The annoying thing is, us fans are all looking at the same players regarding who we think would add the right quality, Van Dijk, Siri, draxler, marhez as well as a few other we've been constantly linked with all summer but it all comes down to who's a bargain. Who Wenger can get signed up for less than what their valuation is.
I just wish someone when Wenger starts talking about how crazy players cost these days, they remind him how crazy arsenal fans pay to see games. Arsenal boycot players for there value, us fans should do the same on game day.

The eds have said all summer that we'd put an offer on the table but he wasn't interested. It's not a surprise, it's just tabloids and twitter talking nonsense and people hoping the eds are wrong. But time and time again they prove they know what they're talking about, which is only disappointing for us as it means we won't be making any big signings.

Hey Ed025 heard a rumour regarding Valencias hand has weakened due to the needing to balance the books to comply with financial fairplay regulations and also that Liverpool are now interested and insight would be much appreciated.
{Ed025's Note - valencia do have serious money issues xxc, but they have set the price for mustafi and look like they wont budge, but im sure someone will offer very near the asking price but im not sure if it will be liverpool or not...at the moment it does not look like arsenal will though mate..

Hearing Rumours on Greizman to Arsenal, Apparently we've been in talks with Athletico for months and Lacazette is out last option.

A lot of people have been sort of hinting or suggesting this on social media, but it just won't happen.
But it's all really stemmed from things like Atleti signing Gameiro and still in for Costa, I even saw some people using the Griezmann plays as Arsenal on Football manager pictures as evidence ( he had a good set up in fairness, might be just as good as manager! )
Trust me, if it did happen, Arsene can have a 15 year contract with my blessing, it'd be a ridiculously good signing and I'd have nothing but praise for the club if they moved for him.
But here's the thing.
First off, Atleti have few strikers at the moment.
Vietto is/ is going on loan (I think he's already gone)
So they're left with (first team) Gameiro, Griezmann, Torres and Correa (who is meant to be a striker but plays mostly as a '10' I think. don't quote me) so they already only have 3 strikers, one of whom is close to the pension queue!
Even if they did sign Costa, which would certainly rely on Chelsea signing another striker, I can't see that being reason to move.
Secondly and probably most importantly, he signed a new deal this year.
Atletico aren't short of cash and don't need to sell.
If we we're to get him, I assume we'd have to meet the release clause (I know ed says we shouldn't bother ourselves with clauses, but this time it leads to a point! ) which I assume would be a British transfer record fee (pre Pogba) and we just aren't ever going to spend that money.
The time that Arsene spends £70-80m on a player, is when the going rate is £120-150m.
Don't get me wrong, like I said, it would be stellar.
I'd hand write an apology to Arsene and probably name my first born after him (it's a girl, tough, these are the rules) but it just won't happen.

Fair points there RG my only point with chambers is he was quite good before he joined us as many players as you say a new manager who will actually let us tackle in training might change our opinions on Young chambers I think he has promise imo and I completely agree with you about xhaka 100% ;)

In all fairness aren't these new guys in charge of transfers? So the comments about the manager only having 50 mill to spend in my opinion is not that bad it could mean that's what he's got to spend on transfers of his choice could be wrong but I don't think everyone should read into it that much.
