It's interesting that the fans, including me, and players adore Arteta, yet he has made the worst start to his Arsenal management career than any other Arsenal manager!

Just shows you the dire situation we fell into, we were honestly going to be battling relegation a few weeks ago, there was no connection between the fans and players and badge in any sense, we had no will or fight, and whilst our position is still not great and we’ve dropped points we shouldn’t have maybe we needed to hit the lows we did to truly reconnect with the team we all love, and we have a manager who is fresh, passionate and most of all demanding, it no longer looks like the players have an easy ride and we’re getting the reaction MA deserves for what he’s doing on the training ground. a very happy gooner here but a very long way to go.

Performances are more important to me than results - Emery had a lucky start with poor performances. luck ran out and results = Performance levels

Mikel hasn’t really had a preseason or a window - not a level playing field while performances and attitude seem positive.

Points per game aren't anything to write home about but when you set about a complete overhaul of something and introduce completely new concepts to a group that by its own admission isn't used to working hard work it takes time for everything to click into place 100%.
It must be brilliant for our players to suddenly be getting plaudits from fans pundits and neutrals for their effort and mentality they are showing after so many years of being slated for doing the opposite.
