Hopefully Sanchez is back next week, who do you drop for him?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Against the spurs it has to be ozil ATM, would say Ramsey but against them everyone needs to work and ozil won't track back

Agree0 Disagree0

Tough one, ozil provides the passes and not the work rate, theo is not ready for the hustle and bustle. Me I prefer a fit sancez and a fit ox at the moment, but is the ox fit. Tottenham will be full blooded unlike today.

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Feb 2015 23:03:47
Think 337 has not the nail on the head.

Agree0 Disagree0

I've thought about it and your right Lee its the only option, unbelievably it has to be Mesut which is harsh but the right thing to do.

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't get me wrong guys there will be other times when ozil will be more suited than Ramsey or theo, what a great problem to have, forgot about the ox!

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Feb 2015 23:59:43
Think Ozil also, Villa didn't really get physical with him today but Spurs will

Agree0 Disagree0

02 Feb 2015 00:11:28
no, Ozil and Alexis start on the wings, bring theo on at around 65 mins when their LB and RB's are knackered to punish them

Agree0 Disagree0

Ozil today ducked out of a clearing header in the second half at the edge of the box. We will need full blooded comittment next Saturday . Both him and theo would be great to bring on if needed next week.

Agree0 Disagree0

I would start sanchez and rosicky over ozil and theo. Both just give that bit more energy

Agree0 Disagree0

I think that sanchez fever has taken over the arsenal team, once paulista comes in with his hard tackles and we get the right players in the summer with a DM and a forward/winger I think we can do some serious damage.

of note I noticed many of you guys seem to think ozil did not have a physical game, he actually had the highest amount of sprints and second highest in terms of coverage, and not sure if anyone noticed but he lasted 90 mins, I rarely see him that long, perhaps wenger sees some sort of change for him to keep him on 90 mins.

besides that pass along is worth the game.

Agree0 Disagree0

Poldolski leaves teams work rate improves 5000% even Ozil catches the bug, coincidence? Yeah most probably but Poldolski was a lazy so and so and a big popular influence amongst his team mates

Agree0 Disagree0

Im tempted by bacons call, with theo to come on on 60mins when everyones tired

Agree0 Disagree0

It's a headache that we have been craving for so long isn't it, my choice would naturally be:
Sanchez LW
Theo RW
Giroud ST

But will theo still lacking a little sharpness I think Ozil for me too.
Ospina, Bellerin, BFG, Kos, Monreal, Le Coq, Santi, Ramsey, Sanchez, Ozil, Giroud. That line up is pretty scary IMO

Last season we were top of the pile for many months.

We were getting plaudits and praise from all over.

This season, much criticism from pundits and even Arsenal supporters.

But, as G62 said earlier, we are only 7 points worse off than last season.

Its a funny 'ol game as Greavsie would say.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

01 Feb 2015 21:25:49
11 points behind Chelsea.

Maybe?

You know what I'm thinking? :-)

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Well dags we play cHelski at home 4 games before the end of the season so who knows aye, once wager the spurs out the way we have a really good run till chelski so that's where we can rack up the points :) COYG!

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Feb 2015 22:13:42
True Essex,

Its only a pipe dream but you never know mate.

Agree0 Disagree0

What are you smoking in that pipe dags.

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Feb 2015 23:11:32
Steve,

Did you know, I was so shocked when I read about the effects of smoking, I gave up reading.

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Feb 2015 21:21:22
A good win deserves a good joke.

My phobia of moving stairs is getting worse.

In fact, its escalating.

(Go on Ed, I know what you are going to say) :-)

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - i wont say nothing dags...we all have our ups and downs mate..

01 Feb 2015 21:54:29
Good one Ed :-)

Agree0 Disagree0

Yet another flight of fancy from dags

Agree0 Disagree0

That's wrong on so many levels!

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Feb 2015 23:14:37
I proposed to my girlfriend on an escalator.

It was moving.

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Feb 2015 21:17:02
David Ospina is worth £3m.

But, being Columbian, I guess he has a street value of £20m.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - good stuff dags..

That joke was dope

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - so is the teller DG.. :)

Life in the old Day yet, the fight back begins 737 has been warned

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Feb 2015 21:55:26
Its not to be sniffed at mate.

