So sky sources are confirming what we all knew. City Chelsea and Liverpool all want ox. It's a funny one he really hadn't earned a new contract for me. Bit like Theo was, in and out the team being very inconsistent and just not doing enough for me. Now a year left on his contract and he was playing well in the new formation and the big premier league clubs want him. How did that happen 😂.

The Ox will arrive Liverpool or Chelsea as a man approaching his prime but with he will always be a kid with time on his side, same for Ramsey Jack Theo and Gibbs, if they stay they will always be youngsters with great potential and then suddenly retire as could have beens.
In the football world none of them are exactly kids anymore but because they've been with us so long from such and early age most of and especially Arsene can't help but see them as youngsters who will come good eventually if we stick by them.

Why Is that tho. I mean I don't personally put it down to us not playing them enough as we've given each of them a decent run in the team. Is it that we put up with average performances too much from them.

" he's Arsenal through and through " is something I used to hear a lot about our younger underperforming players when I first joined this site 16 mate along with ' He's good in the changing room' about all the underperforming older players.
Sentiment has played a huge part in our stagnation imo, people have been all for us becoming competitive again as long as nothing changed regarding club favorites.
Arsene has been extremely loyal to underperforming players for a very long time but he has been far from on his own in this and it has unintentionally lead to the cosy club forming.
It's not a case of pointing fingers at anyone just an observation and a genuine opinion of how we all got where we are why.
