I really feel now that down to the current injuries the next team he picks for Wednesday will be a much better balanced team, we have accommodated Ramsey this season, arteta we know about, jack has done well recently but now we will see Ozil shine in their absence in my opinion behind Ox was our best player yesterday.
Looking forward to Wednesday I expect a good display from a better balanced team.

So soldado just scored, let me ask you.hell of a lot of money for a 28 year old, but the guy is a goal scorer, poacher, exactly what we are missing. Should we have gone in for him instead of wasting our time with Suarez saga when it is clear he only wants to go to Madrid?

3.) Guys mark my words he will hit 20 plus this season and after week one had we got him we would all be a little less worried.
I am sure with giroud hitting 20 plus we would be in a much better state than wasting our time with Suarez then panic buying on deadline day
4.) Suarez is great. But any fan knew that he was going no where, and that's even more apparent now. There is no reason to place anymore bids on him. Arsenal needs to concentrate on other people.
I also think Rooney is a lost cause too.
5.) You sire, are an person. he scores a penalty. AND! he ain't worth the money, giroud scored yesterday also and it was from open play. our worries do not primarily exist in attack so go and bum tottenham elsewhere.

I think you will find if giroud is injured then we will be in trouble there, and if you read my post my argument is for giroud and another striker to score goals not to replace him.
Fact is we are short in quality all over the pitch. But maybe you want to bum wenger and Ivan.

Great performance, that is what happens when you play Ramsey and ozil in their best/favoured positions.
However the reason for my post is Jeff reine Adelaide he looks special, composed, big and strong, our future Viera I am sure, Wenger seems to think that will be his position...watch this space.....

Sanchez starts, I am not sure it is worth the risk, he may well have a stormer but then again damage the hamstring more or knee and miss an important part of the season.

Just a quick question to the army of Giroud knockers,
What is his worth to our team?

Goals away at Liverpool and Everton, aswell as twice v City and a fantastic strike vs Man U.
He is starting to show up in the big games.
2.) Even Bendtner scored once in a while. I still don't think he's good enough to win us the premier league. Can't remember him doing too much else. If we had lost today and he scored would we still be cheering him on after that performance? Great team display but for me he is doing a good job holding the ball but doesn't do enough to put us on the next level.
3.) About 10 mil, that's what he cost and that's all he's worth. Good but not great. He doesn't thrill me sorry.
4.) He should show up a little more often. In EPL its more about strike rate than who you score against

Guys of course we want more goals from our main striker, but you still can't see it, he is the one that brings others into the game gives them the space and time, occupies quality players like Kompany to allow our more expressive players like Santi like Sanchez like ox to cause the problems. His actual goals per game ratio is actually quite good, he is more an Alan smith type player, ask any of his teammates how they valued Alan smith and they would wax-lyrical about him just as Santi did today about giroud.
Fact is we are a much better TEAM with Giroud than without.

I still maintain he's the worst regular number 9 we have had in 18 years. I just don't rate the guy. He definately won't be getting a statue, mind you he does do a good impression. 8.) Steve.r we should not compare to wright and Henry, let's compare him to who is available on the market now and who will fit the style and formation is playing, who is there to do that role better?
Do you think there is another Henry lurking somewhere or even a wright?
My point is giroud is a fit for the formation and the players he plays with.
Would you rather see wellbeck play the lone role? Walcott? Bring back podolski let him do it?
9.) Honestly, I prefer welbeck, for the fear factor, I don't see walcott or pod as out and out strikers. A fit welbeck on the left sancez in the middle and a fit walcott or ox on the right, for me with what we have would be more dynamic and scarier. I rate giroud as a mid table prem striker, no more. He would be plan b.
10.) This so called "style" got us 4th 2 seasons ago, 4th last season and we currently lie in 5th. So no offence
Shaneyd, but we can do much better with regards to our "style" which is currently not EPL winning style

Good team performance.
Santi was fantastic.
Good (in a way) to see us win easily when Sanchez was quiet.
Onwards and upwards, Wenger go buy a top defender let's cover for injuries.
Le coq did a job too, fair play to him.

Chocolate all signings that would improve our threadbare squad, but wenger waits and waits and we lose the chance.

Ospina for me, better at claiming crosses,brave, and a good shot stopper(just needs to push them away from danger)
Both our keepers are terrible at kicking but ospina's distribution is better.
Ozilbaggins, wouldn't say great team mate, A good team for sure, a great team really ought to be challenging for the premiership in what is to be fair full off just good teams I would say excluding Chelsea.
Ryanp, absolutely spot on that mate, we sat back far too much, if we won we would have been saying how we won not playing well, but we got over run in midfield, Ramsey chasing shadows, wellbeck giving the ball away cheaply and Santi not in it today, ospina I like him but he does parry the ball out too much, the consolation is Spurs still will drop points against lesser teams, but got to say Kane is some player. Move on is all we can do now.