Agree0 Disagree0

You don't cut it with me Dags

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - so put that in your pipe and smoke it dags..

Nice one Dags - get in there!!

Agree0 Disagree0

"weed" all like to "crack" jokes but I'm not getting involved in this subject, I'm "just saying no"

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Feb 2015 23:18:50
Lol 337 :-)

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Feb 2015 20:27:42
Great result today, for me Coq should have been man of he match.q great takes and interceptions all game. I thought everyone looked good but Walcott still seems to be lacking match fitness, he took his goal well but still seems to be avoiding a few challenges

Believable0 Unbelievable0

01 Feb 2015 23:48:28
Think it will be a few more games until we see the best of Theo, but he is playing well.

Coq is a monster.

Funny enough, that's not the first time I have said that :-)

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Feb 2015 19:58:49
Dzeko any1

Believable0 Unbelievable0

If we could get dzeko for 20m i'd be happy with him, I rate him, he's quality. Him sneiderling and Czech, would make me very happy.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - i cant think of anything that might make you happy steve..well maybe if you seen a chair walk.. :)

That lady on the advert below, could make me very happy.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - love it steve..

Dzeko no no no

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed It must be something in the water up your way. My mates an evertonian and he's a closet arsenal fan. I suppose its because of the close proximity of them red teams and wanting them sorted. The only trouble is we haven't managed it as often as he would like.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - arsenal and everton are proper football clubs thats why steve..

In place of who?

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Feb 2015 19:50:54
Ed025 (if you are around).

Very good win for The Toffee's away to Palace.

Onwards and upwards?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - we were lucky dags, one swallow does not make a summer mate, 3 of our next 4 are liverpool, chelsea and arsenal...we will see where we are then..

01 Feb 2015 20:05:54
Agree Ed,

But sometimes all it takes is one win mate.

Football is 50% talent and 50% confidence Ed.

Let's just hope that kicks in after the Arsenal game :-)

Agree0 Disagree0

Tough games both ways them Ed, only a fool would think otherwise before facing Everton.
If Liverpool chavs or us take you lightly we will pay the price, your not playing well but you are a very capable outfit mate

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - not playing like a team though G62, "something is rotten in the state of denmark" as they say..

01 Feb 2015 21:09:26
Quoting Bill Shakespeare are we now Ed?

Love it.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - "alas poor dags, you know me well".. :)

Everton were lucky palace have a championship striker uptop

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Feb 2015 19:42:36
On a good run now, but where would we have been if better prepared with a few signings before the start of the season

Believable0 Unbelievable0

The what if crowd shows up, no time to enjoy the big win. Let's refuse to let the naysayers and Arsene out crowd get us down tonight ;-))

I would like to see us run the table with an invincible worthy run in us getting into the top 3 and challenge for the title, defend the FA Cup and a deep run in the CL. That's right let's shoot high, historic double in the cards?

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Feb 2015 19:38:37
Derby what do you reckon to a late bid for jonjo Shelvey? after all he did scored today :-)
I saw your reply further down, cheers mate hope last night was a good one

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Chuffed saints lost. In terms of a late bid for shelvy i'm unsure if we have the funds LOL. He can strike a ball but not a fan of him tbh. I end up pulling my hair out watching him.

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Feb 2015 19:19:18
Gotta say I've always followed the youth and since the start of last season I've had a list of 4 youngsters who I really thought could make it. That list:
Bellerin
Gnabry
Zelalem
Akpom

Bellerin has been brilliant since coming in for Debuchy. I was a bit worried about him defensively but he has been solid defending and a real threat attacking. Was dissapointed he didn't feature more last year but is playing well now and growing in confidence each game.

Gnabry obviously has been injured this season and just coming back. Hopefully he gets some game time before the season ends. Don't really understand why he didn't get more minutes last year either having scored his first goal against Swansea then having that great game against the spurs so I was quite baffled when he hardly played anymore but he still has a big future.

Zelalem I wouldn't expect to see anytime soon but anyone who watched last seasons pre season games will know he looks extremely talented and has great vision. He is very highly rated by everyone at the club and I know it sounds vey forward because he is still so young but it's hard not to see him breaking into the first team eventually.

