I think this may be my third or fourth post.
A few things I would like to say really.
We are all very dissapointed in the run of results we are having there is no doubt about that and there are some very good opinions on here about it and that's good too.
Being a new poster but a long term reader of this site I enjoy the humour of people its makes it fun.
However I have noticed a few snidey comments directed at people and I feel that's out of order.
I am going to mention names even though its not my game but I've noticed that Stoner is constantly popping off Goldboy and having sly digs at others too last one mentioning peoples ignorance.
If everyone was a top notch expert they would be earning a crust on TV as a pundit. This site I thought was about ordinary people sharing views and why not. Its not about giving it large over the internet.
I have to say I think the Eds do a great job but the slagging people off has got to stop I didn't join this site to read peoples personal vendettas.
Sorry Stoner mate but you are at it most of the time just look back in your history.
Goldboy if its of any consolation I think a lot of what you posted made a lot of sense mate.
Ive got to say, one of the reasons I stopped posting was because I was getting fed up with the constant digging out of people.
Have a go at the team boys if you are not happy
not each other.
Thanks

Good post mate.

2.) Harmony and respect are a two way street and as much as people shouldn't ever be getting personal with each other or threatening them EVER in any way shape or form they shouldn't also be trying to goad each other indirectly either.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion and should be allowed to post it without fear of personal abuse but also we all know their are things that wind others up and gets a reaction that quickly becomes volatile because they've been covered and brought about hostility many many times before, personally I think unless they become relevant again as news rather than history recycling old arguments benefits no one.
Personally I can ignore anything that I find provocative especially if I feel that's the motive because what floats some peoples boats don't float others.
As said respect is and should be a two way street and if we can't get on with that much we should just avoid each other.
Banters great and why we're all here but bating ain't in my book

G62,

But you kept bullying me regarding Remy.

Lol, only joking mate, it was all good banter and I loved every minute.

That's how it should be.

4.) You got me there Dags :-) I did indeed beat you very hard with the Remy stick quite relentlessly but as you say in the name of well intended humorous banter never in malice .
Just this week Rocky took exemption to my views and decided not to post any longer and I'm absolutely gutted about that, its never my intention to offend anyone seriously, in the name of obvious humour and friendly banter very often but never to the extent of actually upsetting some one for real.
I don't understand anyone who would want to deliberately offend anyone else, disagree debate and agree to disagree are surely the way of things not trying to goad each other into an argument.
The traffic on this page has decreased with the teams fortunes to some extend as we all have different opinions on the best way forward for the club so naturally disagreement takes the place of the humour that was rife a liitle while back quite often.
Sometimes we offend people without meaning to and that's a great shame but when people try to offend others? that's shameful in my opinion

5.) 12 Nov 2014 14:22:27
ARSENAL, GOLDBOY, FIBBY, EDDIE5555, GOODOLDARSENAL, thanks for your input mate.

If I have a differing opinion then I'll say it, I have no problem if GOLDBOY doesn't like Wilshere but to do it under various guises is in my book bollox. I'm also not into making stuff up for effect unlike Walter Mitty.

I'm not into buttering up Mancs or Scousers, they can simply jog on.

I think you'll also find that GOLDBOY was the abusive one. My last post pointed out he had simply rehashed posts from the weekend.

Did you hear me complain when someone stated those who thought Wenger should stay were deluded. No, I didn't think so.

This is a banter site where I have an opinion like everyone else, I don't suffer fools gladly and like I said, I'm not going to suck up to plastic Mancs or bitter scousers.

If that's ok with you mate.

6.) Here we go again, same format same trap same out come.
When did goading people ever achieve anything worth while.
Banter is fun and informative
Baiting isnt

7.) 12 Nov 2014 17:29:19
G62,
I know mate, I think you and Banbury upset Rocky, shame though because you were only expressing your entitled opinion.

C'mon Stoner mate, chill out.
Its all just a bit of fun at the end of the day.

