Pea has stopped contract negotiations with arsenal, him lacca Torreira Ozil Leno they will all be gone within 2 years and then that’s us done.

1.) 27 Nov 2019 19:24:26
2 years? Try and predict what will happen in the next 2 hours 2 days2 weeks 2 months and you'd be pushed to say very much at all with any kind of certainty, there is every chance we could be relegated and equally as much chance we could be champions as Leicester narrowly avoided relegation the season before they won the league.
The nice thing about the future is absolutely everything is still to play for and that goes for everyone everywhere.

2.) 27 Nov 2019 20:53:32
We won’t be Champions for a very long time that I know.

3.) 27 Nov 2019 21:17:37
Maybe he wants to see what happens with the manager and who the new guy is.

4.) 27 Nov 2019 21:38:41
2 years ago would you have wanted Brendan Rogers as our manager after looking so out of his depth at Liverpool Welsh mate? Had you even heard of Nuno?
Be pessimistic about what's happening right now mate that's understandable but to be so pessimistic about what might or might not happen in 2 years time when change is so likely to come in the next few days is exceptionally negative mate.

5.) 28 Nov 2019 03:32:28
A lot of our squad will look to move on if we don’t get CL football and by the performances, they don’t believe the manager is going to get them there.
ED. Any Reliable whispers in football work with what’s happening on the manager front at Arsenal? In some ways it actually shows good back bone we’ve stuck with him with the poor end and current season but like a relationship- when it’s not right it’s not right.

{Ed002's Note - It is never as clear cut as you think. Clubs do not want to make changes for changes sake so they tend to ride it out to the summer and look in the meantime, else they get in to the Manchaster United mismanagement paradigm of jumping the gun. You make a change around Christmas and the options are a reduced set of available replacements, or a filler until the summer.

If there is no obvious replacement - don't jump, spend money on moving on the coach and his staff with nobody to step up as an interim. It needs to be planned. The structure is wrong and needs fixing, maybe gutting. Ex players are not excelling as potential replacements. The club is a mess structure wise and if it were my choice, I would fix that first. They have let go scouts who are a light year better that the head of scouting. Edu has been thrown in with the title and no responsibility - he should be no more than an advisor and co-ordinator on South American options. I could go on forever about this, but it will do no more than depress you more.}

6.) 28 Nov 2019 09:03:56
Gunner yes I would have wanted him two years ago.

7.) 28 Nov 2019 09:04:36
I don’t want emery you all slated me and look what happened, trust me this and and these players need a big name manager.

8.) 28 Nov 2019 10:20:13
Fair enough Welsh mate, I think there is much to be unhappy about right now but also think things can change quickly and dramatically in football too mate, shall we agree to think differently on this one mate? :-)

9.) 28 Nov 2019 05:34:13
I thought our scouts were good Ed this is not looking any better at all is it.

10.) 28 Nov 2019 09:30:28
Please go on Ed its making me smile.

21 Nov 2019 09:04:02
Ed’s have arsenal show any interest in braut Haaland, as it’s being reported he was at arsenals training ground being shown around.

{Ed002's Note - That would not be allowed. Perhaps his father had a wander around. He won't be joining Arsenal.}

1.) 21 Nov 2019 12:17:21
Him and his dad by all accounts thanks ed.

{Ed002's Note - Expect Arsenal to be in very significant trouble in that case.}

2.) 21 Nov 2019 19:11:57
Who is saying this Welsh? Oh look :-)
Do you really think Arsenal football club would really leave themselves so exposed to blatant rule breaking?
Give the club some credit mate.
1 I doubt very much the club would do such a thing
2 If they were to i doubt very very much that they would be so useless at it that they would leave themselves so wide open and easy to expose.
Remember Raul and Jose having meals together discussing his replacing Emery a couple of weeks ago :-)
It's the usual rubbish from the usual suspects as per usual.

3.) 22 Nov 2019 08:50:39
Chill out gunner62 I’m only saying go back to bed and get out on the right side next time.

4.) 22 Nov 2019 09:36:13
I've tried that Welsh but there is a Wall next to the bed that prevents me from getting out on the right side mate :-) .
All I'm saying is don't believe everything you read but if you absolutely must think everything you read is true then you might want to stay away from the Sci fi and horror sections at the library or you won't be getting out any side of the bed because you will to scared to dare go to bed in the first place mate:-) .

5.) 24 Nov 2019 01:44:41
Paper talk, they even said that him and his father did the same with man u hahahah.

6.) 24 Nov 2019 12:22:38
62 has had a personality transplant, imposter springs to mind lol.

