Top 4 really was a Trophy - I'm amazed at the difference in money EL Vs Champ League.

So as Semi finalist and we earned â‚¬16m ish but the finalists in CL have earned over â‚¬100m

On the table for us -extra â‚¬4m on top of the â‚¬4.5m for reaching the showpiece,

If we were in CL - worth a minimum â‚¬30m based on this season's prize money and Our coefficient ranking.

We really need CL football but at least EL every season. think the philosophy that 4th is like a trophy or our top 3 priorities is a good statement even though we got stick for it.

As fans do we get excited about money or watching attractive competitive football?

4th place and last 16 CL exit may have been good for business but it was relatively non competitive and extremely boring mate.

Money should be a by product of successful football not an alternative option, it's whare we went so badly wrong in the past.

I get that 62 / Ox and I want to win. However, an additional 10, 20, 30m per year plus appeal of CL football impacts our budget and targets that ultimately impacts how we compete in the league. Weâ€™ve spent poorly which defeats my argument and underachieved this season which defeats my argument but all those fees we need to pay for previous transfers need paying and impact what we sign. May be you are right and Iâ€™m not saying itâ€™s our goal but to say finishing in Top 4 isnâ€™t an expectation and a minimum expectation feels poor. I donâ€™t believe we ever said it was a trophy but was mistranslated in that top 4 is important to us.

I want trophies - letâ€™s be clear but falling 80m behind in money to CL finalists this season and may be next wonâ€™t help us in the epl is my point.

My own view is a successful entertaining team on the pitch will automatically bring in financial rewards off the pitch as a direct consequence of the on filed success but as we have seen over the last 15 years the opposite isn't true and financial success does not necessarily lead to football succes.

We fans want to see good to watch competitive football and I personally couldn't care less If we buy our players from Real or Rotherham or whether they are called Colin Bogsbottom or Roberto Demamagiclaces it's all about what happens on the pitch and how much I enjoy spending my time watching it.

I donâ€™t think this season we would have got far in champions league. I think next season we will be a different beast. We wonâ€™t be in champions league or europa the only option will be to get top four the board will prioritise it and if we fail will/ should take action at the earliest opportunity and that would be christmas.
