In this competition we are the Bayern Munich and Juventus, not favourites for the whole title but very much competitors for it.

Gunner i also think, teams at this level can't punish our deficiencies at the back like teams have in the last ten years. Wenger can actually send the team out to just go play as he likes to do.

When those around him play well Mesut is top top class, he's the top grade oil that makes the engine pure not the Petrol that makes it go in first place.
That doesn't make him a luxury player more the difference given the right conditions to express his outstanding talent.

Thought 🔥zil, Rambo and Lacca were as good as Kos”s defending was stupid at times.
We were dominant but still looked very vulnerable. Mustafi and Kos are always one moment away from a big mistake.

Aaron is a very good player, just not as good as he thinks he is but if he put the same effort into doing the simple things as well as he does the spectacular he could be an outstanding talent.

Been reading some lovely tributes from fans who met Butch and he obviously was every bit the kind man in real life he came across as on TV.
my favourite story about Ray Wilkins was told by Sir Bobby Robson after an pre Mexico 86 friendly.
Ray was at Milan at the time and in the 80s Italy was where the megar money was earned in football.
The players gathered in the hotel bar after the game and Sir Bobby was in the process of ordering a round of drinks for the players as a thank you for thier efforts when suddenly Butch shouted out " I'll get these boss, I earn lot more than you do "
Everyone including Sir Bobby fell about laughing simply because everyone knew Butch well enough to know exactly how the joke was intended.
How many people could pull that Joke off without being thought arrogant buy a single person in the room?
I think that says a lot about how wll respected and liked Ray Wilkins must have been by those who knew him well.
