That will do, the unbeaten run continues and 4pts from Spurs and United games on the trot is very respectable, we've had worse days and half weeks :-)

After the energy we put into the Spurs game I thought we had every chance of losing to United so happy with a point, let’s hope all the potential injuries are nothing to serious.

United sure love kicking people. 🙄.

I think most of us would have taken 4pts before the weekend mate and all of us would have gladly accepted 2pts from these two games back in the summer when we first saw the fixture list.
Dick said the players were disappointed in the dressing room after the game with only getting 1pt last night, which just shows how everyone's mentality has improved in the last 4 months, in days gone by getting a draw at old Trafford would have been seen as a reason to get the open top bus out by the players and maybe ask for an improved pay deal too :-)
Long way to go still of course but so far so very very good.

I think we all did Banbury mate it would have been super fantastic, i think much like a genuine title bid, it will come we've just got to enjoy the journey getting there, we are now we are out of reverse and moving through the forward gears again it's a pleasure to be a gooner again:-)

Hopefully not for a few years yet Banbury, don’t want him spoiling everyone’s fun. 😉.

Iwobi and not Lacasette but apart from that as expected tonight, still no Mesut in the squad, not looking good for him and Arsenal being together much longer imo.

I was wondering what peoples thoughts on our slow start to games (except Sundays) . In my opinion emery has hopefully learned from other managers, for example when klopp took over at Liverpool and insisted on playing a high tempo pressing game it was amazing for the start of the game but because the players weren't fit enough they would drop off quickly and lose point late on in the game, much like emerys psg team did against Barcelona.
To counter act this I believe he has instructed they players to start slower and finish stronger until the time comes that they are fit enough to play this high tempo press for 90 mins.

I'm not really sure why we are usually so poor first half Ben, the fact we are yet to go into the half time break ahead is strange
I guess it must be part of some plan we haven't quite got right yet but once we do, that will be exciting:-)

I think Emery prefers to have an ace or two up his sleeve where he has game changers on the bench. Lull the opposition into a false sense of security.

I remember reading that Zahas problems at united also included a dalliance with moyes daughter don’t know how true that is.

Looking forward to tonight's match, which I have a feeling will be extremely tough to win, even though United are in disarray I am certain they will turn up against us.
Hopefully Mustafi will be fit as we look more resilient with 3 at the back. Guendouzi in for suspended Xhaka. The front three? Ramsey, Lacazette and Aubameyang?
In respect of Ramsey, I wonder if we have a signing lined up to replace him, as it was strange to withdraw the contract offer and even after his display against the Toot, Emery said the situation is closed. Perhaps Mata or Rabiot?

Sounds like the club have taken back the initiative regarding the players contracts, no more will they won't they sagas it now seems like more of an either they want to stay and play for Arsenal football club or they don't while the club simply moves forward with or without them.
I think the days of underachieving players holding the club to ransom are like many other things at the club, a thing of the past.
It's brilliant to see and I personally think the sooner Aaron joins Theo and Jack as ex Arsenal players the better because they all a part of our overpaid underachieving cosy club mentality of the past that has no future under Dick Sven and this new exciting Arsenal mentality.

To be fair on Ramsey’s situation he’s been very professional about it and been giving his best whenever he’s called to play. His attitude been top form in my opinion. And you have to respect him for that, we could say he must deliver and respect his contract but we know in this time of age player were behaving awfully when things not going there way.

True Moe, I guess he's trying to showcase himself and knows Dick will leave him out completely if he doesn't conform and deliver giving Aaron fewer and less lucrative offers will be available to him either in January or the summer.
I wish him well where ever he goes i just think there is no room for (its all about me players) at Arsenal anymore.

I really think Emery could force more out of Ozil, his stats aren't actually that bad for km covered sprints etc, although if you watch him they are misleading. If he goes we will have a real hole in the creative area like ManU who can't break anyone down when they're facing 2 banks of 4, I'm not entirely sure how we make Ozil into a D Silva or a similar creative attacking midfielder. I only hope they have someone on the radar to come straight in, as for all the other dead wood in their last year I'd be happy to see some of the youth players come in to those positions in the squad. I will b a little sad to see Ramsey go he's a great impact player but that's all he is Smith Rowe should be looking at his squad number IMO.
