Heard a German football specialist say on that a list of players leaving the Bundesliga is usually compiled by 4pm a day before the deadline as Germans like doing things early. He said there is no major Bundesliga player leaving the league. Really sad if true.

Hi Eds, Can we now safely end all Arsenal links to Benzema. It looks like he has been included in lineup to face Gala. Surely they won't risk an injury this close to a transfer?

I was wondering if you guys agree that it might be worth going Javi Martinez for our CDM problems. I have not seen him feature for Bayern much.
Another thing is- now that JW has complicated things a bit with his new injury, would it worth going after Goetze. He is not happy at Bayern according to reports. If that fails or is too expensive, why not take gamble on Gourcuff. What say u?

When he's fit and healthy he's the best holding midfielder in the world in my opinion better than matic he can also play cb been wishing we signed him for the last couple of seasons now that pep likes playing lahm in midfield I can't see were javi fits in

Gourcuff is also very injury prone and, in my opinion, wouldn't bring anything better than what we already have. Javi Martinez would be a good shout but I think Goetze would be very dear, especially in terms of wages

Kokorin looks quite lethal on YouTube. Not the best place to assess a player but he looks quick and packs a shot. Movement is quite good too. Might be an interesting addition in links are true.

A bit of both to be honest. I don't think Arsene wanted to spend. The pressure became unbearable and the club feared a backslash. They then opted for Ozil who luckily had become disgruntled at RM.
we needed a striker more than anything in most peoples opinion but I have a feeling that it will work for the best because what we really needed is someone with that killer pass and that is what we have in Ozil.
