Rumours of a £24m bid for Carvalho rejected. Smokescreen or have we moved on from Schniederlin?
1.) Eds there have been so many reports on balotelli today, what's the latest with him?

Ed's. Arsenal desperately need extra CB cover for Kos/Per particularly if TV5 leaves.
Do we have any interest in Hinteregger, Schar, Rekik, Caulker or Lascalles?
All would be good options imo

100 - (12+3+35+15=65)
100 - 65 = 35.
Rog hasn't shown his working too well, but the eds note was more to do with not spending the entire amount i'm sure.

I really hope the Khedira transfer is put to bed now.
£20m for a guy in the last year of his contract
+ £30m of wages over 4 years,
a terrible injury record and
no resale value (he is 27)
for a player we really don't need given the abundance of options already available in the dynamic box-to-box midfield role.
We need a top DM who is young, and robust and not silly over wages: Carvalho, Bender or Schneiderlin.
