People have short memories, Pepe had a good final few weeks and Tierney wasn't in display so went completely off some people's radar.

Just goes to show your only as good or as bad as the last game people remember you in.

Without sounding like an old fart, it’s obviously the demented younger generation who can only remember yesterday who must of voted for Pepe.

You know the type, those who seem to think the last single released by a particular artist is the greatest song in history, until they release the next song of course! They are exactly the sort of people that need to be banned from any voting!

For most of the season the only list Pepe topped was either the biggest waste of money list, or the player I would most like to ship out list, where of course he was 2nd after permanent number 1 Xhaka.

To be fair Pepe, s not in either list currently, which is nice. My vote for best player is either Holding, Saka or ESR, with the last being just to wind up Welshy.

I am old Epping and my phone is rammed with the Stones, The Jam, ACDC etc etc not Cardi B singing about her Vagina! Tierney from my quick limited research played the sixth amount of Premier League minutes 700 minutes more than Pepe! It`s that confirmation bias getting in the way again Banbury. If Pepe was better than Tierney over the season I`ll eat my shoes and I`ll do the same if Saka isn`t player of the season COYG.

Unfortunately for Welsh it says so much about him and absolutely nothing about ERS, Welsh doesn't need a reason to put someone in his disliked encyclopedia, but once in thers it's just like a black hole, nothing can escape 😀.
