If it was possible I would willing reverse the Dortmund result for a win at Old Trafford, we owe Man U a beating on their own muck heap, I just hope it isn't one tough game too far.

Does anyone get the feeling something controversial will lose us the game

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Got a feeling RVP might have a big say in the outcome. maybe an own goal lol

Agree0 Disagree0

Praying we don't get suckered in to giving away a pen by that dirty cheating mf Ashley Young. Isn't it about time action was taken retrospectively to stamp this out of the game we love? Ok, what about Pires? Eduardo? I hear you ask- well yeah, every PL team will have players who on the odd occasion have gone down too easily- but this guy has taken it to another level. Suggest every supporter from every club boos him till he cuts it out. Otherwise football will not be worth watching. COYG!

Agree0 Disagree0

The difference between young and the players you mention tel is like rooney and Suarez they are all known better for their ability above the cheating.
Think Vinnie Jones and you think thug, think Barton you think but case and young?
Oh how his family must feel when people are polite enough not to mention him in conversation

A couple of quick question's for those who have the jitters about tomorrow.

Do you think we will ever in the history of the game ever at some point in time win at old Trafford ever again? Hopefully you all answered, yes of course!

Then if not tomorrow then when?

Sleep well and remember there is NOTHING to fear but fear its self.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

And Wayne Rooney lol

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Nov 2013 05:09:34
True. But Santi and Rosicky can do much more terrible things to them than Rooney and Januzaj can do to us. They will score maybe, but we will score 4

Agree0 Disagree0

I scoff at rooney DG, scoff scoff

But that big spider that crawled behind your fridge 8 years ago and has been quietly growing and waiting for the right time to reintroduce himself!
That would worry me a lot!

Agree0 Disagree0

Lol G62 .

Has anybody got any fingernails I can borrow please?
I started nibbling them during the Liverpool game and finished them off against Dortmund, so if anybody has a spare set, can I borrow them please or do I have to start chewing my toenails? (thats actually quite gross lol)

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Just think Kos and Mert then think Ozil Carzola and then at bed time think Aaron and Olly.
You should sleep like baby DG and with the internal break coming up your finger nails will grow as strong as your smile

Agree0 Disagree0

G62, the only person who thinks about Olly at bedtime is Flybo lol

Agree0 Disagree0

Playing Utd is the only game that actually makes me nervous, always will always has.

Chelski dropping points makes a win tomorrow even more mouth watering, didn't think that was possible.

I'm like a kid the night before their birthday, totally over excited, can't wait

Cum on lads

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Yeh I can't believe it. if we win tomorrow we will be 7 clear of them

hi:)
cant wait for tomorrow, worried but confident (for once!)
please please, watch out for Ashley 'diver boy' Young, I can see them being reduced to these antics to get something :(
just see what Ramires just done tonight.
Kos, Per take care:)
anyway:) good luck:)
COYG andi:)
PS. awesome result on wed, still buzzing!:):):)

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Yeah sadly young is as dangerous as the dutch bloke and rooney but obviously for very different reasons but we have to hope the ref doses his job and gives any doubt what so ever to us and all other teams who face the once half tidy player turned non league sub who shouldn't be used EVER

Agree0 Disagree0

I hope the ref turns down a stonewall penalty against young in the last minute

Gazidas has said we need to sign in January, he said:

"We will see where Arsenal will be in January and whether or not the club will invest in another forward, " he told L'Equipe.

"Olivier Giroud won't be able to go on all alone until the end of the season. We need to buy."

Even more good news. Looks like we are investing in January!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Have to agree with Gazidis. I bet bendtner feels totally unloved at the moment.

Agree0 Disagree0

NB has come out and said 'Arsenal want to sell me and I want to leave.'

Hopefully a replacement that is as good as NB thinks he is comes over to the emirates

For a bet, my wifes wearing a Tottenham shirt for a week. She has been kicked, verbally abused and had things thrown at her.

God knows what's going to happen to her when she leaves the house.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Very very good DG :-) if we can produce that kind of magic tomorrow we will be setting all kind of PL records at OT

Agree0 Disagree0

Nice one DG :) me and my dad laughed for ages at this one!:):) thanks:)
COYG andi:)

Agree0 Disagree0

Heres hoping G62. so worried about tomorrow though but i'm sure we will give a good account of ourselves mate.

Agree0 Disagree0

Nice one dg

Agree0 Disagree0

DG if you weren't worried I would be mate :-)
Think of all the reasons we're top of the league then x it by all the reasons we're top of the CL toughest group then and only then think how good we are going to be when we get going fully.
All is good my friend

Its my pleasure boys, just trying to bring a bit of light hearted cheer to your lives lol.

