Now that is scraping the barrel I agree with the triple aaa thing for ramsey small but very powerful as the battery let's hope for you guys he is a duracell and continues his great start (much as I hate to say it) if he stays fit he is a potential player of the season

Congratulations to Ramsey for winning player of the month. Very much deserved.
Also congratulations to Gibbs for his international call up. On that note, good luck to Leighton Baines, hope you play well, don't get injured, and play the full 90 ;-)
Flybo

90 mins. jesus. two games mate. 180 mins plus added mins only for baines. because he's a legend.

gibbs you suck stay on the bench.

Agree0 Disagree0

Well done Aaron no one deserves it more than you both for the fantastic form this season and over coming such a bad injury.

Well done Gibbo and Jack if your country needs you then be yourself and win a staring role in Rio, the city that is not the ego maniac from Manchester's self funded, directed, produced and self deluding version of his life story that is.

A bit out of left field, but would anyone else like to see Cazorla retire from international football after the world cup next summer?

Ofcourse you can never dictate when someone calls it quits for their country but the guy has over 50 caps in their golden generation and will have not have much left to prove.
I can also see the Spanish rebuilding or starting from "scratch" with the likes of Isco, Thiago, Martinez, Illaramendi and co.

I know its a difficult thing to ask a player, but I feel we could have had Rosicky a lot more often had he retired from international football but then again he was their captain.
Maybe someone like Mertesacker and Podolski who have nearly 200 caps between them can prolong their careers considering they'v been at it for 8 years now.

Santi, Podolski, Sagna and Per should join the likes of Arteta as our senior guys who put their feet up during these international breaks while the younger lads travel to all corners of the globe spending 30 hours on a plane and then 70 minutes on the pitch hoping praying they don't get injured

Normally when a player retires from international sport their performances dip - seemingly because they've lost their appetite.
So i'd like to see Santi go on at the very top level.

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't get why Cazorla, Pod or Mert should retire. In a good way Cazorla doesn't always start for Spain so he gets a little rest but also the motivation from getting called up and playing a bit.

Sagna might benefit from it though.

I remember suggesting we should go for Remy during the last transfer window, got short down by a few people saying he is not arsenal class, he is quality just what we need as a plan b

Believable0 Unbelievable0

A pacey striker like Remy or Muriel would do

Agree0 Disagree0

Problem is Remy would have to be playing week in week out to produce those performances.
Its like Gervinho at Roma, he knows for sure he is their left winger so he plays like one of the main guys.

Agree0 Disagree0

Imo, if we sign a striker they have to be better than Giroud, I don't think Remy is.

Agree0 Disagree0

337, why can't we just sign a player to improve the squard? does not nesserary have to be better than Giroud all round, but with his pace up front gives us another option.
also if we needed to go up front with two players I think there styles would suit each other compared to having Giroud and Bender up front as there would be no point as there styles are quite similar,

Agree0 Disagree0

Thierry wasnt arsenal class when he joined and he turned into a legend. I genuinely feel loic remy could be as good as thierry. he's a very good player

Agree0 Disagree0

Remy is amazing. Some of his goals have been world class. We should have signed him in the summer.
