{Ed077's Note - never said anything about you as a person now did I? Maybe I remember the great moments that Ozil gave everyone while you know how frustrating it was on his off days. If speaking against injustice is seen as bad by Arsenal and their so called "code of conduct" than it only makes me happier to not be a Gooner.

Let me end this by sharing= with you a saying= we have round my area. If you randomly shout "Cut The Thief's leg" then the Thief will instantly move his leg in order to protect his leg getting hence giving away the truth.}

16.) 24 Feb 2021 19:17:07
๐Ÿ˜‚ Mal are you saying Ozil shoulda just got a tattoo? ๐Ÿคฃ
Belter! ๐Ÿ˜‚ (nice Ink by the way)

I completely agree Ed, it had nothing to do with Arsenal, heโ€™s a famous footballer voicing his views hoping to help peopleโ€™s lives. China brought Arsenal into it by threatening to discipline them really mate
Your beliefs are your beliefs until you believe no longer, so i'm sure heโ€™ll still use his reputation to help no matter where heโ€™s at.

17.) 24 Feb 2021 19:30:26
Now, now ed

I wonder how you would of reacted if he was an old bogger

Itโ€™s easy to comment when the shoe is on the other foot.

{Ed077's Note - what's an old bogger mate? Typo?}

18.) 24 Feb 2021 19:40:41
So am I correct in thinking you don't think Rashford should have spoken about school dinners, Malaga? Is the China Uighur situation not popular enough for you or is it because you're not well enough versed to run commentary on what Ozil's beliefs are?

19.) 24 Feb 2021 19:46:42
An old bogger is slang for old Trafford

Geiger, you can bring other arguments into as much as you want. Iโ€™ve said my piece.

{Ed077's Note - so you want to know how I would react if Ozil was an old bogger, meaning if Ozil was Old Trafford? Well it would be difficult to play football there right? I would still be pissed off and very very disappointed and at the club if they punished a player for raising voice against injustice and exploitation of human rights and would be very critical of the club.}

20.) 24 Feb 2021 20:04:02
Ed so the next time you buy any Utd merchandise youโ€™ll be looking to see what country itโ€™s made in.

{Ed014's Note - I wouldnโ€™t be seen dead in any United merchandise mate!๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ

21.) 24 Feb 2021 20:16:17
Night mate

Stay safe.

{Ed014's Note - and you mate

22.) 26 Feb 2021 22:28:15
Ed77, youโ€™re the first Ed Iโ€™ve seen spout proper nonsense and essentially start an argument.

Your opinion is poor at best, and you sound misinformed.

Easier not to say anything than talk nonsense.

{Ed077's Note - what nonsense did I talk exactly?}

23.) 26 Feb 2021 22:57:20
I don't believe the Uighar issue was the problem. I just think the club couldn't see a future with Ozil and just wanted his wages off the books. Obviously that causes moral issues as his contract was due to run till June. I adored watching him play a few years ago and I wish him well. I think the whole saga shows a steely aide to Arsenal, not sure if that is good or bad. I often wonder if the mood at the club is better since he left. Perhaps Eds could help with that?

{Ed002's Note - Oezil was not the reason players are unhappy. All that has happened is two of the unhappy ones have left.}

24.) 27 Feb 2021 11:40:21
Thanks for the clarification Ed, that's good to know.

25.) 27 Feb 2021 18:49:33
Yeah how dare ozil speak out against injustices. The world is full of **** and I see atleast one here.

26.) 03 Mar 2021 16:40:04
So 5kywalker you gunna enlighten us then or what? Intrigued to know how ed077 comments are nonsense.
๐Ÿค”.

{Ed077's Note - I am genuinely curious to know as well. Doesnt hurt to learn something new.}

10 May 2021 18:53:46
Blimey, I'm reading Leno is up for sale!

Sallyjannine

1.) 10 May 2021 20:29:37
No surprise there. Club has made lots of bad decisions over the last decade and retaining Leno over Martinez is one of them. And I won't be surprised if he himself is pushing for a move.

2.) 10 May 2021 20:33:27
There will be quite a few up for sale I suspect. Selling them, however, might prove a bit difficult in the current climate. Our (Arteta's) wish list for players is already in trouble if we cannot shift any players.