Last but not least Akpom. He is the one that I was least confident about. Not because I didn't think he was talented but because we built up the likes of Afobe and J.E.T up and they didn't make it but there is something different about Chuba. He is too good for reserve level now and hopefully keeps getting these first team chances and hopefully signs a new contract because I really think he's going to be a great player. I mean just ask sanchez he don't call him Titi for nothing.

Oh and just a side note its great to see our internal solutions working out. Coquelin hasn't put a foot wrong and hopefully continues to play well and same goes for ospina.

.

01 Feb 2015 19:10:39
WENGER OUT!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Patience WG were closing in on last season now we are only 7pts behind this time last year, who knows we could end up with a better 4th than ever before :-)
I think we should put the first half of this season very firmly and totally down to injuries and the naughty naughty stadium:-)

Agree0 Disagree0

Now that's funny!

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't get me going.

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Feb 2015 18:55:56
When everybody is fit/available, is this our biggest/best squad for many a year?

I think so.

I would be happy to finish 3rd/4th this season and if we pick up FA Cup again, I would be happy Dags.

But, next season, with maybe 2 good quality additions, I expect us to be challenging big time for top spot.

I know its a long way off, but anything less and questions need to be asked.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

01 Feb 2015 19:35:08
What 2 quality additions dags? And I'm talking positions more than names

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Feb 2015 19:48:27
I notice no-one is mentioning Champions League. semi's with a good run?

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Feb 2015 19:56:33
Absolutely D16.

We don't need a Reus or a Mata, we need a Schneiderlin and a Winston Reid.

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Feb 2015 20:10:11
Bilbo,

Not sure why, probably years of failing miserably in CL, but I never 'plan' for it at start of season.

We normally qualify from group stages, but after that, we go no further (obviously, apart from Barca final).

But, maybe this year?

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm not saying we will do it- but for the first time in a long while I firmly believe there is no club out there we couldn't beat - albeit on a good day with pretty much all of our squad available.
For once we CAN rest a few people - even it it is just one or two and some of the others get a 60 min game instead of 90.
For the last few years we have always had a depleted/knackered squad for all the important games -now we are much stronger.

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Feb 2015 23:49:38
Totally agree Exiled.

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Feb 2015 17:59:17
The league table looks a lot healthier after this weekend's results, here's hoping we keep this run going.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Great chance to go 3rd next weekend for a couple of hours at least.
Plus The Hammer's Everton and QPR are more than capable of winning their games too so a very good weekend is there to be had if we keep doing what we are doing right now

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Feb 2015 17:53:20
Great result for us at Southampton.

:)

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Wanyama and sneiderling missing, they still looked good though, but all credit to a battling swans.

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Feb 2015 17:45:27
Swansea incredibly 1 up away at Southampton

Believable0 Unbelievable0

01 Feb 2015 17:36:53
I can't see Sanchez getting back into the team.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

He's going to struggle now, the bench I should imagine :)

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah right, that's the funniest joke yet dagala!

Agree0 Disagree0

If sancez had been there it would have been seven lol.

Agree0 Disagree0

Of course we will always be better with the absolutely brilliant Sanchez but today does show we can do well if we have to be without him
I still think Giroud is a bigger miss for the team than any other player and who without we struggle most

Agree0 Disagree0

Gunner today was about getting three points without any fuss. Villa were hopeless, job done. Ozil and walcott got valuable game time and we go into next week, stronger, so spurs get blown away. And sancez back hopefully.

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Feb 2015 17:29:11
What do we think about chambers - Gabriel partnership in the future?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

01 Feb 2015 20:01:23
Noe, I'm not one for blowing my own trumpet (toot toot), but before the season even kicked off, I did post, on numerous occasions, that if everybody at the back is fit and healthy, we should consider playing Chambers at DM due to his physique, defensive qualities and lung capacity.

Hate to say I told you so, lol.

Now, where did I put my metal polish?

