Well it's all tight at the top. And Steve stared there's no one team who has looked head and shoulders yet. Top5-6 playing decent but all with frailties as yet. Chelsea in the mix again but do they have consistency to las the season? Are Liverpool going to blow out of steam?

Like the song, there are more questions than answers. No one team standing out as yet. City were but frailties have derailed that, liverpool the same, chelsea have they sorted theirs, toots, well wobbly legs appear, utd seem to be full of egos and us, we aren't averse to a few frailties ourselves. Southampton, everton, Leicester and west ham all cable of troubling all.

I don't think the muddy water will be any clearer until Feb/ March.

I think I said this last week but the thing I like about us is when we have a less than perfect day at the office someone seems to be stepping up to the plate.

In saturdays case it was Cech. That's what I really like about this squad, covering each other's backs. It's impossible to have a perfect starting 11.

It's a long way to go and all of the current top 5 are looking capable and it's quite likely all could still be in the mix come February, March.

Who will be January's big spenders?

After Montreal allowed someone in behind twice in the first half kos picked up on that weakness and it didn't happen again. They do all seem to be working for each other. It's wide open! Jan will be interesting.

Except for the tme in the second half he left because for dead on the left and made cech make a worldy to his right and when mustaffi rugby takled ramirez on the left 10 mins later and took a yellow ( could have been red ) to stop him with monreal nowhere to be seen. I don't quite think they stopped it like you say.

With a quarter of the season gone and all the millions of pounds spent, i don't see a stand out "team". So like last season i think it will be down to which manager can find the formula for the team that suits them best and be the strongest week after week. I think every team in the top 10 or 12 have improved and it will be down to which manager can find the system to take them through to the end. Money will have no bearing again this year just like last. It will be down to coaching.

The big 7 clubs are as expected are all in poll position and only 1 point sepreates 1st and 5th place while even utd in 7th can't be discounted by any means yet.
Back in the summer I hoped this season might prove to be one of the most exciting in years and so far it's looking highly likely I might turn out that way.

I still think we are front runners.

Man City don't worry me. No Yaya or Kompany and they are very weakened.

Chelsea look good but are too vulnerable at the back.

Man Utd still have obvious weaknesses.
Still average at the back and no midfield creativity.

Liverpool look good. Very well balanced. They worry me.

The same can be said for Spurs.

Admittedly I post with rose tinted glasses, but I think we have the best balance, best squad and best team harmony than the others.

We are favourites in my book.

DG - I agree with you. A lot will depend on injuries which benefits teams not playing in Champs league

Very happy that Wenger is ensuring Giroud and Ramsey have a full pre-season and raring to go come December

Really want to see how we handle November especially PSG as that will give us an idea of the season ahead.

In paper - the best squad we have had since invincibles. Still think the starting 11 could be improved and still not sure Sanchez is our answer up front. Could well be, given our budget but still would like a tricky winger to help move parked buses as well as a world class striker who just needs one chance.

The margins are that slender.

All the teams have weaknesses and questions marks next to them, ours include character and mentality to go the distance.
We can argue against that all we want but until we actually put in a serious challenge that question mark is always going to be there about us.

As above Steve, as above :-) .

Agree SY4, injuries will play a major part.

Think the next area to strengthen would be LB. We've become a lot more solid with the emergence of Bellerin and brining in Mustafi and Cech. But you're only as strong as your weakest link the last two league games Monreal has been targeted and average wingers such as Barrow and Adama Traore (no disrespect to them) have been able to really expose him with their pace.

No idea who Wenger would look to bring in but i'd love to see Gibbs really push Monreal this season, up his game and take the starting spot from him and a young Lb brought in such as Ben Chillwell. Failing that would love to see us spend big on an elite Lb just no idea who is available.

I see there's a motion at this week's AGM to take away season tickets from people who regularly don't attend games, wouldn't it be brilliant if it was passed.
Financially it makes no odds to the club but the more room that can be found for noisy enthusiastic passionate fans the better place the Emerirates will be for players and fans.
If it were to go ahead it would also send an excellent message out that the club was every bit as interested in football matters as it is financial ones.

Totally agree mate, we are full up every week but have empty seats dotted around the stadium where people haven't bothered to turn up and as I'm 95,000th and something on the list for one I'll get a little closer. 😁.

Its great for the future of the club we have a waiting list Red, let's hope you never get anywhere near the top because if you go from 95,000th to number 1 it means Arsene still ain't found a winning formula dispite celebrating his second 20 stint as our manager:-)

As a ticket holder you can only re sell your ticket if the game sells out, you can then do so via ticket exchange where you lose 10% handling fee 😳 3 low games this week where none have sold out that's why empty seats . Not every ticket holder can make every game so you actually lose money! Won't be a spare seat at Spurs game same as the Chelsea one just the way it is . Plus the league cup this week that's 4 games in 14 days doubt many have done the full 4.

The system needs changing then clockend, 4 games in 2 weeks is not only very expensive but also time consuming especially during the busy working week, surely if a system was put in place where those not attending gave a minimum of 48 hours notice there season ticket right could be protected for a set amount of games per season while those who don't give the required notice would have there tickets revoked.
60,000 seats and 500,000 + fans in the UK alone seems like such a wasted opportunity for everyone to me.

It's not for Arsenal as those are already payed for so they don't care! Not the fans traveling there every week what gets me more is that my seat ranges from £30 -67 depending who your playing! Now that needs addressing, doesn't take long to get your season ticket either most nowadays only have there's for one or two seasons max as so expensive another reason why Arsenal don't care no rewards for loyal fans 😡.