3.) 10 May 2021 20:49:57
Good.
He is bang average.
Not poor, not to blame for this season, just bang average.
Itโ€™s not Lenoโ€™s fault he isnโ€™t Martinez or that he was restored to the first team when Martinez had replaced him - brilliantly - when heโ€™d been injured. That was the buffoon Artetaโ€™s doing.
Be we need shot of players like Leno: there are about fourteen others in the current first team squad or out on loan who should go to.

4.) 10 May 2021 21:40:59
Donโ€™t forget Max we had to fund the transfer of TP selling Martinez was our answer.

5.) 10 May 2021 21:46:28
Martinez is no better or worse than Leno. If weโ€™d sold Leno we would still have let in just as many goals and everyone would have been annoyed that we chose the wrong keeper. Both are average/ just above average. Wish people would stop saying Martinez is some kind of saviour - he isnโ€™t.

6.) 11 May 2021 02:28:48
Who care, before the move none of us thought it was a realistic ting anyway, the oracle said so himself, I'd chuck in Welsh gunner, hopefully he's got a head piece in and no, not stockley park, apparently he's in cahoots with the gk Kirman at Swansea, he's normally wrong about everything, but let's hope he's drilling that farm dweller hard.

7.) 11 May 2021 08:00:40
Exactly.

8.) 11 May 2021 09:12:29
Martinez is streets in front of the clown AKA Leno.

9.) 11 May 2021 12:51:10
Bruce sssh fella and yes we were interested in woodman, but he didnโ€™t fancy the move as heโ€™s swans number 1, and Iโ€™m mates with the kit man so sort your pathetic life out itโ€™s people like you that stop the Edโ€™s from giving us info.

10 May 2021 18:31:23
Blimey, I'm reading Leno is up for sale!

Sallyjannine

{Ed014's Note - think weโ€™re looking at a part exchange with Aston Villa who apparently have a great young keeper weโ€™re after! ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ

1.) 10 May 2021 19:33:25
That's ridiculous if true, although it makes my life easier if it is.

The only place I had any sympathy at all for Arteta was over the 50/ 50 cell he had to make between Martinez and Leno, he got it wrong but it could easily have gone the other way.

If he now sells Leno anyway, phew I'm totally free of Arteta understanding ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜€.

2.) 10 May 2021 19:33:46
Did we put a buy back clause in Martinez's contract or is that too sensible?

{Ed002's Note - No there won't be - as a rule only one English side ever does that.}

3.) 10 May 2021 20:03:24
Wasn't Martinez about 30 when we sold him? I think at that age if you sell you do with confidence your doing the right thing or don't sell at all.

{Ed014's Note - heโ€™s 28, prime age for a keeper

4.) 10 May 2021 20:28:10
I Love Emi but I understand why the club stuck with Leno. He was our best player until that awful midair collision.

I read he preferred working with the goalkeeping coach who was dispensed with. I'm sure being coached by someone you're not happy with must be difficult for a keeper. I don't think he was ever quite the same since that collision.

It will be interesting to see who will be in goal tomorrow!

5.) 10 May 2021 20:45:58
Willian is my guess Sally ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ–’.

6.) 10 May 2021 20:34:43
Is he, fair play Ed014 mate, I just thought I heed he was 20 when he joined the club and was at Arsenal 10 years hence I came up with 30, but it's far from beyond the realms of possibility that I've misunderstood, it's happend before ๐Ÿ˜ƒ.

{Ed014's Note - ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ it certainly has!

7.) 10 May 2021 21:01:19
Could be, and he might score again too Gunner ๐Ÿ˜‰.

8.) 10 May 2021 21:32:35
Thing is Sally if Mikel did decide to put Willian in goal, it wouldn't rank in his top 5 strangest decisions ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜.

9.) 10 May 2021 21:42:57
Sorry Sally I donโ€™t, Leno hasnโ€™t filled me with confidence from day one, Martinez was the man in form huge huge error to move him on.

10.) 10 May 2021 21:52:43
Leno has always been a great shot stopper but terrible at crosses, commanding his box, distribution, organising defence and catching. His decision making is also very poor. I never liked him nor thought he was a good choice for us. At the time when our defence was shambolic - he was good durpe to number of shots but he would never get a sniff in at City, CFC, Liverpool etc

Emi was by far the better keeper but I guess with Leno injured or Mikelโ€™s favourite - he dropped the guy that helped win the FA Cup, cried and win the number 1 jersey. But instead, Mikel like most of his decisions just favoured the few players who like him.