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Feb 2015 17:19:12
Promising run-out for Akpom once again. He reminds me of Anelka back in his Arsenal day. Seems to know how to apply his pace very well and spot the dangerous areas to run into. Looks set to be incredibly promising, and with enough of these crucial sub appearances in the coming games, it seems it's only a matter of time before he'll get that necessary first goal

Believable0 Unbelievable0

01 Feb 2015 19:36:28
I'm not a sanago hater. But how on earth did he get so much game time when akpom was there

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Feb 2015 21:14:14
That's a fair point D16.

I think he was on loan at Brentford though, getting valuable game time.

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Feb 2015 17:13:02
Firstly an excellent performance against a poor Villa team ( where would they be without the start they had? ) Ironically our injury problems have helped with Hector, Monreal and Le Coq getting game time and proving most players need to play themselves into form. Think we have great options in all positions except DM. Le Coq injured and we don't have adequate replacement. Can see Wenger opening his front door and saying welcome Mr Schneiderlein. Bring on next week COYG

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Feb 2015 15:59:40
as an ex- keeper (sunday league) someone should mention Ospina - not much to do, but three games, three clean sheets, looks solid claiming the ball and commanding the area, distribution good. So will be interesting to see what he is like as a shot stopper over next few games.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

He was good, made an impt save to keep us in the lead and towards the end a flying save. Also someone shld mention monreal has another great game. BG I hope your eating humble pie now

Agree0 Disagree0

I didn't say Monreal is crap//////////// I said he is our worst player.

I stand by that, he still is

Agree0 Disagree0

OzilB

Correct, he has been excellent Shezza has a job on his hands .

Agree0 Disagree0

Ohh come on u are being hard. Are you seriously telling me he is better than Gibbs ATM. No way

Agree0 Disagree0

The hood you make me laugh with your replies, you are the Murray Walker of the banter page.lol

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Feb 2015 21:57:54
More like Murray mint :-)

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Feb 2015 15:28:23
Lovely to see a BIG club with a great youth policy and academy coming to fruition. Coquelan, Bellerin, Akpom, Walcott and Gibbs on the bench . I think we've answered the one man team rubbish as well. Hitting form at the right time. By far the most in form team in the country and still in with a shout of 3 trophies. Bring on the spurs :-)

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Now is just jostling, april, is when the men stand up and the boys fail. Hope you are still posting the same then.

Agree0 Disagree0

Nice war cry Davros!

Agree0 Disagree0

You have answered it very well

Most of us couldn't count . you are a two man team

Agree0 Disagree0

Davros should just add how are you the most inform team in the UK??

spurs have won 4 out of the last 6 PL games, we have won 5 out of 6?

Do you want a calculator?

Now hop it, come back when you can do simple maths

Agree0 Disagree0

BG I suggest you read his post again, no where he said that spurs are the most inform team, he just said bring on Spurs.

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Feb 2015 17:01:47
Bambam,

Davros is a Gooner lol

Agree0 Disagree0

Is he??

Sorry Davvy an afternoon in the pub didn't help hic?

Agree0 Disagree0

I kept thinking Davros was a good guy Dags but because 373 is always picking on me I didn't like to say anything in case I was rong

Agree0 Disagree0

^^^^^ lol^^^^^

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Feb 2015 18:33:19
Jeez,

You lot are lost without me, lol.

Agree0 Disagree0

We are like fish without fins, without you dags.

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't pick on you B52, I'm the victim!

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Feb 2015 20:03:20
Like a guide dog to the blind Steve :-)

Agree0 Disagree0

We are like ant without dec when you're not around dags

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - like george michael without andrew ridgely you mean 337.. :)

01 Feb 2015 15:27:30
Villa are relegation fodder. Caz and coq the rocks and doing their jobs brilliantly. Like the akbomb. Ozil did what ozil does, needs to up his weight training to two bags of sugar now.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

01 Feb 2015 15:45:59
someones ego is smarting

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Feb 2015 16:34:21
Steve - give Ozil a break, he is class and has bulked up well. :)

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - jury is still out for me SY..

Sy4 I am not being funny, but if he's been on the weightd, he's put as much effort into weight training as has into tracking back. He is a luxury player, when he produces, he's fine but if he doesn't produce, I see no other traits to get him through. Just my opinion.

