According to goal ozil is due for a medical. YES!, ed do you know if this is true? {Ed044's Note - Ed02 has said elsewhere that Oezil will have a medical this afternoon and that Arsenal have asked Chelsea if Demba BA is available on loan and they would still like to strike a deal for Di Maria today.}

Arsenal have signed Famini on a free transfer. Ed what do you think about Flamini?

{Ed022's Note - Personally, I wasn't overly happy with the way he left us for "The Grass is Greener" AC Milan. However, he's won a couple of trophies, is experienced, has played for us before (and is PL experienced) so as a free transfer then there is very little risk and its at least another body into the squad. A versatile one at that...}

1.) This is a joke

2.) The guy is class he fights tooth and nail, a real warrior on the pitch. I can't think of a better defensive mid that scores and assists as much too.

4.) Ed022 said it right. We have to look objectively at the player he is now. We need him, we know he fights for his team on the pitch, he can do the job assuming his knee holds out, so welcome back aboard.

It's a poor poor reflection on the current state of the transfer dealings (window still not closed but sheeshh, really?!) but that's not Flamini's fault.

Classy addition, gave his all on the pitch and worked well in a team at the peak of its greatness. Great player for the squad.

I'd really like this bale business finished as I seriously believe that will trigger something from real to us.

Now just the small matter of actually spending this invisible 70 million, gazidis, Wenger and Kroenke have been swimming around in like a scene from Duck Tails! Come on boys. Starting waving your queen heads about!

Kondogbia Is Terminating His Contract With Sevilla. Kondogbia is partly owned by Doyen Sports Investments - the same company who have a stake in Radamel Falcao - and now the Frenchman is believed to be on his to Monaco.

{Ed022's Note - That is the rumour doing the rounds. Arsenal definitely have an interest in Kondogbia but the lure of football in France and a heafty wage rise seems to be appealing. However, with the lure of plenty of French players at Arsenal, the CL football now secure and a wage increase on his current salary then don't rule out Arsenal...}

News in that monaco activated kondogbia's relase clause, we are in for ozil, cabaye move is edging closer and hopefully we will get another striker maybe benzema.

1.) There is no way we will be signing 3 more central midfielders

2.) You are in dream world if you think you will sign ozil
1 doubt he's for sale
2 if he was utd will be in for him and he will pick us over you every day of the week

Arsene wenger has said there could be signings before the north london derby.

1.) On the day of the north london derby. he will say that we will have additions in Jan.

I honestly do not see the big names coming.

Cabaye, 2 unknown named players and possibly a defender and that's what we go into the season with

I agree with this as well. While the media is hyping up this Real Madrid raid, this is mainly from British Publications and the Spanish Media is saying very little.

I see us signing Cabaye for 17mln, and probably a young winger that can provide cover.

Finally 1 defensive signing might come in.

In my opinion I think we shouldn't go for benzema, 125 games 56 goals for real and he's been more of starter than higuain. we could look at burak yilmaz, michu, jackson martinez and maybe benteke.they will be much cheaper. my opinion guys.

1.) Even though he's just signed a contract, going all out for Benteke would be great. They'd accept a bid of around 25million I Rekon.