I best 'jog on' before winstone gets knarky again lol

10.) 12 Nov 2014 18:36:59
Dags and g62,

As the eternal peace keepers for everything Arsenal I totally understand where you are coming from and each of us no doubt get frustrated with perceived failings by each other to see our own point of view.

I'm pretty much in the minority of those that want Wenger to stay despite seeing what everyone else sees with things going wrong on the pitch.

I'm not certain that Stoner needs to chill as it's pretty obvious what has happened, you'd have to be blind not to see it, but maybe like you've said before, let it go over you're head.

It's not been much fun on here lately, we all desperately want us to win and win like champions, it's got so bad people actually want Song back ;-)

We're riding a pretty sketchy wave, we want Wenger to see what we see and do what we want him to do.

Me I hope he does and leaves us on a huge high but the light at the end of the tunnel seems further away instead of blinding us like it should be.

So I agree totally with Stoner but maybe let those that have a somewhat odd agenda get on with it.

Anyway I think we are definately going to win the league, just wish I knew which year! :-)

red,

I don't have a problem with Stoner, he calls it as he see's it and fair respect to the bloke.
in fact, I like the fella.

me? well, i'm still pro-Wenger and posted a nice little post a few days ago about us getting behind him.
unfortunately, it went on other post's so not many saw it.
(actually, I think you did).

you think we are going to win the league mate?
maybe you should change your name to Stoner too, lol.

12.) Great post Red mate I agree with so much of it, yes we all knew what was going on in the original post mate multiple user names do this site no favours at all, Better to be wrong and disagreed with as yourself than try and be right pretending to be someone else, all I would say to stoner is like you knew exactly what was really going on mate we all knew too hence my comment about goading people.
Me and Dags do try to be peace keepers I guess it comes from not wanting people upset I've never liked people being embarrassed or picked on for no good reason or the site to to be degraded we are all grown ups so should be able to disagree with each other with resorting to personal insults.
Red I totally respect your support for Arsene mate I don't agree with it but I respect you for having the guts to be in a minority and still say what you think and also for accepting that others have a different opinion which just happens to be the right one :-)

Back again second round for me.
What was it over 80 percent possession in the first half?
Threw it away I thought. Still lacking that killer touch.
Lets be truthful and not kid ourselves here. Spurs were pretty awful compared to us and if we can't bury a team playing like that against us within the first half? well! I don't know what to think.
I have to agree with a few comments about up coming games, Chelsea as an example. We all know performances like that are just not good enough Chelsea will smash us if we don't liven up.
What was Sanchez doing on the bench? madness.
Pay all that money for a player then warm his backside up for him.
Now we are well and truly lumbered with the injuries.
A Ramsey comment was made and I have to agree " One good season so far " Now he is out again not his fault I know but its the same thing over and over again.
No games lost fantastic but too many drawn can be our nail in the coffin at the end of the season.
Unless we are going for another record of never being beat in a season then great but I don't think that is the plan somehow.
Do we need a new manager? Who knows?

ARSENAL

1.) On Aaron to be fair isn't he our top goal scorer still at the moment?
He's not up to last season standards so far admittedly but I'm sure when he's 100% fit we'll see him at his very best again this season.
Over one or two games players can fool you but Rambo's done much more than that for us

2.) Arsene needs to & so do we, need to understand that possession doesn't mean wining. In the 1st 3 mins or so we made somewhere around 20-30 odd passes Al in our half.
I for one am fed up with us passing the ball square back forward back square then back to the keeper! All of this happens at walking pace, meanwhile the opposion get their defence organised. We then bounce the ball around looking for the perfect 5-6 pass goal. They then get the ball off of us mid 7th pass & 3 passes later are looking to score.
For the love of whoever get some direct fast football organised.

A friend turned me on to this site and got to say I love it.
Been reading bits here and there for a few weeks but this is the first time I've had a chance to get involved so to speak.
im not to bothered about tonight really I think if Arsene has to
play Bellerin he will do a good job. Last time I saw this boy play he was mustard so i'm looking forward to see him again if he gets the chance.
Well that's my first post let's see what happens from here.

ARSENAL

{Ed007's Note - Welcome aboard.}
