Hey Ed's,
Just a quick holla to say the content on here has been great even this early in the window. I'm on this over a decade and the information being shared and dedication to the site never ceases to impress. Especially if, like me, you take the time to read Ed's posts on other clubs pages.
Special mention to Ed 002 and our own Ed of course.
On a personal level really hoping we can sign both Rice and Lavia, Castagne, and a proper out and out CF. The Havertz links is curious to me because he drifts in and out of games and I feel we need a robust forward who plays off the shoulder that would preoccupy and disrupt CBs.
Toney or Abraham type players.
Ed would you know if we are looking at this type of player or whether the Havertz interest is correct regarding discussions and interest being registered?
Also, have you any knowledge of the Rice deal and whether our reluctance to meet the asking price could entice rivals into trumping us? I only ask because I know from other pages you've alluded to the fact that other teams haven't declared an interest which made me wonder if we might have a gentleman's agreement in place?
Finally, could you give us your insight into what outgoings may materialise over the coming weeks? I'm hoping we might retain Balogun and give him an opportunity.

{Ed002's Note - I am not aware of any Arsenal interest in Toney or Abrahams and there has been no formal offer for Havertz yet but his agent has told Chelse there is one coming and he has been speaking with Arsenal and Bayern Munich.}

Hi Ed if you don`t mind just following on from Shambo are we talking / making an offer to Southampton for Lavia and have we stepped away from any Caicedo deal? Tried to find latest info but couldn`t find. Have a great week COYG.

Can’t understand the Havertz one myself as that money could be going towards an elite CF but Arteta clearly has an idea and system in mind should we sign him.
Any knowledge or update on whether we are close to meeting West Ham’s valuation of Rice?

Is it true we’ve had a bid accepted for Lavia Ed? I know you say another club is in talks with Southampton I’m just curious as the source of this is usually verifiable.
Also can you confirm if the rival club for his signature is Chelsea?

Ed002 what’s your opinion on Declan Rice do you think he would be a sound investment for the money potentially we will be paying, just out of curiosity.
