Chill out everyone. We all (or most) wanted changes at the top. we got it so let's see what the bigger picture is. With what emery was left with we all knew it'd take time, that's why we've been harping on about the same players week after week.
You can only work with tools (operative word) you've been given.
There's no money to burn, but let's see what he has learnt from the group he has and where he wants to improve. There's games we've picked up points where we'd of not last season. The players are not world beaters, but at least most are putting in a shift, not all, but most.
We can all shout from the rooftops what needs to happen, but let's just take step back and see bigger picture. Guardiola, Klopp went through tough 1st seasons, and I'm not for one minute putting us in same category, but they worked with resources they had, so has dick

Great post mate, it's like electing a new government and expecting them to put right a decade of recession and turn us back into the super power we once was in 3 months.
We are finally moving forward again but some people seem to think Emery should have a magic wand and should have turned us into City's main rivals by now?
Surely some realisim is needed from some fans.

Willock is gone mate, the deal has already been announced. It's a good deal for the player as I don't see him getting game time at Arsenal, we have lost a good player though. I wish there was a way we could have kept him and given him chances the way Sanogo and Akpom kept getting chances.

Gunner254 it's called a buy-back clause. Like the sort of clause our genius management could have put in the contract for Gnabry. While we bid for Lemar. I'm aware that it's not a box you check, but to suggest I don't know about negotiations is wrong. That is what I do professionally.
If Gnabry, an U21 international, who was highly respected back home, is to be sold, well, you include a buy-back or sell-on clause. Yes, this lowers the immediate return you get for him; we must really have needed the £5M Bremen paid. And I know the kid didn't come good on loan at West Brom, but still, foresight.
All of these things get negotiated. We don't negotiate or don't know how, as evidenced by today's reported £15M bid for Jorginho. Seriously, it's like we don't know what we're doing.

Have said yes. New manager, new tactics, majority of inherited squad, but showing a fighting spirit that was lacking in past seasons. Rome wasn't built in a day, the excitement is surely in the curiosity of what lies ahead.