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Feb 2015 15:26:58
Well I never thought it would of been 5! Great game, great goal by bellerin, glad to see Ozil get an assist and goal, theo seems to be getting back to the way he was, le coq showed again why he deserves to start every game! Ospina showed why he should be our no.1, we seem so much more assured with him in goal :) buzzing!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Totally agree with you about Ospina. He inspires confidence in me as a fan and a viewer when he's in goal, we look so much more assured and solid.

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Feb 2015 15:22:01
Excellent 5-0 win

V Good shout Steve

3 clean sheets on the bounce . unheard of lol

I do like the look of Bellerin an excellent future prospect. I wonder what Chambers is thinking??

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - what a great club iv joined, im so lucky?..

V lucky IMO

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't think Chambers needs to worry too much because 1) everyone knows he's better built for the centre than to play as a RB; and 2) when he joined aged 19, he surely wasn't expecting to get anything like as many starts as he has had. He should still get the odd run-out off the bench when we're trying to park a bus and looking for a fifth player at the back (especially while Gabby is still at English evening class), but if he really wants to start, maybe we could try throwing him in at CDM again alongside Coq

Agree0 Disagree0

Correct, I think chamber had too much thrust on him too soon, I think he will be first choice in two years, and good cover until then.

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Feb 2015 15:13:26
So so impressed with a number of players who I would only have considered squad/fringe players a few months back! Ospina, Monreal, Bellerin, Coquelin, Rosicky, Akpom! All looking very good! Current squad depth is very very promising :)

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Quite simply a very good post RB

Agree0 Disagree0

Totally agree with you apart from Rosicky, because I've always considered him a very important part of our squad who is at times underused.

I've particularly been impressed with Bellerin and Monreal, Coquelin has been a revelation but both fullbacks have been so dominant in their respective positions and have become vital players in the past few weeks, which at the start of the season I couldn't have imagined saying.

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Feb 2015 15:06:43
When you think we have Wilshire, Wellbeck, Sanchez, Debuchy and Ox out it shows some strength in depth.

Its getting them available that's the problem

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - its a great squad BG, one or 2 quality additions will make arsenal a real contender next season, im sure of that mate..

It is getting better for sure, we even have a couple of decent keepers, RB is well covered, CB equally well. LB not so sure. Midfield in good nick. . . maybe someone else up top??

Agree0 Disagree0

Controversial but hey ho. Maybe the likes of walcott, gibbs, wilshire even the ox rosicky and any player that is injured more than not, should be sold on and replaced by a more robust model. Injuries are a major dilemma for us and it seems to be the same players. I like nearly all said players but we don't see the best from them for weeks and months. Players must be available to play and not playing cards in the treatment room.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - i dont understand fans like you steve, its a squad game and requires more than one player for each position, injuries are part of the game mate and instead of berating these players, you should be delighted that they are part of your set up, why the negativity after the way arsenal are playing?..

Ed 025, I am not berating anyone at all, my point is if a player spends more time in the treatment room, than on the pitch, you end up with a squad that is always stretched. The same players at arsenal, seem to be persistent offenders who most of the time are not there to contribute. If I had as much time offvas them i'd be sacked.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - its all the same the world over steve players get injuries, its a contact sport mate..

Monreal :) and Wilshire for sure .

Rosicky I think has been great and could well have a part from the bench, not sure why Arteta has got another deal though.

Agree0 Disagree0

No it is not the same all over the world, top teams don't entertain players with bad injury records. Why are madrid selling or not offering khedera, a new contract. why is Falcao available. Top teams pay top money and don't tolerate injury prone players. i'm not on about injuries, that is part and parcel, imon about injury prone players. And by the way if read my first post, I like a lot of these player, i'm just not being sentimental.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - i think your being harsh steve..

Diaby has to go

Surely??

Agree0 Disagree0

Banbury one of my points is, i'm a fan of a lot of the players mentioned, more so than monreal, but if monreal was as injury prone as gibbs, where would we be and that's a problem that we all know needs sorting. Its about the fact that some of our better players are always out on a regular basis, that can't happen. Some of them get injured cleaning their teeth.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed it's tough love.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - dont know about the love part steve...but its certainly tough mate..

