We will win 1-4 at Monaco. Stay positive.

A bit off topic, but i'd like to have an app that allows me to do permutations on the league table, you know, like if we win these and they lose these, we'll win the league kinda stuff. Is there such an app you guys using. Doing manually takes kinda long. If there's such a thing, please let me know.

http://www.thefishy.co.uk/calculator0.php?Competition=1

something along those lines?

2.) If we win all our remaining 16 games were guaranteed 4th place, but to finish above Southampton we need other teams to do us Favour's

3.) 20 Jan 2015 08:00:54
If we win our last 16 games we would be on 87 points in most years that would win you the league. Usually about 70 odd for 4th

4.) Yess! Like this. Thanks PdotY.

Treble,

I'm old school mate, try pen and paper lol :-)

6.) Win all our last 16 games we will take 3rd I reckon. but no team is winning the last 16 games in this league

7.) Forgetting any calculator and Dags crayons I think we will win 10-12 of our last games, and Southampton will struggle with their injurys, I don't see utd winning as many so my maths tells me we will get third!

8.) 20 Jan 2015 16:33:11
16 games is a hell of a long way to go, we certainly won't win all of them. To be honest the top teams will struggle to get 12.

No point trying to work it all out yet. Around 10 games to go we'll have a better idea. But out next 7 games in all competitions are very winable.

Who do we want/get after AW?

Treble

1.) A visionary
A coach who is not afraid to shift dead weight
A coach who will not let his relationship with players get into the way of doing his job
A coach who is not afraid to try new systems
A coach who worries more about results rather than the worrying about the bank balance (we have Gazidis to worry about that)
A coach who is concerned with nothing else except getting results on the pitch

For me, Jeurgen Klopp
(sp) is that man. Yes, he might be having a shocker of a season so far, but talent does not disappear over night. I just think he lost his mojo and a new challenge at a bigger club is exactly what he needs to get him going again

2.) A coach who realises a clean sheets is as beautiful as a 500 pass goal that tapped in from 2inches would be lovely.
One who Build's a defensive unit that consider conceding a goal as failure not an inevitably

3.) AW's going nowhere, by the time he leaves my 9 year old son will be able to apply for the job!

We need to add some new coaching staff and unfortunately replace bould as no.2 IMO.

My GF's 12 year old son was at Arsenal since the age of 5 and decided to leave last year, it seems we are ignoring our own academy at the moment and trying to steel youngsters from other teams. We need to have a good look at teams like Southampton and coach our younger players better.

Can anybody name any of our coaches (without checking)? Why are none of our ex players coaching? (except bould).

When Brady was there he was very hands on and was Arsenal through and through.

I want to see some of our great players working at our club, and I know some of them would do it for free!

{Ed002's Note - Boro Primorac is an outstanding coach - perhaps they can give him the manager's job when the "fans" force Wenger out?}

4.) If that ever happened Ed002 perhaps Chelsea will sack mourinho and replace him with Arsene?

{Ed002's Note - It is rather embarrassing that you want to make this about Chelsea. But perhaps not as embarrassing that you don't know how good BP is.}

5.) Just to clarify ed, I'm not one of those fans. I would like to see Mr Wenger given support on that side of things or maybe let others take on more responsibility, but none of us know exactly what goes on behind closed doors.

{Ed002's Note - I know 337. They may yet win out in then unfortunately. Having spoken with someone close to him, there have been several issues that have upset him greatly so far this season.}

6.) Perhaps we'll be able to fight off the fierce competition from the long que of clubs offering him the chance to be their boss

7.) G62, you mean AW? Trust me there really would be a long queue of top clubs wanting him for sure.

Albeit he doesn't come cross too well when challenged in interviews, the man is a genius, and whether he stays or goes we must remember the things he achieved at our club.

8.) No 337 I wasn't referring to Arsene in my last post mate, but while we're on Arsene's future I do believe a lot of clubs would want him of course and with a fresh start at a new club where he couldn't rely on past achievements and had to prove himself to a new board fans players might just bring out his best again, he is too close to the trees with us to see the woods IMO, its become an obsession to do it his way and I feel he see's any change as backing down to the fans and pundits who have questioned his tactics etc
Genius or Mad man? They've always said there's a thin line between the two

9.) 10 Jan 2015 14:11:30
I think a few fans have probably upset him, the media can't help BUT I also think the board has not helped over the years or secrecy about ack of money.

If the board had said there are limited funds but a top 4 finish is our goal while we repay the debt then AW would not have taken that stick on trophies!

I would hate to see him go and still believe he is the best man for the role and longterm future for club. He does need a little pressure though as the defence needs sorting out.

{Ed002's Note - You should read the accounts rather than making all of this stuff up.}

10.) G62, I make you right! I, ve just seen 6 flying hippo's with Elvis on one of their backs so I must go now.

I guess I could be a genius too? :-)

11.) I would definitely like to look at our accounts. I have in the past but could not understand it. Can someone help me understand.?

My simple reasoning is that if we're making 300m+ revenue and spend about 170m on wages, and say another 50m on other stuffs. That would still leave us 70-80m every year. So if wwe don't spend that much in a given season that amount should be available for the next season shouldn't it? Say we don't spend anything this season, so the next season we should have about 160m to spend. And we clearly havent., We should have had a billion in our accounts by now.

{Ed002's Note - This is why we don't discuss finances.}

12.) 10 Jan 2015 14:38:33
Ed, can you expand?

{Ed002's Note - It is not worth discussing money.}

13.) I would love to see Arsene prove me and all others who believe he will never seriously compete for let alone win another title with Arsenal wrong.
But each passing season that looks less and less likely to happen over 38 games.
He's to safe in his job and it hasn't been good for him or his reputation to bein the long run to be so safe

Lets not go there, into the ' if we have signed this player ' subject. there's a lot of them in that category.

All I know is Had it been Arsenal, we would be going on about replacing the manager because obviously that's the problem. Not the same from us for other clubs. hmm.

What we need now is as always is some trophies. If we win none of these talks come up.

Him playing all four positions doesnot mean he is a bad (well not upto standard) cb.

Maybe he's a jack of all trades master of one.

Either way with him we'll have a bit more flexibility.

Whats wrong with a player that can play in all four positions, that sort of player would be an asset imo.
