Surely no one comes close to RG61? what a legend! The life he must have lived! Neighbours with Poch and Alderwield, had a private jet, a house in Monaco, an Italian supermodel wife, played high level football, a really nice car, much nicer than the Ravers.

Champagne Charlie was Dags first incarnation Mark, he ditched it to become Dagenham Gunner AKA the one and only Dags who all posters on all pages grew to know and love ?.

Hi Mark, I just remember Dags saying he used to post as Champagne Charlie but decided to change to Dagenham Gunner, I can only tell you what Dags said at the time mate but I have no reason to doubt him.

By the time I joined the site around 10 years ago he was already using Dags as his username.

I've obviously suffered from false memory syndrome once again and mixed two events together to invent a false memory for myself, much like many other people I genuinely once thought I remembered the monopoly man on the front of the box wearing a monocle which apparently he never did and also captain Kirk saying " beam me up Scotty " which apparently he never actually came out with either ?

I was Tony soprano as well, I was doing a lot messing around on here back then, it was different sort of forum 13-14. Years ago. A lot of talking shyte but not really over the top, we had some fun.

I remember joining the site and you being here already Mark, you were infamous for posting lots of crazy rumours back then, if I remember rightly this tone ?

It was a lot of fun back then too with us all trying to guess each others jobs and real names, I remember Dags was Charles and Banbury/ Oxfordshire was Marcus (I'm guessing he still is ?)

Me too SW, they along with quite a few other ex posters made this page and constant source of fun and debate in pretty much equal measures.