If true - itโ€™s just crazy. is it true or a p take?

08 May 2021 15:41:06
I must say I'm very impressed with Bielsa's young players, chasing every ball. I'm also very impressed by his knees, especially at his age! ๐Ÿ˜‚.

Sallyjannine

1.) 08 May 2021 15:48:51
A very impressive display.

2.) 08 May 2021 15:58:29
They are not his knees mate, he got them from a Bee keeper just outside Halifax

This why Pep is always singing his praises and calls him the Bees knees.

3.) 08 May 2021 16:31:10
๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜‚.

4.) 08 May 2021 17:32:26
Bielsa's has said that if he is offered the Arsenal job he will upgrade his knees even further Sally.

He's going to pop back to Halifax and pick up some show knees, and as we all know there are no Bees knees like show Bees knees ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜€๐ŸŽ‚.

{Ed014's Note - ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

5.) 08 May 2021 17:48:21
You're on fire today Gunner ๐Ÿ”ฅ.

6.) 08 May 2021 17:50:51
๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜น.

7.) 08 May 2021 18:31:52
We've got to keep smiling ๐Ÿ˜

Things will get better and The True Arsenal will most definitely find its way back, it's when not if ๐Ÿ–’.

07 May 2021 13:56:05
Good afternoon Ed002, you have said many times that Edu is a liability for the Gunners. Would you know if his position is under threat? Thanks as always.

I hold my hands up, after last night I can't see a way forward for Mikel, despite reasons he can't discuss (whatever does that mean! )

No European football is hard to contemplate for the gunners. Obviously Mikel will not attract the players we need to rebuild so its back to the drawing board.

It's a horrible feeling : (.

I understand the feeling Sally but I am convincing myself that it will be a blessing in disguise to get us going in the league. We have a great chance to gel in more young players so that we have a good team to challenge in the next season. But definitely with Allegri or Benitez in charge.

Hey Sally we are all on the same side and all want the same things, we Just don't always agree with each other on how they are best achieved.

We all have opinions and views that sometimes coincide with facts and at other times we get it completely wrong in out opinions and predictions (tell me about it ๐Ÿ˜Ž) .

The truth is none of us ever really know the future and how any player or manager will or won't work out.

On the bright side of things, how good did Calum look last night even just sitting there on the bench ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜ƒ.

You just made me smile for the first time since last night Gunner,
thank you ๐Ÿ˜Š.

That's good news Sally ๐Ÿ˜‚

Last night, this season, the last decade are all Just a part of the long rich history of The Arsenal.

We are down but not out by a very long way and who knows by the start of next season we could have new owners and a top of the range manager in place.

I'm the same Sally. Have defended arteta for a while but big doubts are entering my head! I mean the players are to blame also but arteta doesn't help himself with some of the players he starts and strange subs. Also the question I keep seeing and can't answer is what is his style of football?!

Thanks for replying Ed. It's sad to see a club with unhappy players.

My mistake Ed I meant Wilfried Zaha :) glad to hear things have improved :)

Sallyjannine

{Ed002's Note - Wilifried Zaha (LW/F/RW/AM) The club would like to resist a sale but with funds being tight a good cash offer might have to be considered as his value will no doubt start dropping. PSG have looked previously and like his versatility and see him as an Angel Di Maria replacement who can also take the place of Julian Draxler as an AM if necessary. It is likely that interest has gone in favour of another. Arsenal considered him two years ago and ended up opting for Pepe - there may still be interest but the likely ยฃ40M asking price might prove a struggle for the club - and it is enough to keep any other interested clubs away.}

Realistically where do our ambitions lie?

While Man City and Chelsea can attract the outstanding players/ managers with their owners' millions do we really believe we will ever win the Premiership/ Champions League while their owners are still investing?

I think we should aim for the domestic trophies and to cultivate a wonderful-to-watch game with the aim of getting in the Champions League but not necessarily expecting to win it while we have the business set up we have.

For me, I would like to see beautiful football with players who play for the badge. What I find so disappointing atm is this doesn't seem to be the case with a lot of our guys.

Bring back the pride to play for this great club, Saka and ESR both have it in spades :)