7.) 24 Nov 2019 14:40:31
I’m welshgunner there’s a welshgooner hear don’t get us mixed up lol.

8.) 24 Nov 2019 15:06:25
Oh I see, so you are the mean one lol.

09 Nov 2019 11:02:37
Ed do you know if Man Utd are targeting pea David ornstien has tweeted they are watching him.

{Ed002's Note - There was some interest in Aubameyangadingdong when Jose Mourinho was coach but the club opted for Lukaku - that would have been 2017. Now they have other targets in mind and I am not aware that they are looking at him again.}

1.) 10 Nov 2019 14:16:20
Thanks ed.

08 Nov 2019 09:37:37
Rumours of Enrique again.

1.) 09 Nov 2019 03:37:03
Ed what’s your views on Nuno Santo from Wolves?

{Ed002's Note - Below average journeyman goalkeeper.}

30 Jul 2019 12:57:17
Any of the Ed’s know if Monaco have made an approach for mustafi.

{Ed002's Note - I am aware of a discussion with Roma and am aware he will only leave if any deal suits him.}

1.) 30 Jul 2019 17:59:17
Sounds fair to me, we gave him the contract and he'd be a fool to leave where he's happy for somewhere he doesn't want to be just to please us.

2.) 30 Jul 2019 18:59:36
Apparently he doesnmt want to leave he is happy and wants to prove the fans wrong. going to be a long season if he tries 🤣.

3.) 30 Jul 2019 19:44:30
Imagine if your boss said he wanted you to leave his company where you were happy and relocate your family to a different company in a different country, but you knew he couldn't force you to go because of employment laws.
Would any of us go?

{Ed047's Note - so stay where your boss doesn’t like you, he puts you in a lesser role, ie the bench or worse, the company customers don’t like you and boo when they see you all with the added bonus of press and pundits ridiculing your work.

Or go where the weathers nicer, the pays as good, the restaurants better, the private schools as good and your closer to home.

Umm let me think.

4.) 30 Jul 2019 20:16:32
But Mustafi is happy at Arsenal Ed047, maybe you or me wouldn't be happy in his situation but he is happy at Arsenal.
I've always felt if your unhappy in your job then change because you have nothing to lose but if you are happy where you are then wow it's a huge gamble moving because the absolute best that can happen if your really lucky is you break even and get happy at the next Job too.
It's an absolute no brainer for Mustafi and his family to stay put if they like life where they are, we should never have bought him or Xhaka but that's our mistakes not thiers.

{Ed047's Note - my point was if no one wants you where you are wouldn’t you just rather go and be somewhere equally as nice where you get a new start.

Fully appreciate he doesn’t have to but think he’s kidding himself to say he’s happy to stay here under these circs.

5.) 31 Jul 2019 07:19:47
It would be best for both the player and the club if he moved on. His style simply doesn’t suit the PL. It is interesting that we haven’t signed a single defender in this window.
Tierney may arrive and I would love to see Mustafi sold and a quality replacement brought in. With only a week to go, assuming we sign Pepe and Tierney I will be pleased with the window, but the icing on the cake would be a CB out and one in.

6.) 30 Jul 2019 22:14:28
Before your time Ed047 but Martin Buccan the ex Manchester United CB who was a fantastic player said he absolutely hated being a footballer but it paid better than anything else he was capable of doing so he had little choice.
We all think of football as being about playing each week and I think at the beginning it's like that for all players but some lose their love of playing and it becomes a job and nothing more, Mertesacker said on his least season he hoped he'd never have to play again despite accepting a new 1 year deal.
For some players it's a case of doing their training play if selected and other than that get on with their lives doing what they really enjoy doing away from football.

{Ed047's Note - when I think about it I guess it’s true in all walks mate, I think I’m probably associating it with the amount of money they earn making it easier to live anywhere.

Which is no doubt not really the case for the average Joe.

Clearly most would like to see him moved on but the reality is if he doesn’t want to then like you say, the club gave him contract and that’s it.

7.) 31 Jul 2019 18:16:06
If I was mustafi, I would move. majority of the fans don't like him. Every mistake is amplified, and he is being mocked. good on him for sticking to his beliefs. but sometimes the individual is his worst enemy. Move on, reinvent yourself without pressure. Staying behind and trying to do something he has been unable to for the past few seasons. is at best retarded.