Well lads a massive game tomorrow the biggest test of our title credentials so far, but I think we should be more confident going into this game than we have been in years, I'm not advocating arrogence but we need to get over the fear of going to old trafford, fergison is gone and as good as moyes is he is not him.

We had a massive test against a big team on Wednesday in one of the most intimidating grounds in europe and we passed with flying colours, now is the time for the boys to show there new mental fortitude that wenger keeps preaching and go out and do the buisness and shut the critics up.

4-1 to the gooners on Sunday, some much needed revenge is badly needed :-)

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Fingers crossed you are correct Trev

The bad news is its well POSSIBLE we could be held to a draw or even lose tomorrow, why? because their a few if any tougher PL games than Manchester United away.

The good news is we will most PROBERLY open up an 11 point gap between us and them, why? Because we are a better team than them right now.

We as a team and so many of our players have come of age this season and are getting better and better as the season goes on, while they have lost their greatest asset who made a group of decent players sprinkled with just a few fantastic ones achieve fantastic things as a group the last few years.

If both teams are at their best tomorrow it will be a brilliant game and we will 11 points ahead of the champions in all probability.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

G62, that's a very well thought out and composed post and the biggest compliment I can give you is I could have not done any better lol (smiles)

There's the belief boys! Why should we not be able to beat Man U in their backyard when we were able to travel to Deutschland and get a result?

I really hop we don't play rambo on the right tomorrow to accommodate flamini and arteta in the middle as some media out let's are reporting!

Id be happy with 1 of flam or arteta, both bring strong qualities to the team. But for me Rambo has to play in the middle and Rosisky needs to start!

can't wait for the game!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Steady with the 'hopping' mate you'll fall over, try changing legs occasionally lol

Agree0 Disagree0

Tu shay

Ha ha ha. Am enjoying reading the build up to Sunday's game. Particularly the guardian's coments section on what wenger said about fergie and the approaching match. Definitely some united fans trying to cover up that they sense the tables are turning : )

Morning boys and girls,
Just wanna put out there whatever happens tomorrow, especially if we lose its not the end of the world wenger doesn't need sacking hope all the doom mongers stay away
coyg oh and 2-2 for me

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Great post smiffy
Your so right mate all is fantastic now and whatever happens tomorrow it still will be, the fact we are going to win will keep those who love to moan and hope to have their day at bay a little longer though mate

Shezza
Sagna Mert Kos Gibbs
Rambo Flam
Caz Ozil Ros
Giroud

For me, against Utd

No one says it, but Arteta is too slow

He was directly responsible for gifting them 4 shots on goal at least through fouls and being out of position

Bayern feasted on him last year.

He's ideal for slower PL teams, but we really missed Flam vs Dortmund, or else I think we would have played even better

Ideally down the road Jack can be this partner to Rambo in the middle

Believable0 Unbelievable0

100% agree. Flamini is faster, a better tackler, and has just enough passing skill to complete the job as CDM. Both are leaders, though I feel Flamini fits the position better than Arteta. Arteta's fundamentals are textbook, but I regrettably say, he's not quite there athletically for the big games.
Still love him. He's a born leader and someone any player can look up to

Agree0 Disagree0

Is Flamini and walcott available. against man utd??

Agree0 Disagree0

That would be my choice also. I just hope with Flamini available again Wenger doesn't put Ramsey out wide. May seem harsh on Arteta as he has done well for us in that position over the last couple of games, but Flam is just a rock infront of Kos and Mert.
Flybo

Agree0 Disagree0

I really disagree with this. We have kept 3 clean sheets with Arteta in the last 3 games he played with us. We kept 2 in about 10 games with Flamini. He wasn't at his best against Dortmund but still made some critical challenges, and for me was MOTM against Liverpool. Quickly looking at stats, he has made on average 3.2 crucial challenges p/game while Flamini has made 1.9. Also remember that our defence is still not statistically as good as it was across the whole of last season, when Arteta was our rock in midfield.

I rate Flamini highly and he was a great signing but don't under-rate Arteta. Removing Arteta would be a mistake imo, it would upset the fantastic defensive balance we have had for the last couple of games. Personally I would start the same team as we did against Dortmund, particularly given that Flamini and Wilsh are coming back from injury. We could bring on Flamini later on to sure up the defence if we're winning. That would be an incredible change to be able to make.

Agree0 Disagree0

Oleg you make a great case and have swayed me to agree with you mate.

Flamini or Arteta is a tough call but a great one to have to make.

Arteta like us as a team has proved himself against Liverpool and Dortmund and deserves to keep his place tomorrow I think

Agree0 Disagree0

The fact that we have almost 2 players for every position, except Giroud, is brilliant. well done Arsene.
