My honest opinion - watching Wenger today at the press conference we will sign a defender and christian bilecik but not a DM. Asked about the DM, he seemed not interested and it seemed genuine to me. Maybe he intends to let coquelin take that spot

I think they have taken a more buisness approach to this. If MS is available for £25m in the summer and AW is happy to pay that then he will wait 6months to complete the deal
If this is the case it would be an extremely poor decision to sign a stop gap or change targets for the sale of 6 months

I'm not sure Wenger prefers Campbell over Podolski & Sanogo. I believe he felt Sanogo would benefit from playing regularly in the Premier League, which wouldn't be possible at Arsenal, with Giroud & Welbeck ahead of him. In addition he will want to promote Akom, so he signs a contract extension. In respect of Podolski, he must have misbehaved, as is form towards the end of last season was decent & he was always good for a goal. Campbell has the advantage of being relatively experienced & can play centrally, as well as wide.

Very excited for Aubameyang. Hoping the rest of the season will convince Ozil to stay, and for crying out loud get a proper holding midfielder - how Arsene cannot see that gaping weakness is beyond me, it's surreal. Seri is the obvious choice and not even that expensive.

We have to get Kroenke out of the club.
Still, Wenger may have put the noose around his own neck by not adding to the squad and having a firesale. A couple of bad results and it's going to turn really nasty, especially if the team spirit and confidence go south.
He could have signed his own p45.

Sterling to Arsenal is the nail in the coffin. It's worse than a bad joke. Walcott scored 20 goals last season, he's got more threat than sterling. This news would send me over the edge, and to be honest I'm not far off it, its a shambles and the hold top of the club is rotten.

Walcott scored 20 goals last year, he's completely loyal to the club yet still gets the fans hate. Completely ridiculous IMO.