8.) 31 Jul 2019 19:10:30
If work is the most important thing in Mustafi life then he's a fool to stay but if his own, his wife and kids happiness is much more important than his job and if all the Mustafi family love living in London he'd be a mug to leave.
How many people actually love their jobs? For most people work is a means to an end no more no less, they do their job to the best of their abilities then go home forget all about work and get on with their real life.

What really grips my stick 🙄 is a few weeks ago most of the members in here were laughing at Utd and spurs, when personally I think we much much worse off than them, I can never in a million years see us beating city at home never mind away, I’ve been lucky enough to have won 2 tickets for next weekends game it’ll be my first time at the emirates, I’m praying we win but can’t see past a city mauling.

1.) 08 Dec 2019 16:16:49
Try and enjoy the occasion no matter what mate, there will be other seasons, other managers and other players but there will never ever be another first visit to the Emirates mate.
Have a brilliant day mate, enjoy the stadium enjoy London enjoy everything that is humanly possible to enjoy and don't let the bad bits take the shine off what will be a very very special day for you personally.

2.) 08 Dec 2019 16:28:13
Hope you have a great day out at the Emirates - make a day of it if possible and just enjoy yourself. Like 62 says - soak it in and enjoy the experience even if the game doesn’t go our way. Enjoy.

3.) 08 Dec 2019 18:45:15
I will say it as it is and not the cliche crap, if we get hammered you won’t enjoy it mate, how can a true Arsenal fan enjoy a defeat of any magnitude . If we win a great day for you

Might be worth visiting the stadium when there isn’t a game mate . and your less tense.

4.) 08 Dec 2019 18:52:11
Second what Gunner said. Sing loud, enjoy and you never know.

5.) 08 Dec 2019 19:33:32
Thanks all.

6.) 08 Dec 2019 19:41:02
My first visit to the emirate was watching international match brazil vs italt it was great experience, but my second was a carling cup match against man city, we lost 0-1 I think, but nonetheless of the lose ut was an awesome day watching my team playing live even more enjoyable than brazil italy game.
However, I think we will turn up against city.

{Ed047's Note - I think we have to turn up Moe or the club will get fined if the they don’t fulfil the fixture! 😉

7.) 08 Dec 2019 19:49:05
:-) 047.

8.) 08 Dec 2019 23:46:09
Oh sorry ed mate, I meant to say we will be turned over hahahahah.

29 Nov 2019 18:07:29
Freddie out. just kidding 😊.

1.) 29 Nov 2019 18:32:24
To be fair what's he done since taking over? Absolutely nothing!
Freddie out :-)
The next full time manager out too because he's not done any better either :-)

2.) 29 Nov 2019 18:35:44
What do you mean, Freddie out? Since he took over as manager we haven't lost a game!

3.) 29 Nov 2019 19:18:02
No goals conceded
NO goals scored
NO chances conceded
NO chances created
Boring boring Freddie out out out :-)

4.) 29 Nov 2019 20:21:15
We havnt even strung a pass together he has to go.

5.) 29 Nov 2019 21:57:14
Absolutely he's had his chance, not a single trophy in over 12 hours in charge, big mistake HUGE :-)
FREDDIE HUMBUG if you ask me,

29 Nov 2019 14:30:37
Sky bet I had Allegri at 12/ 1 and within minutes he was 11/ 10 apparently already in talks.

29 Nov 2019 10:19:48
Allegri please let it be him.

1.) 29 Nov 2019 11:13:06
Yep. The standout candidate from those mentioned as in the frame. The 64 million dollar question is does he want to come?

2.) 29 Nov 2019 12:42:10
Why wouldn't he want to, at the end of the day we are a massive club going through a temporary poor spell. If the money is right, he will come. Not my first choice, but i think he will be hard on the players, which is what we need from the manager as they are as much responsible for current performances as Emery. We need a manager who makes the players responsible for their actions, and who is brave enough to drop players immediately who either underperform, or who do not follow instructions.

3.) 29 Nov 2019 13:07:07
I understand that he was spoken to before Emery was appointed. I gather he was less than enamoured with the structure at Arsenal and what his role would be. It's no secret that Emery was not our first choice.

In other words, it's nothing to do with the size or relative greatness of the club.

29 Nov 2019 09:26:51

1.) 29 Nov 2019 10:15:01
Couldn’t carry on - a relief really, just need to start again now.

2.) 29 Nov 2019 10:30:15
I can start celebrating goals now.

3.) 29 Nov 2019 12:00:49
Allegri would be great and let’s celebrate not letting in goals! Not holding my breath as pretty sure Ed 02 said Allegri didn’t like our set up and also waiting for another position Bayern perhaps COYG.