01 Feb 2015 14:33:22
Now eds I have seen you lot saying no more deals this month and I believe one said the January transfer kitty has been used. However on that note I'm wondering if someone we like suddenly become a valuable tomorrow would arsenal buy or is there actually no more money to spend this month

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - I don't know which Ed has told you that.}

01 Feb 2015 15:18:39
Apologies I can't remember which one said it. No worries :)

Agree0 Disagree0

It was probably that ed025 I think she said that "she didn't see any more signings" but then she does tend to indulge a bit too much in the southern comfort, and is also an Everton fan (only just though).

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - it may have been me 337, i do tend to be a bit negative at times, thats all part of being an evertonian mate.. :)

It's ok mate, you must be leaning a bit further to the red side today, you're nearly there, c'mon admit it?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - as much as i like arsenal 337, my blood will always be blue mate, us evertonians are born not manufactured..

01 Feb 2015 13:41:42
Suicidal from villa this will be 5 or 6.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - thats at half time steve..

Don't be too sure Steve

Good start though and Giroud shows again why he is very much needed

Agree0 Disagree0

We need a 2nd that for sure

Agree0 Disagree0

We will get 2nd, 3rd, and more, villa are all over the shop.

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Feb 2015 13:39:23
That's what ozil offers, what a touch another great start.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

01 Feb 2015 13:39:07
That is an outrageous touch from ozil, COYG!!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I wonder if this is going to be a repeat of last season when after the day after the game Is deadline day and we signed Ozil but this time we sign Reus instead :) would be very nice!
On another note my prediction is 4-0, giroud to bag a brace, Walcott and santi to get the others :) COYG!

OOOhh no Sanchez!

4-1 to us, Theo with 2, Ozil and OG one each.

Agree0 Disagree0

Damn that clean sheet, damn that Bellerin, damn that Cazorla, messed my prediction up!

Theo would have got another if he stayed on, looking sharp.

Raver and his mates must be cr4pping themselves, Theo looking sharp, Sanchez rested and will be fired, OG scoring for fun, Ozil looking much happier, le Coq looks the real deal, Cazorla magical, Ospina catching every cross - bring on the spurs!

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - your quite happy then?..

Yeah spose so, a little happy!

Surely there can't be any fans moaning after our last 3 games, can there?

Just looked at todays squad, looks like either Cazorla or Ozil is playing on the wing. Forever going in circles.

Caz has got to play in the middle. Beca massive mistake to put caz out wide.

A lot of love out there for Ozil from the players this week - rightly so in my opinion
Theo kind of highlights why he struggled at the end of last season but when surrounded by the right players gets the most out of them and makes the team better.
Also read an article about Ozil's unselfish runs for the team which you may not always notice but the team benefits eg Germany's first and second goals against Holland
With the right players around him now Theo, Sanchez, Rambo, Danny etc we will see the real Ozil. A player who likes to make the team better, happy to run from the Middle to out wide to create space and drag defenders out of position if it means it helps the team. A defender he is not but he does track back. Lazy, he is not - look at the turf he covers. Important to the team - he sure is and should be one of the first on the team sheet. Like all our players - let's get behind him in good games as well as poor games because that's when supporters are really needed

Do you think one day we will EVER have a first choice 15 or 16 players to pick from

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Possibly for one week at some point in time but for a month or 2 seems unlikely.
I don't think anyone knows why I'm sure if they did they'd change it but we are INJURIES R US of football and have to cope accordingly I guess

Agree0 Disagree0

We had that against man city.

Looking forward to the summer, who does everyone expect to leave?

Personally I would not be surprised to see Theo leave along with Flamini and potentially Arteta. Even more surprisingly I would not be particularly disappointed with any of these departures (assuming good enough replacements arrived) which, especially the departure of Theo, would of been unthinkable a season or two ago. Thoughts?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Who I expect to leave? Flamini and probably campbell and podolski. Who I would like to leave? Flamini, szczesny, campbell, podolski and welbeck for me. (Assuming we could get Schneiderlin, Reus, Lloris and Martinez as replacements (yes, I know i'm living in a dream world))
